George as a Child--Seven Minutes!
George is visited by an elderly lady, Bess, whom he calls his Aunt Bess. It seems that she was a friend of the family, not a blood relative. She and George reminisce but during the time she reveals that she wasn't just a friend; she was his father's mistress. We get to see George's amazement at his own cluelessness as we see flashbacks. Tom Poston plays the father. Young George already has the overalls and the plaid cap. The episode focuses primarily on modern George dealing with Bess and her brief (really brief) encounter with the dad. While this is going on, it comes to Dick's attention that Darryl number one is into chess. Dick plays a game with him but after he makes the first move, Darryl ponders it and sits puzzling over the board for a couple days. He becomes a fixture in the lobby. Pretty good effort.
