Storyline
Did you know
- TriviaJohny Voners (Xavier Waterslaeghers) dislocated his shoulder after diving to a ball. This happened while shooting the warming-up scene from 'De Nieuwe Truitjes'. In the actual scene he doesn't dive and Pico "advises" Xavier to dive then says, teasing: "If you're scared of that bit of water then you'll look great against De Spuiters".
- Goofs(at 06:50-06:55 mins) As Oscar chalks the sideline, he gets pissed off due to Pico's antics. When he angrily kicks the ball through Dimitri's window, Dimitri rages. They flee the scene, rushing to the cafe. When the camera follows Oscar with the marking truck as he flees, it should be noted that the product had been "pre-marked" on the grass before Oscar fled. The traces left by the marking truck were there before.
- Quotes
Oscar: [the team of the fire department no-shows] Don't worry, the fire brigade team are bottom of the table. They won't forfeit a game.
[Marc looks at the league table on the wall]
Marc: That's weird. The fire brigade team, don't they win the league every season?
Balthasar "the Ball" Boma: They're leading now, too. Oscar can't bear to see the Kampioenen bottom of the table, so he hung up the league table backwards. Like in Heaven. 'The last shall be first'. He's as crazy as can be.
- Crazy credits"THE ORIGINALS" message appears in a framework at the start of each intro with theme song from De nieuwe truitjes (1990) to Love Story (1993), to honor the titles with Carry Goossens (Oscar) in the lead and Walter Michiels (Pico) co-starring. This has been the case for all re-runs and DVD and Blue-ray releases since the 2010s.
