Reno, a second-rate gangster and his friend Alex, a choppy taxi driver, give a new definition to the phrase "horse race" in this low-key comedy drama, as they travel to Lapland, in the north of Finland, to pursue their horse racing dreams.
Réno, an unscrupulous punter, purchases a promising racing horse. To this purpose, he borrows from two petty gangsters. But unable to repay his creditors, he decides to escape from them by joining a friend in the North of Finland, where he will be able to enter Capone in a local Grand Prix.
