Dutch actor Marcel Hensema graduated at the prestigious Maastricht theatre academy, generally considered one of the best drama academies in Europe. Hensema speaks five languages (English, Dutch, German, Italian and Spanish) and is one of Holland's most acclaimed actors.
Hensema worked on over 70 films and television productions in his native The Netherlands and abroad. On the big screen, he played leading roles in many award-winning films and TV series. For his role in Wild Romance (2006), he won the Golden Calf for Best Actor (Dutch equivalent of the Bafta). In 2014 he was again nominated Best Actor for his lead role in the award-winning TV-series Hollands hoop (2014) and in 2015 for his role in the multiple award-winning movie Bloed, zweet & tranen (2015) and he won the coveted prize again for his supporting role in 'In My Father's Garden'.
He alternates effortlessly between genres in film, television and theatre, and is often described as a chameleonic actor with many faces.- Director

Saskia Diesing (1972) lived in Germany until she was 8 years old. Then she moved to the Netherlands. After her graduation as a filmmaker at School of the Arts Utrecht (HKU) in 1996 she worked for seven years at the Dutch broadcast VPRO as a director and editor in chief for several television programs. In 2003 she directed DU a double language road movie, which was selected for the IFFR, Input festival and the Prix Europa. After that she has directed and written several shorts and TV-movies. Her first feature Nena was released in September 2014 and won the Golden Calf in the category best actress and best director at the NFF in 2015. The film was selected for several international film festivals and the Generation 14+ program at the Berlinale 2015 where the film got a Special Mention by the international jury. Her second feature Dorst, based on the novel by Esther Gerritsen premiered at the IFFR in 2018 and was selected for the International Film Festival Shanghai. In 2021 she directed De Zitting, a feature about #MeToo which was nominated for a Golden Calf in the category Best Singleplay at the NFF. Saskia is a senior lecturer in both writing and directing for film at HKU Media, School of the Arts Utrecht, since 2004.- Actress
