Kailyn Lowry might just walk out of counseling on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.
The MTV star threatened to leave the program in an exclusive clip of Friday’s episode after finding out the results of her ex-husband Javi Marroquin‘s lie detector test, which might indicate he had been unfaithful to her during their marriage.
The two share a 4-year-old son, Lincoln.
The results left Lowry speechless and livid, as Marroquin had long accused her of her own infidelity. Dr. Ish attempted to calm her, but Lowry wasn’t having it.

Taylor Swift doesn’t give a damn about her bad reputation. Or does she?
On her sixth studio album, Reputation, the Grammy winner, 27, plays with perception. Since rising to fame in 2006, Swift’s knack for super-personal storytelling has been a blessing and a curse. She’s one of the best-selling female artists of all-time. But she’s also fallen prey to the pitfalls of fame and, in recent years, has become as well-known for the headlines she makes as the music she releases.
And it’s her experience with fame — and how it’s influenced her reputation — that fuels her latest LP.

Last Week’S Tweets: Is The World Going to Hell Because ‘Hannibal’ Got Canceled?
One fascinating aspect of today’s media landscape is that many creators and executive producers enjoy using Twitter to engage with their audiences, share behind-the-scenes information about their shows, chat about politics, and otherwise communicate about what matters to them. So, each week, we’ll compile some of our favorite exchanges representing the wide variety of discourse seen on social media.
This week, we get unique insight into the relationships between two showrunners and their mothers, Loren Bouchard shares an unreleased “Bob’s Burgers” song, and more.

If you do, you will get just a taste of how insane the parties at “Saturday Night Live” can apparently be.

Controversial producer Jon Peters suggests he made tens of millions on Man of Steel while Christopher Nolan banned him from the set.
Jon Peters has had one of the most infamous and oddly-inspiring rises to power in Hollywood history. Once a hair-dresser bad boy who was supposedly the inspiration for Warren Beatty’s Shampoo, Peters somehow found himself as Barbara Streisand’s lover/producer on the A Star Is Born remake, and then a well-regarded producer who, along with Peter Guber, presided over classic 1980s blockbusters like Batman, Flashdance, and An American Werewolf In London. He also was the first guy to attempt to 'reboot' Superman before that jargon existed in the 1990s… mind you, his idea was to have Nicolas Cage with flowing locks to star in it while fighting a giant spider, but you know… he was still first.

I’ll be honest – I’d love be able to say that I hate Justin Bieber’s new album. Trust me, I’m not doing any favors for my street cred by praising the fourth studio album of a troubled pop star who breathed new life into his mangled public image by jumping on the Edm bandwagon at the phenomenon’s most decadent height. Nonetheless, I have to call it like I see it – and even though Purpose is undeniably a pop effort, it’s just plain sincere.
Bass music icon Skrillex was famously credited with producing the bulk of the album, and similar to most pop music, the songwriting process was immensely collaborative – with hitmakers like Ed Sheeran, Blood and Poo Bear credited on nearly every track. I’ve written endlessly about how much I hated Bieber’s first Skrillex collaboration (Jack Ü’s “Where Are Ü Now”), and...

Music and Sex: Scenes from a life - A novel in progress (first chapter here).
As 1980 got going, Walter was distracted from Janie’s absence by progress on the band front. Garrick had found an electric guitarist, Tom O’Reilly. Though still lacking bass and drums, they decided to try putting together some new songs and practicing some covers -- because as TomO (as he styled himself) pointed out pragmatically, a good set of rockin’ covers would get them gigs at the frats that lined the south side of 114th St. Over a round of beers at the Marlin, a brightly lit bar that had less visual flair than a high school cafeteria, but the cheapest beer near campus, they decided to take turns suggesting covers.
Walter led off: "For Your Love." He liked it because of its harpsichord riff.
"Fuck that!" blurted TomO. "I was told we'd be covering Nuggets-type songs.

Everyone knows that Survivor is a highly edited show.
Over a period of three days, multiple cameras film between 300-500 hours of footage. Then, a team of editors boil all that footage down to one 44-minute episode.
Dan Foley, the latest contestant voted off the island, says he watched the first two episodes and realized that he was going to get a villain's edit. But even he seems surprised at how negatively he was portrayed – and how vitriolic the viewer response has been.
So what did we miss? Foley, a 47-year-old postal worker from Maine, was happy to tell us.

Andrew Garfield's debut hosting Saturday Night Live was full of the expected references to his freshly-opened blockbuster, The Amazing Spiderman 2, including a few cameos from costar Emma Stone. But one of the funniest sketches played off the affable Brit's unlikely action-hero status with a trailer for "The Beygency," a thriller where Garfield finds himself on the run from shadowy forces after admitting that he doesn't especially like Beyonce's song "Drunk in Love." A 16-year-old girl stands before an Iranian judge, pleading for a divorce from her 38-year-old husband. The judge and the husband swat away her arguments: She's too young to be married! "A girl can reach puberty at nine, and then she can be married," declaims the judge. Her future has been ruined — she must go back to school! "Mine too," the husband says. "My reputation has been damaged!"
The husband will not consent to a divorce. Iranian law says that he must if one is to be granted, except in cases where the husband is proven insane, unfaithful, or abusive, and, often, not even then. So, the young woman does what she must. She files a complaint accusing him of causing her "bruises and bodily harm," and tells the judge that witnesses will attest he once tried to set he...

