Some Helldivers 2 players are finding the current Major Order quite tricky as this one cannot be completed by dropping Eagle 500Kg bombs. Super Earth is carrying out Operation “Enduring Peace” to wipe out a Terminid Supercolony residing on the Meridia planet of the Umlaut Sector.
Players have been ordered to completely destroy Meridia by injecting Dark Fluid into the planet’s core. The missions instruct players to use a drill to inject the Dark Fluid while they have to fight off all Terminid forces that are trying to destroy it, however, it is tougher than one could imagine because these drills are quite fragile.
A still from Helldivers 2 (via Arrowhead Game Studios)
Players have been raging because it is very easy to accidentally take out the drill using your own Stratagems. As a result, the community has been requesting the players to stop using Stratagems that cause destruction, particularly the A/M-12 Mortar Sentry.

Tom Burke says he requested media training from the BBC to help him handle questions about J.K Rowling’s strident views on transgender rights.
Burke is currently on the publicity trail for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, but he has recently filmed Season 6 of BBC/HBO series Strike, which Rowling pens under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.
The actor told The Independent that he asked for media training ahead of an interview with the publication, during which he was careful to remain neutral on the trans debate.
“I’ll preface all this by saying, what I want for that situation is for it to mend,” he said. “I want those disparate groups to find resolution. I don’t want to say anything in the wrong context, or at the wrong time, which is going to make the situation worse, because it’s not nice, right? There’s so much antipathy going on.

This article contains Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga spoilers.
Furiosa’s world is not a romantic place. George Miller’s post-apocalyptic Wasteland is barely habitable and fit for the toughest of survivors only. The young Furiosa (Alyla Browne) must learn this fast in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga when she is snatched from her idyllic home. Her mother tries desperately to rescue her and very nearly manages but instead is caught, tortured, and killed by Dementusm (Chris Hemsworth) and his men in front of her daughter. Dementus wants to know where Furiosa’s home is. But Furiosa knows she can’t tell him, even if it means watching the person she loves most in the world burned, maimed, and murdered. That is what love gets you: vulnerability and pain. And so the young Furiosa becomes the property of Dementus, and is later bartered to Immortan Joe (Lachy Hulme) who...

Although we all hear about the miracle stories of celebrities who get noticed and go on to have extremely successful careers, there are many actors who aren't lucky enough to get the same treatment. Sometimes it's a matter of talent, and sometimes they just don't meet the standards of many roles.
Either way, the older the actors are, the more effort they have put into their careers over the years. Sometimes it takes a couple of decades to get the role of your dreams, and that is what happened to Baby Reindeer star Jessica Gunning, who is now known to the whole world.
Who Is Baby Reindeer’s Jessica Gunning?
Jessica Gunning's portrayal of Martha Scott, Gadd's cold and resourceful stalker, is now familiar to anyone who has watched the thriller. As the show has been at the top of Netflix for weeks, the number of people raving about her...

The Helldivers 2 community over the past week has shown what the players are capable of achieving if they come together and decide to appeal against something they don’t like. Making a giant studio like Sony back off from one of their decisions is no small deal, and to commemorate the same, every gamer has been celebrating ever since, with some even calling the negative review bombing a Stratagem.
Sony tried to introduce a Psn account linking mandate
While it is an unconventional method, it was the review bombing that ultimately helped the players achieve the outcome they wanted. The damage control for all the images ruined for the game is also in the works already, as players return to Steam to change their ratings and bring back the game back on track.

Every day when we log on to Instagram, X (formerly known as Twitter), Reddit, or any other social media platform, we see hundreds of posts obsessing over a celebrity. While it's fine to praise an artist and share their work online, the moment the online fangirling ends and the offline stalking begins, it gets serious.
Baby Reindeer has impressed so many viewers with its realistic portrayal of the horrors associated with stalking. Both Richard Gadd, who wrote the show and actually experienced what his character goes through, and Jessica Gunning, who portrayed stalker Martha, have done a phenomenal job.
And if you are wondering where else you could have seen her performance, here are some of the most important pieces of Jessica Gunning's filmography.

