The cast for The Fantastic Four has been made public by Marvel, with Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Venessa Kirby as Susan Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm. Marvel announced this with quite some fanfare on Valentine’s Day 2024, with an image depicting the ‘family’ indoors, wearing their costumes.

Among the many details that were released in the picture, was the fact that Ben Grimm was reading a magazine. It appeared to have a cover that looked exactly like that of Life magazine on the day Lyndon B Johnson took over as the President of the United States after the assassination of John F. Kennedy. This confirmed one thing: The Fantastic Four film will be taking place in the 1960s.

Ebon Moss-Bachrach is cast as Marvel’s new Ben Grimm / The Thing in the upcoming film, The Fantastic Four. Before The Bear actor was tasked with the role in the MCU, Michael Bailey Smith, Carl Ciarfalio, Michael Chiklis, and Jamie Bell played the role in earlier live-action movies. However, Marvel did one thing right with Moss-Bachrach’s casting from the earlier iterations, as they appropriately cast a Jewish actor in the role.
The Bear actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach is cast as Ben Grimm / The Thing in the MCU’s The Fantastic Four
In Marvel Comics, Benjamin Grimm is Jewish and first revealed his identity in an emotional moment. Jack Kirby, who created the character, modeled Ben after himself and named him after his father Benjamin Kurtzberg.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a whirlwind of excitement lately, with news and rumors swirling around the highly anticipated Fantastic Four reboot. We were informed of its revised release date and casting news yesterday, Valentine’s Day. Fans are delighted with Pedro Pascal’s casting in the film, but disturbing reports have surfaced regarding Doctor Doom and Silver Surfer’s appearances.
The Og Silver Surfer’s MCU debut is reportedly not happening in the upcoming The Fantastic Four, despite earlier rumors to the contrary. Galactus will still appear in the film, and the character will at least have another herald. Recent reports suggest that Galactus and, more intriguingly, a female Silver Surfer could play antagonistic roles in the movie.
Doctor Doom, the Fantastic Four’s arch-nemesis, is also an important figure in their universe, but his appearance in the MCU is uncertain, according to recent reports.

This Star Wars: The Mandalorian article contains spoilers.
From the very beginning, Boba Fett has inspired The Mandalorian. Showrunner Jon Favreau’s “toy box” approach pitched protagonist Din Djarin as a Boba Fett-like figure, and although the two are quite different in terms of personality and history, the iconic silhouette of the space western gunslinger is very similar.
But now Boba Fett himself is back in The Mandalorian season 2, played by none other than Temuera Morrison in a very brief cameo. At the very end of the season 2 premiere “The Marshal,” we find Boba watching from a hill as Mando rides off with his old armor, a scowl on the old bounty hunter’s face that would silence a krayt dragon. With all the Mandalorian history and bounty hunting on the show, it was only a matter of time before we finally got to see Boba in the flesh!

Gisele Bündchen isn't wasting any time introducing her newborn to Brazilian culture. Baby Benjamin, her 3-month-old son with husband Tom Brady, 32, is currently on his first international trip, visiting mom's homeland for the next week. The supermodel, 29, landed in São Paulo Tuesday for a series of public appearances for her brand of flip-flops and Pantene - she’s the Brazilian spokesperson - and her twin sister Patricia's wedding in the coastal town of Porto Allegre over the weekend. And although she's getting back to work, the supermodel has been clear that her main focus nowadays is her son. "My life now is 24/7 dedicated to him,...

Only weeks after giving birth to baby Benjamin, Gisele Bündchen is already back to work - and looking hot as ever. On Jan. 25, the supermodel was shooting a campaign for Brazilian fashion label Colicci in Boston, where she was visited by a reporter from Brazilian magazine Fantástico, who reported the new mom looked radiant, beautiful and as "in shape as always, six weeks after the birth of her baby." She's also not shy about discussing baby Benjamin, her son with husband Tom Brady, who was born Dec. 8. In the interview, Bündchen dispels reports that she went into labor and was taken to a Boston-area hospital.