As a child of the 1980s, I was practically raised on Nightmare on Elm Street movies. I saw my first one, Dream Master, at age eight, when my friend’s parents weren’t home. I was hooked. Nancy Thompson was the epitome of the strong, smart teenager, a character which was not portrayed often enough in films (and still isn’t), so it was no surprise that I looked up to Nancy and the actress who portrayed her, Heather Langenkamp. What did surprise me was hearing how she never felt like she was “famous!”
It was my honor to chat with Heather about the epic, four-hour documentary Never Sleep Again, which explores every single entry into the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. In addition to starring in the documentary and doing the voice over, Heather was an executive producer on the project. We spoke about gathering players from the Nightmare universe to participate,...

He said: "I wasn't happy about that. But for whatever reason that it changed, it did."
The former boxer said that when he found out Lee and Casey would be choosing, he knew there was a chance he'd be leaving.
"Everybody knew coming in here who is the most popular person. And when you talk about 'popular person', you're talking about what a person has already done.

Above: Us poster for Forbidden (Frank Capra, USA, 1932)
In honor of the month-long retrospective of the films of the great Barbara Stanwyck starting today at Film Forum in New York, I thought I’d select my favorite Stanwyck posters. Brooklyn-born Ruby Catherine Stevens made 85 films over 37 years in Hollywood so there is an awful lot to choose from. But the remarkable thing about looking back at these posters is how artists seemed to have had a hard time capturing her likeness. The poster for one of her earliest films, Capra’s 1932 Forbidden, above, captures her beautifully, but the poster for Stella Dallas (1937), her first Oscar-nominated role (she never won, shockingly), seems to be of a different actress entirely. As for the sexed-up illustration on the flyer for The Bitter Tea of General Yen (1933), in that she looks more like Jean Harlow. Some of my favorite posters for her films are the Swedish and Danish designs,...

“My reputation was destroyed and my self-esteem eroded,” Geneviève Sabourin tells Huffington Post Québec as she kicks off a media blitz.
The 40-year-old actress from Quebec was arrested April 8th in front of American actor Alec Baldwin’s luxurious home in New York. She now faces five charges, including two for aggravated harassment. Sabourin met the '30 Rock' star about ten years ago on the set of 'The Adventures of Pluto Nash,' where she worked as a publicist.
Sabourin asserts she then begun a romantic relationship with Baldwin. In the indictment filed after her arrest last spring, U.S. prosecutors claim that Sabourin sent a series of emails to the actor, begging him to marry her. After a failed attempt to settle the case out of court, she will stand trial starting November 27th.

It's often said that the only certainties in life are death and taxes. But you can add "rehashing of the O.J. Simpson case" to that list -- at least for the last 18 years
So it should come as no surprise that a new book has been published about the 1994 murders of Simpson's ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman.
In 1995, a California jury acquitted O.J. Simpson of the killings. A civil lawsuit, later filed by the victims' families, resulted in a 1997 judgment finding Simpson liable for the deaths and ordering him to pay $33.5 million in damages.
The latest installment in the Simpson library is not another "If I Did It," in which the former gridiron great speculated on how he might have killed his former wife. Instead, the new book points the finger of guilt away from Simpson and lays the blame on his son, Jason Simpson.

Avatar director James Cameron has a certain stigma. Some call him a jerk, others call him a slang term used for genitalia. I call him “El Fantastique.” The director of The Terminator, Terminator 2, Aliens and Titanic knows all this and realizes he’s not the easiest person to get along with on set.
“My reputation probably was deserved at one point. I don’t think there is anybody who has worked with me, even now, who would describe me as mellow,” says Cameron. “But I do tend to work with the same people over and over. They’re either the dumbest, most masochistic people or there is a lot of exaggeration going on.”
When talking about the hyped 3D film Avatar, the director gushed: “We all deeply care that Avatar is well received,” he explained. “But even if it isn’t, I don’t think we will have wasted four years of work.

The Day Ferris Bueller Ruined My Life…Well, My Lunch Anyway

I am the Sausage King of Chicago. People have been known to brawl for my bratwurst, kick for my kielbasa and rock-n-sock for my knackwurst. And in this great city of Chicago, I am essentially the Ryne Sandberg of salami.
My reputation and fame allows me plenty of opportunities. From throwing out the first pitch at a Little League game, to hitting the “start” button on the Ferris wheel at Navy Pier, I am adored everywhere I go.
So needless to say, when arriving one afternoon at the Chez Quis restaurant, I was offended beyond belief to be told not only was my reservation already fulfilled, but that I was nothing more than an imposter who smelled like chorizo. I won’t lie; it hurt.
