Stars: Julia Nagano, Yuichi Nakamura, Kohshu Kirano, Shun Nishime, Kanon Miyahara | Written by Junichiro Ashiki | Directed by Kôichi Sakamoto
With a title like Ninja vs Shark you might think this is another Mark Polonia film along the lines of Sharkula or Shark Encounters of the Third Kind. Or maybe one of the more bizarre Chinese kaiju films such as Land Shark. But you’d be wrong, it’s actually a Japanese film written by Junichiro Ashiki and directed by Kôichi Sakamoto.
During Japan’s Edo Period, Sayo, a pearl diver from the village of Okitsu, swims back to shore only to find the remains of one of her fellow divers washed up on the beach. This has been happening a lot since Lord Koshiro Mizuchi of the Crimson Devil Clan demanded the villagers hand over their pearls to him. When they refused he used sorcery to turn the sharks into living weapons.

Taylor Lautner is recalling how he was almost recast as Jacob Black after the first Twilight movie.
If you didn’t know, the 31-year-old actor nearly lost his role due to how small and slim he was in the first film, and his character goes through a major physical transformation between the first and second books/movies.
In a new interview, Taylor opened up about how he had to re-audition for the role, how Kristen Stewart helped him get the role again, just how close to filming he found how he re-booked it, and who pushed him to start his physical transformation early.
Keep reading to find out more…
“The first time I had heard of [being recast] was shortly after the first movie came out, but I knew that if the first movie did well, they were going to want to start filming the second movie pretty shortly after, like at...

Fans of classic film noir movies will not be disappointed in Cut To The Chase.
In the style of pessimism, fatalism, intrigue and plenty of twist and turns, director-actor Blayne Weaver’s Cut To The Chase delivers a fascinating film about a man who enters the underworld of Louisiana in order to search for his missing sister while being pursued by a notorious crime boss.
The film stares Weaver in the title role. Lance Henriksen (Aliens), Lyndie Greenwood (Sleepy Hollow) and Erin Cahill (Power Rangers Time Force) also star in the film.
The film opens theatrically nationwide on February 28 and will be available on VOD/Digital download on March 7. A DVD release is set in August.
Lrm was granted the video to announce exclusively the behind the scenes interview with the lovely actress Erin Cahill. She talks about her role and experience in Cut To The Chase.

Although she may not be the most well-known name in Tomorrowland, here at Digital Spy we think Britt Robertson is a star in the making.
With Disney's Tomorrowland opening in cinemas across the country today (May 22), here are 11 facts about the actress which you perhaps didn't know.
1. Britt comes from a Big family.
Brittany Leanna Robertson is the oldest of seven children - talk about sibling rivalries! With three half-siblings on her mum's side and three on her dad's side, growing up in the Robertson family sounds like it could have been quite hectic. No wonder Britt moved out at 14, to search for her fame in Hollywood.
2. She acts way younger than her age.
Pardon the cliché, but in Tomorrowland, Britt literally does act younger than her age, playing a 15-year-old character despite actually being 25.
Speaking about the drastic age difference, she said: "If I can play 15 when I am...

If you, like me, enjoyed darting about the living room with fists clenched and the undeniable idea that I was an impeccable ninja-like warrior, you were either about to be diagnosed with Adhd or a huge Power Rangers fan (just to clarify, I was the latter).
I was the red ranger, the self-elected leader of the group that would no doubt save my fellow rangers in any time of need. I could jump from sofa to sofa whilst fending of villains in every direction. I could morph at any time of the day, hiding my morpher when out in public in case I was spotted by Rita or Lord Zed.
Waking up at 6am and sprinting to the living room to take advantage of the new invention that was satellite television, I would find myself beaming from ear to ear for all of 30secs as the iconic opening theme tune played out,...
