Awesome little chiller babysitters should NOT watch!!

Warning: Spoilers
I am acquainted with the director and writer of this short film but I am not biased as I've never actually met them. BUT, having said that, after seeing this scary, weird little film about a babysitting job that goes horribly wrong, I hope Adam Wingard and E.L. Katz just keep making horror films. Lisa (Maggie Henry) accepts a babysitting job from the Andrews family, first-time clients for her, and upon arriving, Mr. Andrews (Jonathan Thornton) immediately gives her what looks like a LONG list of instructions for dealing with "the little one". He then goes to get his wife for their night out and brings back the creepiest woman I have ever seen, played by Jennifer Price. It is obvious something is VERY wrong with this poor woman and as Mr. Andrews is getting his wife's purse, Mrs. Andrews whispers to Lisa the cryptic and chilling words, "Kill it". Now on her own, Lisa goes to check out "the little one" only to discover a crib with a doll in it. She calls her boyfriend, Ross (L.C. Holt) and he tells her to just "go with it" as long as she gets paid. What Lisa didn't notice as she went to the nursery was another door with the lock on the OUTSIDE and the door knob removed. Lisa follows the instructions for bathing "the little one" and singing it to sleep but then has had enough of this nonsense and puts the doll back in the crib and goes downstairs to watch TV. When she turns it on, the volume is set extremely high and a horrific noise comes from upstairs. As she turns the set off, her cell phone rings and it is Ross telling her that the doll might not be "the little one" but a toy for it. And then the horror really begins. For a 25 minute film, I know I had nightmares, having been a babysitter once. I don't know how available this short film from Synapse is but Wingard and Katz have a feature film coming out in October of 2005 called "Home Sick" starring Bill Moseley, Tiffany Shepis and Tom Towles which should be equally disturbing. Watch for it!!!
