Sex & Nudity
-
- Nudity: None
- Frequent mild innuendo. A British officer sleeps with several women in his office but it's only implied. Nothing is shown. A missionary is shown on a bed with an Indian woman while she kisses him. While in disguise as Indians, British officers are shown kissing women and groping their thighs. Some women are shown in skimpy outfits throughout the film showing some cleavage and thigh. There is never any real nudity.
Violence & Gore
-
- British soldiers are shown massacred on a field with spears sticking in them. A soldier is shown running around with a spear in his back in a couple of scenes. In the climatic battle, occasionally someone is shot, and dead bodies are shown on the ground. There is never any brutality or blood though. Any violence or weapons shown sticking in someone is either very tame or played purely for laughs.
Profanity
-
- No profanity but the word 'fuck' is implied (in true Carry on style) in one scene when Bernard Bresslaw tells the magician Fakir to go ("Fakir... Off!")
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- Smoking: None
- A few characters are shown drinking wine during dinner, and one man is shown drinking from the bottle.
