Featured review
This Voice of Hollywood short was partly amusing because of a brief Buster Keaton appearance
In the trivia section of this title entry, IMDb mentions that the UK version of this short has a different cast than the one listed here. It's possibly the UK one I just watched on the "Industrial Strength Keaton" DVD collection. It has-besides the other version's host Robert Woolsey and Keaton-Gwen Lee, Lew Cody, Cliff Edwards ("alias Ukelele Ike" says Woolsey), and Raquel Torres. Nothing funny until Buster says a line to Raquel about a lion and then we see what happens when the caged animal roars. Edwards-best known as the voice of Jimminy Cricket on Walt Disney's Pinocchio-plays his instrument and sings in a falsetto to that lion. And Lee and Cody comment on their previous animal pictures. Like I said, nothing special but worth a look for Keaton enthusiasts.
