Well-made evocation of the musings of a young man
Havan_IronOak2 March 2003
With its long panning shots of a boy's locker room and the pensive musings of the young narrator, this film reminds the viewer of the work of Bruce Weber. It seems part Abercrombie and Fitch ad, part Calvin Klein Obsession ad, part the aspirations of a typical Belgian youth.

For millennia artists have seen and sought to capture the beauty and promise of the soon-to-be-mature male. In this short, the filmmaker does the same and is quite successful.

There is nothing terribly new here, but what is here is promise. Not only in the subjects but also in the filmmaker.
