- TriviaDonnie's final stop in his search for take-out duck is Bucket o' Duck, which looks for all the world like the Kentucky Fried Chicken "architecture" of the early 2000s. That's because it is, in fact, a KFC which has been considerably made-over, complete with building-wide "Bucket o' Duck" signs and a huge, prosthetic duck head covering the rotating bucket above the parking lot. The restaurant is at the corner of West Pico Boulevard and Patricia Avenue in West Los Angeles, California, USA. Observant viewers will note that the street signs have been changed along with the decoration of the restaurant. The Pico Blvd. sign appears as "203 St." and the Patricia Avenue sign becomes "Steven's", which, with the unfortunate addition of an apostrophe, is misspelled: it's obviously a reference to the family name of the series title, which is "Stevens".
- GoofsEileen's dinner for the Lieutenant Governor and his wife was supposed to feature Chef Pierre's canard (duck) specialty, but the kids offend Pierre and he leaves. Donnie takes the Lieutenant Governor's wife's Lamborghini (his own beat-up VW won't start), and goes looking for take-out duck. As he frantically searches the neighborhood, restaurant after restaurant has some variation of a "No Duck" sign in its window. Finally, he drives up in front of Duck & Donuts (get the pun?) which has a most welcome "Plenty of Duck" sign posted. Women flock around Donnie, or rather the Lambo he is driving, and by the time he comes up for air (so to speak), the sign has changed to "We Are Totally Out of Duck". The problem is that in the last long shot before the close-up in which the restaurant employee changes the sign from inside, the sign seen behind Donnie and the women and the Lambo has already been changed.
