Takes Some Unusual Turns
So, we're halfway into Season 4 and it seems the scripts are improving. This is a good one.
Even though he looks so young here, Martin Sheen had been in the biz for fifteen years already by this point. We know at first glance that his character is going to be a troubled young man. Also, when William Smith shows up, we know he's a baddie.
Thankfully, there are some interesting twists in this one that will make you wonder just exactly what everyone's up to. Some of the characters are not as they appear to be - a good thing in a show that often gets too formulaic.
They do the old "novice-needs-to-land-the-plane" routine in this one, and the scene runs a little too long, but otherwise a good showing for Season 4.
