- TriviaIn his 2019 autobiography, "Baby Don't Hurt Me", Chris Kattan recounts how surprised and honored he felt when Adam McKay, one of the most respected writers on the staff at that time, offered to write a Mr. Peepers sketch for this show. It wasn't until after the broadcast that Kattan realized that McKay had written this sketch as a way to say farewell to the character, as a lot of the people on the show had grown tired of him. Despite of this, Mr. Peepers went on to make a further 8 appearances.

Weekend Update Anchor: According to a recent study published in New Choices magazine, the more household chores a husband does, the more likely his wife is to report having good sex. The article explains that when a man does a substantial amount of housework, it gives his wife some time to go out and find a real man to have sex with.
