Here is quite a strong tale of Western love and villainy. Tom's rival, the father of an illegitimate child, tries to throw suspicion on him, by leaving the baby at the girl's house. Later, scenes are taken at the reservoir, where Tom has charge of important construction work. His discovery of the burning fuse and stopping of the leak are well carried out. The girl finally discovers the evil work of Tom's rival and exposes him. A good offering. - The Moving Picture World, July 12, 1913
