- When an average-looking teenage girl gets a makeover, it's enough to make her father become overprotective of her.
- A gruff bounty hunter travels back in time to 1980s Los Angeles to stop a twisted criminal who can transform people into zombie-like creatures.
- George Burns returns as God, and as Satan. They battle over the soul of a young rock star who is willing to sell his soul to the devil.
- Ryder Hart is a disgraced ex-cop who is now a low-rent private investigator. His estranged wife, Anita, runs the Sunset Grill, and is now involved with Jeff, a Police Detective who used to work with Ryder. When Anita is found brutally murdered, Ryder and Jeff team-up to find her killer. The case appears to be related to an immigrant who worked at the Sunset Grill, and an old friend of Ryder's named Guillermo. During their investigation, Ryder and Jeff meet Harrison Shelgrove, a wealthy industrialist who owns a gun club. Loren, an employee at the club, seems to take an unusual amount of interest in Ryder. As Ryder gets closer to the truth, he begins to suspect that a crooked I.N.S. Agent, Stockton, may know something about the case. What began as a search for the murderer of his wife, has lead Ryder into a mystery involving illegal immigrants in Los Angeles.
- A witness (Linda Purl) is terrorized by the killer (Billy Drago) against whom she testified.
- From 1977 to 1981, multimedia artist Stephen Seemayer shot a Super-8mm movie of his creative friends in their unnatural habitat: the deserted industrial and commercial buildings of Downtown Los Angeles. His camera captured them at work and at play, discussing art and what it meant to share the mean streets with those less fortunate. A rough cut of 'Young Turks' was screened in 1981 and never seen again. Newly digitized and fully reedited with additional footage, the film is a remarkable document of L.A.'s urban core at a crossroads... when rent was cheap and 'loft living' was more than just an advertising slogan.
- While Vaughn's life hangs in the balance, Lauren butts heads with Sydney after learning the part she played in his stabbing. Meanwhile, Sydney further questions Sloane's allegiances after he is kidnapped by Kazari Bomani, a kingpin in The Covenant. Jack's cover is jeopardized when he meets with Simon to dig up information on Sydney's missing two years. Also, Marshall is sent on his second mission with Sydney, posing as a high-stakes, southern-accented gambler.
- When Amanda's car gets busted Lee lends her an expensive car which has unexpected value.
