The only other episode which could...

Capture the magic of the previous two seasons, for the first time in the newest season there is actual drama, on a business and personal level, and treats the fans to the best written character of the season, Laura. Different plot twists keep you entertained and surprised by the ending cliffhanger is what will really have you excited for what's to come.

But I just couldn't. This episode shines through the frankly boring third season of the show, and writes original characters for the reboot more like the OG characters than the OG characters! Sharon Lawrence delivers a powerhouse performance and finally gives us a villain, with a fully fleshed out personality, drive and mindset for us to love to hate. The character also has a scene of humanity, and it is one of my favourite shots/ scenes of the series. The episode is not only acted amazing, some of the best of the series, but we continue to peel layers back on the story and the characters. There is one scene in particular, the episode cliffhanger, where Laura does a devilish smile which still makes me rowdy just thinking about it. The lighting is dim, and we see the power this character has, and the real threat she could be against Blake if she so chose. Michael Allowitz directed, who previously directed some of the best episodes of the series *1x22 & 3x01* so I'm only guessing it was him who gave all the fans exactly what we wanted. If Season 3 gave me nothing else that I liked, I can easily say that Laura, and 3x16 shine above the rest of the season.
