There is no denying that Jinn, directed by Nader Chowdhury and produced by Jazz Multimedia, has lived up to expectations.

Warning: Spoilers
After watching the teaser trailer I felt that there will be a lot of unexpected comedy, it was comedy from start to finish, when the king of jinn attacks, life and death fight on the screen, there is a flood of laughter in the hall because the king of jinn comes in the form of a unicorn.

There is no doubt that you will be entertained watching Jinn, not because of the good movie or great performances, but the horror elements in the movie are so out of context that you can't help but laugh. On the other hand, seeing what is meant to be laughs will make you want to run out of the hall because the horror element is what it really is.

There was a supporting character who is Rafsan's (Sajal Noor) cousin and model. Hearing his dialogues will make you want to leave the hall, the fact that Jazz Multimedia has said that they will pay 1 lakh if you finish this movie alone, for this character, it is really not possible to bear it alone.

Why is Sajal Noor so uncomfortable in front of the camera? I didn't see him stand up and give a dialogue fluently even in a single frame, I think he should attend some workshop on this. One thing about Pooja Cheri is constant, no matter the movie, no matter the situation, the make-up does not go away from her face, in one scene she is in a well, she is being taken out from there and being treated on the bed, there is full make-up. Ziaul Roshan and Moon have presented as much as they can in the roles they have been given, there is nothing to complain about them, because the main characters are in such a state, what else can I say about them.

I don't understand what to say about the main story or the background, I don't understand it, I don't understand whether the director or the story writer actually understands it. The concept of jinn was not presented properly, two stories were shown while giving a twist to the capture of jinn, in which one story disappeared from the script, I did not understand what this jinn can do. So, if you keep the light on, you can't catch the jinn, or if you keep a five-battery light in your hand, you can jinx the jinn, and in the climax, so many things happen together that you can't understand what actually happened while laughing. Shouldn't it have been explained a bit earlier that the Jinn King might come...? Suddenly, Mr. Ojha announced that the King of Jinn was coming, how did he know that he was coming? It means that the person of genius will understand but it has to reach the audience who can understand from this matter.

All in all, you will enjoy watching Jinn, but not because of the movie, but listening to the roasting of the audience around you while watching the movie.

The best way to watch this movie is to get together with 5-6 people and include one person who can comment on anything, he will sit and digest this movie and you will enjoy it.

And I learned the meaning of a new word by looking at the gene, the finished English Interval.

Happy watching.

Funny movie instead of horror movie.
mailnafiz5 May 2023
This guyz tried to create a horror film but accidentally created a funny movie. I'm reviewing this movie as 1* in this segment. Cause this cant be a horror movie. I would rate 4-5* if the movie category is funny. I'm hoping jazz multimedia will create better moive. This is very sad for all. Previously they announced that if someone can watch this flim alone in a hall they will provide 1 lack money. They cheated and do some negative marketing. This cant be a ethics of production house. Better do something good people will support your movie automatic. You never need to do this kind of marketing. Grow up production house.

Bad experience
roshnihiramoni3 May 2023
Puja cherry is overacting everywhere, didn't expected such bad expression, i was hoping a lot from Shajal Noor vaiya but he disappointed, the story wasn't that good, and most annoying part was thoose sound effects, it more looked like a drama than a cinema.and obviously not horrifying.and songs weren't expected after 2/3 scenes of starting and lyrics are awful.people in hall are laughing instead of horrifying. I wonder how Jazz media made this kind of flim. We had so high expectations from them. People of our country is trying to support our flim industry but they are giving us disappointment.if they continue this no one is going to watch Bangla movies anymore.

Funny movie

"Jinn takes viewers on a thrilling and mystical journey into the world of supernatural beings. The show expertly weaves together ancient folklore and modern storytelling, creating a captivating and unique narrative. The characters are well-developed, with complex motivations and relationships that keep you invested. The visual effects are stunning, bringing the jinn to life in a way that's both awe-inspiring and terrifying. With its suspenseful plot twists and thought-provoking themes, Jinn is a must-watch for fans of supernatural thrillers."But this does not live up to the expectations thia is bad.

One of the worst comedy/horror movie of this century
alifalam-592576 May 2023
This movie is so bad that if you play it on a flight everyone will walk out. The demon/jinn is a freaking unicorn yeah you heard me right lol. You have the cut the horn of a unicorn....the movie ends with this scene smh. And just so you know unicorn blood is green, I thought it was like rainbow or something. Whatever I mean, writing a movie script while being high is ok but I want to know what they were smoking when they wrote it lmao The acting looked so fake that at one point I genuinely thought they ate makeups for breakfast. Anyways apart from the fake marketing I know there's a movie for everyone but if this one is for you then you need a therapist.

The best of the worst

Warning: Spoilers
The story of the movie is so bad, along with the bad graphics work, it's just a waste of time. The audience expects something better from talented directors. If you see such a horrible thing, you won't have any taste or respect for Bengali films later. Please avoid this movie. Both Sajal and Pooja Cherry are talented actresses and have always impressed everyone with their work in different ways before. But the director could not portray them well in this movie. There is only a trick to feed the audience with a fabricated story. This cannot be expected in Bengali films by making all kinds of silly stories.

A Entertainment Movie
sumihoque1 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Well. No offence To The Actors And director. This Movie Is Not Horror Movie at all. To me It's Romantic and Funny movie for Kids. This Plot was Good but i didn't find it Horror at all. But I really Liked The Romance Between Puja and Sojol. Their chemistry Was Awesome. I liked This couple. A thing I'm gonna Complain Is The girl Beside The Friend of Rafsan. Her role was totally unnessecery. I didn't liked her Character at all. And Graphics and editing was poor quality. It's needs to improve. But Over all It's a suitable movie for every age It's not that horror. It's a really entertainment movie. I Loved those romance scenes Of Main couple.

Best horror movie for kids
mkstalal28 April 2023
The whole movie was well made, and full of horror (ghost & jinn) activity, which did not bore my kids with just dialogues and slow story lines like other big adult horror movies. But the movie was very entertaining for my kids, they liked the movie so much that they again and again want to watch it. Don't take the movie as a super horror movie for adult, rather take it as a good starter horror movie for child and kids. You wont find another horror movie that you can watch with your kids, and not making them bore, rather they will love it as a soft core highly active horror activity every few minutes throughout the movie and specially the highly engaging ending. The movie is fully ok for any age of child.

Best Horror Movie
monir-8956927 April 2023
The film boasts impressive visuals and special effects, bringing the world of the jinn to life in stunning detail. The plot is filled with twists and turns, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats until the very end. The cast delivers solid performances, with standout performances from the lead actress who portrays the determined and brave Zara, and the actor who plays the mysterious and enigmatic jinn.

Overall, "Jinn" is a must-see for fans of supernatural thrillers and Bangla mythology. It offers a unique and exciting take on a classic genre and is sure to keep viewers entertained from start to finish.

The Worst Horror movie of all time!
Moviefreak4940727 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I mean, why? What was the point of producing this? People at the theatre laughed as if they're watching Charlie Chaplin. A plot that nobody knows what's going on is 'complemented' by some amateur kinda' acting, with absurd VFX. A white donkey/horse/unicorn in the end (something that has four legs) shows the 'incredible' creativity (!) of the masterminds behind this film.

The biggest loser of this 'saga' (!) is the horror genre of bangladeshi film industry. Now, if someone makes a good horror film, who'd believe them? The promotional strategy was even worse, those social media posts made things worse.

It won't be justice if we expect Bangladeshi film to do like Hollywood or bollywood with limited resource. But at least we can expect some common sense, can't we?
