- TriviaThe dog that plays adult Comet is also the dog that plays Air Bud.
- GoofsTony's parents Michael and Joyce Kagan are the same people with the same character names as in the "Misadventures in Babysitting" when DJ babysat Brian. Tony wasn't in that one, and Brian isn't in this one.

Not Too Bad. Pretty Common.
Remember the brat DJ babysat? Well he is nowhere to be seen as his parents leave his baby brother Tony with the Tanner for a night. This plot inconsistency is hilarious and always sticks out.
So the only one in the family who has any luck with Tony is Jesse. And it works out great since Danny has to take Comet to obedience school and Joey helps DJ with her algebra homework (who winds up doing the whole thing himself without the smarmy DJ doing her own schoolwork). Jesse is initially reluctant to handling another baby that's not in the family, but grows to care. Michelle, only 3, is jealous of the new affection Jesse is showing towards Tony. Michelle may be a spoiled brat, but I can't blame her for being jealous. That is a perfectly normal reaction. I remember being around that age and jealous when my parent would be nice towards someone younger than me. I couldn't help but feel for Michelle. To reward her for acting like a big girl, she is bribed and chooses Mr. Bear. Finally Danny suggests a talk. The talk was a beautiful solve for the finale.
So this episode does not have much aside from cuteness and reliability. Nice little episode.
