Not Too Bad.
I disagree with a few things in this episode. But for some reason, it find it appealing enough for a thumbs up.
Joey has to back out of volunteer week and pre school and Michelle out-cutes Jesse into taking his place. Everything if fine his first few minutes. Well not really, his hatred of the whole thing if funny. The big problem the whole time is bully Aaron Bailey. Aaron is the meanest cast member who somehow stays Michelle's frenemy throughout the series. This episode is the first to chow his cruelty. He insults Jesse, takes Michelle's musical instrument and then take her cookie Jesse was passing out. Jesse says to do it back. Aaron pinches Michelle, she pinches backhand the teacher breaks them up. Jesse makes some good points to the teacher when she puts them in a time out, but does overreact when he pulls her out of school. Aaron shouldn't have gotten away with taking Michelle's cookie and pinching her. At the same time, I agree with "no hand on". Later on, Michelle pinches a freaked out Stephanie for taking her lamp because of Kimmy's weird astrological predictions. The pinch to Stephanie causes Jesse to have a change of heart and explain what the episode was getting at: use your words. A little quick to close and not much sense being made with Jesse's decision (see GOOFS), but whatever.
