Near the end of the episode, Officer Chris Thormann refers to Steve Crosetti as having been his sergeant when the two were stationed in the Southern District. Crosetti is identified as a detective at all other times in the series.
The medical examiner tells rookie detective Bayliss that "you let them move the body too soon" and that he should have waited for her to take an internal body temperature at the murder scene. With so many other experienced detectives standing around the body that night, shouldn't one of them have caught this and prevented the body from being moved?