Film Adaptation of J.K. Rowling Children’s Book ‘The Christmas Pig’ in Early Development (Exclusive)
J.K. Rowling’s bestselling children’s book “The Christmas Pig” is set to get a film adaptation.
Variety understands the project is in a very early stage of development in-house and a production company has not yet been attached.
Rowling’s production company Bronte already produces the BBC/HBO adaptation of her adult detective series “Cormoran Strike.”
“The Christmas Pig” was first published in 2021 with illustrations by Jim Field. At the time of publication, Swift Films made a series of promotional videos for the project.
The book tells the story of a boy named Jack, who loses his childhood toy Dur Pig — nicknamed Dp — on Christmas Eve after his stepsister throws it out of the family car. Although Jack is offered a replacement called Christmas Pig as consolation, he misses his old faithful friend and casts Christmas Pig (abbreviated to Cp) aside.
To cheer Jack up, Cp proposes a plan to rescue his best toy.

Drew Carey was able to collect his well-deserved attaboys Sunday at the Writers Guild Awards, where he told the crowd that he covered the bills at Bob’s Big Boy and Swingers for striking scribes last summer because “it’s the right thing to do.”
With a plate full of food in hand, the host of The Price is Right took the stage at the Hollywood Palladium to explain why he insisted on paying for so many meals — though he did acknowledge a brief period of shock and awe when the bills started arriving.
“I didn’t know it was going to cost me so much money,” Carey told the crowd. “The last it was like, I think the total bill was like $67,000. I thought it was going to be about the same thing. But then some of you decided ‘oh yeah I’m going to a get a shake and some dessert....

J.K. Rowling is one of the world’s most renowned authors since she penned the Harry Potter series. Unfortunately, Rowling has long since left her magical world to take up arms against trans individuals, particularly trans women.
Violence against the trans community has been on the rise of late, mostly due to fear-mongering by prominent public figures. To combat such hate crimes, the Scottish government has come up with a law that would hold such people culpable. Rowling, unsurprisingly, is against it.

It was five months ago that Roy Wood Jr. announced he was leaving The Daily Show after serving as a correspondent at the show for eight years.
Arguably the show’s highest profile correspondent (he had just won rave reviews after hosting the White Correspondents Dinner earlier in 2023), Wood’s departure was yet another blow to The Daily Show following a year of instability that began with former host Trevor Noah’s own abrupt departure in late 2022. A parade of guest hosts followed, then came the Writers Strike, and then–we later learned–after producers told staffers that Comedy Central was finally moving ahead with a new host (Hasan Minhaj), that decision was reversed.
Now Wood is speaking out. In a candid new interview with fellow Daily Show alum Samantha Bee on her podcast Choice Words, Wood described his decision to leave in binary terms:

Robert Downey Jr. and the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been synonymous for over a decade. His portrayal of Iron Man not only brought him back into superstardom but also helped propel the MCU to unprecedented heights. However, despite his immense popularity and critical acclaim, Downey Jr. never received an Oscar nomination for his work in the superhero cast.

Kevin Atwater is the very definition of a person who walks around with the world's weight on his shoulders.
He typically carries it well enough, leading with a big heart, a soft voice, a gentle demeanor, and a smile.
While we typically recognize the positive attributes of what could be perceived as a hero and a martyr complex, Chicago Pd Season 11 Episode 5 explored the underbelly of that and highlighted its adverse effects.
Our boy, Kevin Atwater, took the robbery case personally, internalized every faction, and spent the entire hour beating himself up.
It's a good sign that Atwater could spend this entire case trying to ensure he made the right calls and was tormented over losing Corey.

While Aaron Korsh’s Suits concluded in 2019 after running for nine seasons on the USA Network, the show saw a resurgence after smashing viewership records last year following its debut on Netflix. Following this notable spike in its numbers that left fans craving for more, NBC has now greenlit the first spin-off to the original show, which will star Arrow actor Stephen Amell in the lead.

Deadpool 3 is inevitably one of the most anticipated projects of this year, if not this decade, and Ryan Reynolds’ fame is pretty much skyrocketing through the same even before the film’s release. Box Office – Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya does well in Week One (Photo Credit – Facebook)
Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya did well in its first week, as 47.18 crores came in. The film has managed to have stable weekdays where the drop from Monday (3.75 crores) to Thursday (3.06 crores) has been minimal, and in between, there was this big Wednesday (7.21 crores) that further buoyed collections. In fact, what was really remarkable was to see Wednesday’s numbers even bigger than Friday’s (7.02 crores), which really helped the overall week come out healthy.
What’s required now is the momentum to continue well into the second week as well. This should happen since, first and foremost, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has been finding its own audiences. Secondly, there is no other film which has been released today, which means the ground is wide open for the Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer to perform.

