This is Great

If you've never seen this special, I recommend watching it. It can be a very basic concept, an orphan wanting to find a family, but it's more than just that. There's a lot of other characters, both humans and toys, that make different contributions to the story. They put much in this short special, but the end result is pretty good. I'm not sure how else to review this movie than by saying that it's great. Such a simple thing with various characters all wanting something better with their lives. Some parts may not be realistic in the end, but it's hard to worry about that in a lot of different movies and specials. I hope that you can see it because I like it and I don't know why others wouldn't.

A profound pleasant Christmas story, seductive for dialogues and for touching unrealism of situations , for fair reflection of childhood and for wise remind of value of wishes , in this case , a little girl and a doll changing their condition grace to the intensity of desire.

An orphan girl, the help of a guy for change her life, a toy shop boss and his apprentice, a doll and a bad owl, a policeman and his wife, both desiring become parents.

And a small town wishing Welcome to the little girl for a mistake.

Nothing special but profound nice and moving, as fair remind of significance of Christmas and the essence of miracles.

A little odd

In this brief cartoon Christmas special, a young orphan girl wants a family for Christmas. She's alone and traveling, which is scary for any youngster, but when she gets off the bus at the wrong stop, she feels even more alone and scared. She wanders around in a strange city, hoping to find a family in time for Christmas.

Although I watched this "Holly and Ivy" cartoon year after year as a kid, it was never my favorite. Perhaps it was my sensitive nature, but I was always scared for her. What if she got kidnapped or injured? And I also found the main plot point confusing. Why would she continually seek a grandmother rather than a mother? It seemed a little odd that she'd look into people's windows as they enjoyed Christmas preparations, trying to find an old lady who might want to take her in. However, if you think the plot sounds charming and heartwarming, you can give it a shot. It's only a half-hour, so it won't take up too much of your time if you don't end up liking it.
