The parents of Frank McHugh ran their own stock company and he was on the stage as a child. When he was 10 he was part of an act that include his brother Matt McHugh and sister Kitty McHugh. After vaudeville and other stock companies, Frank debuted on Broadway "The Fall Guy" (1925). In 1930 he was hired at Warner Brothers as a contract player. Frank would usually play the sidekick to the lead actor and would provide the comedy relief in tense situations - if it were called for. With his nervous laugh and hangdog look, he appeared in over 90 movies in the first dozen years he worked at Warners. He would also appear with another very busy character actor, Allen Jenkins, in a dozen or so films. McHugh would be a mechanic, a song plugger, a pilot, a baseball player or a newspaperman, and would either be married or get the girl only if the girl was not the one the hero was interested in. Over the years he would work with most of the stars that Warners employed. By the early 1950s his film career started winding down. From 1964 to 1965 he played the role of Willis Walter on The Bing Crosby Show (1964).- Russell was born in Homestead Florida to a military family, the third of four sons to Buck and Juanita. Offered a theatre arts scholarship in high school to attend Transylvania University in Kentucky, he opted to join the US Army after becoming a father his senior year. Peacetime provided a unique opportunity as he soon discovered the esteemed Fort Bragg Playhouse where he began performing regularly. After his stint in the military he moved to New York City, spending two liberating years working odd jobs and doing regional theatre before joining the crew of the US Coast Guard cutter Sassafras in Honolulu, Hawaii.
After meeting his wife Shelley in Long Beach California, where they performed and directed together for several years, the couple moved to 'The Big Easy', New Orleans Louisiana, where their artistic lives flourished over the next 11 years. They eventually headed back west to be closer to family, settling in Seattle Washington. In addition to top notch professional theatre, Russell took advantage of Seattle's thriving Independent film scene, appearing in a slew of Indies and making guest TV appearances on Leverage and Grimm before being cast to play the "lovable stoner" Doc on the SyFy original series Z Nation in 2014. - Actor

Shenita (King) Moore was born a "military brat" on an air force base just outside of Miami, Fl in the mid 70's. When she was just 12 years old, her family settled in a quiet suburb of Albuquerque, NM. It was in Albuquerque that Shenita began her acting career. She worked in stage productions throughout high school and college; enjoying a short stint at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, before returning to the southwest, to pursue her Theater degree at the University of New Mexico.
In the fall of 1997, Shenita made the move to Los Angeles, CA with a group of fellow actors. Upon her arrival, she quickly submersed herself in the local theater scene, did background work and acted in student, independent and short films. After securing her first commercial agent, it was her work in the 1999 BabyCal commercial that gave Shenita's acting talent to a larger audience. While being a 30 second spot, the performance was demanding, very touching, and came with an immediate response. It proved to be the California Prenatal Program's most effective outreach. The BabyCal spot rolled into radio where Shenita's voice-over talents were discovered. The campaign aired for three years, and was her first taste of fame, as people would often stop her on the street to discuss the commercial's impact.
With a professional career that expands over 25 years, Shenita has seen most of her success happen on the small screen: in a coveted recurring role on the ABC hit drama Grey's Anatomy (2005) (in its early years) and co-starring roles on multiple television shows, such as Pam & Tommy (2022), Bob Hearts Abishola (2019), The Rookie (2018), The Lincoln Lawyer (2022) and American Crime (2015), to name a few.
In years past, Shenita has used her influence to raise funds for various local non-profits. In 2017 she saw the launch of her own Los Angeles non-profit called Children's Clothing Giveaway, Inc, which provides new and gently used clothing for children and their families, free of charge. CCG is a partnership effort with her husband Todd Moore and is described as "the link between those who want to give and those who need to receive."
With all that she has on her plate professionally, Shenita enjoys spending downtime with family (which includes her 2 Boston Terriers), traveling the world and helping her daughter's Taya-Morgan Moore (Visual Art and Animation) and Kenyah Moore (Makeup and Fashion), cultivate their own unique paths in the wonderful world of arts!
With her solid commitment and love for this profession, and as much of her previous work continues to air in syndication and across radio waves, it is easy to see that Shenita Moore is poised for a long and very successful career as an actress and philanthropist.
And, she feels overwhelmingly blessed!!- Actor

One of the great American jazz vocalists, born Marietta Williams in Homestead, Pennsylvania. Maxine's precocious talent led to early jobs on radio broadcasts in Pittsburgh and gigs with a local group led by her Uncle Harry, the Red Hot Peppers. After being introduced to the proprietor, she was hired as the featured singer at a speakeasy for $14 a week, a place known euphemistically as the Benjamin Harrison Literary Club. Pianiste Gladys Mosier (who played with the all-girl band of movie star Betty's sister Ina Ray Hutton) heard her perform and arranged a recording date at the Onyx Club on 52nd Street with band leader Claude Thornhill (who prompted her change of name, simply, because there were too many musicians named Williams on the scene already). By 1937, Maxine had developed her own intimate, swinging style, which blended with perfect diction and intonation for several famous recordings with Thornhill's orchestra, including "Gone With the Wind" and the best-selling up-tempo folk songs "Loch Lomond" and "Annie Laurie".
By the end of the decade, the "Pint-Sized Songstress" was at the peak of her popularity. Her face had hit the cover of Life magazine and she commuted regularly for sessions between the West Coast and New York. Her rendition of "Summertime" at a 1938 memorial concert for George Gershwin was a showstopper. In the Paramount musical St. Louis Blues (1939), Maxine can be heard singing the title track. Between 1940 and 1941, she cut several more hit records with bassist John Kirby (to whom she was married at the time) and his 'biggest little band in the land'. She also joined Kirby for two seasons on the CBS show "Flow Gently, Sweet Rhythm", in the process setting a landmark for African-American women being showcased on radio for any length of time. In the summer of 1941, she went on tour with Benny Carter's orchestra, then left showbiz for several years. Back in New York in the mid- 40's, Maxine went on pursuing a successful career as a soloist, enjoying long residencies at famous venues like Le Ruban Bleu, Village Vanguard and Penthouse. In addition to singing, she had also added the valve trombone, pocket trumpet and the flügelhorn to her repertoire. After touring Europe in 1948 and 1954, she retired from performing a second time to take up nursing, physical therapy and and health counselling at schools in the Bronx.
Her final comeback began in 1958. In the course of the succeeding two decades, Maxine worked with second husband Cliff Jackson (an ex-Chick Webb alumnus), the brilliant clarinettist Bob Wilber, as well as performing with the World's Greatest Jazz Band, at the Half Note in New York and at a number of international jazz festivals. In the 80's, she added three Grammy Award nominations to her Tony nomination for a 1979 Broadway role in the musical "My Old Friends".- Lawrence A.