The last time TV audiences saw Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott – detective fiction’s reigning will-they-won’t-they king and queen – they were hugging outside a fancy perfume shop. The private investigators had solved Troubled Blood’s cold case, exposed a serial killer, and had time left over for some belated birthday shopping for the newly divorced Robin.
An almost-kiss between them turned into a heartfelt hug and Strike’s declaration that Robin was his best friend, leaving them still tantalisingly apart but ready for their next adventure.
That next adventure is now on its way, confirms Deadline and the BBC. Filming is currently underway on The Ink Black Heart, with Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger back in the lead roles, and Tom Edge back as the show’s screenwriter and creator.

Peak TV has finally peaked. At FX’s portion of the Television Critics Assn. press tour on Friday, chairman John Landgraf revealed his research team’s annual tally of adult original scripted series across U.S. broadcast, cable and streaming services. That number dropped to 516 in 2023, down 14% from a record 600 in 2022 — the most significant dip ever since FX started its tally more than two decades ago.
“The dual strikes undoubtedly played a role in this industry shift,” Landgraf acknowledged. But he went on to point out the new business realities of this maturing streaming age, as outlets temper their output.
“The drawdown of production was likely underway even before the strike shuttered all production,” he continued. “The realignment of industry priorities from streaming scale at any cost to profitability continued after the strikes, leading to the cancellation of numerous projects.”

A fresh set of actors are about to be enrolled in what the film series cast cheekily nicknamed ‘the Harry Potter Pension plan’. US streamer Max’s plan to re-adapt the Potter books into a TV show running for 10 consecutive years and starting in 2025/6 should keep the lucky new cast in greasepaint and copies of The Stage indefinitely.
But who will they be? Lead characters Harry, Ron and Hermione will almost certainly be played by unknowns, but the Hogwarts ensemble – Dumbledore, Snape, McGonagall, Hagrid and co. – will be picked from the current crop of British acting talent, just like their counterparts were over two decades ago. Who working today could follow in the footsteps of Sir Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman, Dame Maggie Smith, Robbie Coltrane and the rest?
While it’s too early for any solid cast news, there’s no harm in a bit of dream-casting at this point,...

There are few people the average person associates with The Exorcist brand more than Linda Blair. The visuals of her demonic form spitting up green vomit, spider-walking down the stairs, and her head spinning around are all the stuff of legend. So when The Exorcist: Believer (read our review Here) was announced as having Ellen Burstyn return in her original role of Chris MacNeil, the general consensus was: Where’s Blair?
I was very fortunate to sit down with Linda Blair to discuss all things Exorcist in anticipation of the film’s 50th anniversary. Linda is an absolute sweetheart and a highlight of talking to her was when she brought up how William Friedkin (lovingly referred to as “Billy”) would always call people whose name he didn’t know: JoBlo. I can only imagine what he thought when this site popped up in the 90s! But we, of course, got into all things Exorcist.

Here‘s our Most Anticipated TV Shows & Mini-Series of 2024 (The Strike-Affected Edition!) 2023’s WGA/SAG-AFTRA/AMPTP strikes were essentially the Covid-19 of 2020. While thankfully they weren’t as physically deadly, the work stoppage did significantly affect many people in the business and their financial stability. What ties them both together more closely is the disruption of content and product. With streamers are already cutting back, regressing on the streaming boom thanks to Wall Street’s reevaluation of their worth, and the strikes delaying a lot of shows for an entire year, the #AgeOfTooMuchContent might officially be coming to a close.

The six-month production shutdown due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes is officially over today, and TV studios are not wasting a minute, with TV series — mainly returning broadcast shows going into full prep immediately.
As Deadline reported Wednesday night, just minutes after the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike was announced after the actors guild and the studios reached a tentative agreement on a new contract, TV casts and crews started receiving notifications for tentative start dates in late November and early December.
Here is a running list of the TV series that will be leading the way in return to production. We will be updating it continuously as new production dates are set, including for series like Netflix’s Stranger Things, Max’s The Penguin, Welcome to Derry and Hacks and Paramount Network’s Yellowstone, which are expected to start filming very soon. All dates are tentative and subject to change.

