- Claudia Gusmano was born in Marsala, in the province of Trapani, Sicily, on August 20, 1985. Since childhood she had a passion for acting but only after attending the theatrical performance of "Cyrano de Bergerac", with Anna Mazzamauro, in her hometown, she decided to pursue an acting career. In 2004, she joined the theater academy "Auroville" of Augusto Zucchi, where she graduated in 2006. She won a scholarship, in 2016, to participate in the workshop of the American acting coach Ivana Chubbuck at the Piccolo Eliseo theater.
She begins to approach the world of TV by chance when was chose one of the 19 participants in the initial stages of the fourth edition of Amici di Maria de Filippi (2001), a famous reality show in Italy, but does not reach the final stage. Claudia then takes the stage, kicking off her career thanks to the director Emanuela Giordano, with whom she worked from 2006 to 2016. She received many awards, including best actress for the play "Taddrarite" at the Rome Fringe Festival in 2014.
Gusmano also started working for television in TV series like Distretto di polizia (2000), Squadra antimafia - Palermo oggi (2009), Anti-Drug Squad (2011), Don Matteo (2000), La mafia uccide solo d'estate (2016), L'allieva (2016) and more recently An Astrological Guide for Broken Hearts (2021).