President Joe Biden weighed in on the tentative agreement to resolve the SAG-AFTRA strike, pointing to it as an example of how “collective bargaining works.”
In a statement released by the White House this morning, Biden said, “I applaud SAG-AFTRA and Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers for working together in good faith towards an agreement that allows our entertainment industry to continue telling the stories of America.
Biden added, “When both sides come to the table to negotiate in earnest they can make businesses stronger and allow workers to secure pay and benefits that help them raise families and retire with dignity. Over the last three years, workers have won historic victories that ensure record pay, record benefits, and an economy that grows from the middle out and bottom up. Media stocks popped Thursday, well outperforming the broader market, after news that the months longs SAG-AFTRA strike has been settled, with the actors guild and the AMPTP announcing a agreement Wednesday night. Halted productions can soon look to restart, the theatrical release calendar can stop shifting and the industry begin to get back to normal after a tough summer and fall.

Actors are among those in Hollywood reacting to the tentative agreement reached between SAG-AFTRA and studios and streamers Wednesday.
The deal on a new three-year contract came after 118 days into the actor strike and after weeks of renewed negotiations. The strike will end at 12:01 a.m. Thursday as the deal goes to the union’s national board for approval Friday. If the deal is ratified, the contract could go into effect soon.
In a statement shared with members, SAG-AFTRA said of the agreement, “In a contract valued at over one billion dollars, we have achieved a deal of extraordinary scope that includes ‘above-pattern’ minimum compensation increases, unprecedented provisions for consent and compensation that will protect members from the threat of AI, and for the first time establishes a streaming participation bonus. SAG-AFTRA delivered its response Monday morning to the studios’ “last, best and final” offer, as Hollywood waits for a resolution to the 116-day actors strike.
In a message to members Monday afternoon, the union said it was working to end the strike “responsibly,” but that the two sides still have differences.
“There are several essential items on which we still do not have an agreement, including AI,” the union said. “We will keep you informed as events unfold.”
The union’s negotiating committee spent nearly 12 hours on Sunday crafting its response. Details were not yet forthcoming.
The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers indicated in a Zoom meeting on Saturday that its current offer is the best it can do, and that it will not negotiate further. The offer includes a success bonus for streaming shows, increases in minimum rates, and protections against artificial intelligence.

The last survey was run in May 2023, prior to the Hollywood strikes
The UK’s Film and TV Charity has launched a new financial resilience survey in the wake of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.
Previously run in May 2023, prior to the US actor and writers strikes, this survey aims to build a more updated picture of the financial circumstances of UK film and TV workers following the production slowdown.
The May 2023 survey found that 46% of respondents had less than £1,000 in savings while 50% weren’t contributing to a pension.
Workers in the Nations and under-represented groups are particularly encouraged to complete the survey.

“Will & Grace” star Eric McCormack appeared on Friday’s “Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon to promote his Broadway show, new British farce “The Cottage.” McCormack also talked about his podcast, “Just Jack & Will,” but he had to dance around getting too specific about the show he co-hosts with “Will & Grace” co-star Sean Hayes.
While unable to specifically talk about the show that the podcast talks about — “Will & Grace” — due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA actors strike, he was able to discuss the podcast itself.
“It’s about a show that I’m not going to talk about, out of respect for the strike we’re on, but they’ve allowed us to talk about the podcast,” McCormack clarified. “And it’s so much fun to be back with my old buddy Sean.”
McCormack explained that Hayes had pitched him doing a podcast about the show during lunch together.

By switching from Directv Stream, you would lose Disney Junior, Fxx, Hallmark Channel, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, VH1, and We tv.
Sling TV is also not a great choice if you need regional sports networks - they don’t have any.
One other complication: Sling TV doesn’t offer CBS, Telemundo, The CW or Univision.

Exclusive: The first splashy material sale coming after the end of the writer’s strike has an appropriate title.
Sony Pictures won a spirited weekend bidding battle for the Jack Follman short story It’s Over. The deal landed in the mid- to high-six-figure range, and it comes with Akela Cooper set to write the script. Her latest scripted release is the hit The Nun II, and she has made a habit of scripting genre hits from M3GAN to Malignant and Hell Fest. She’s scripted the sequel M3GAN 2.0, and in TV is co-executive producer of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
The film will be produced by Roy Lee’s Vertigo Entertainment alongside Scott Glassgold’s Ground Control. Verve held the auction with the bidders over the weekend.

Whether Yellowstone’s Monica wanted to get to know her father-in-law better, she sure did in Sunday’s double header. Observing John with grandson Tate, she even admitted, “You don’t seem like like the man from the stories I’ve heard” from Kayce. But by the end of episode No. 2, she had glimpsed the flip side of the coin as clearly she could see the stars over the Montana sky. Read on, and we’ll discuss not only why that was so bad but everything else that happened over the course of the latest Season 1 repeats.
