Mary Roscoe was born on 12 June 1959 in Harare, Zimbabwe. She is an actress, known for Ted Lasso (2020), Testament of Youth (2014) and Unrelated (2007). She has been married to Jeremy Swift since 5 November 1992. They have two children.- Shana Elizabeth Dowdeswell (died December 12, 2012) was born on April 1, 1989 in Harare, Zimbabwe. She then moved to New York City where she attended City and Country School, PS 3, and finally PPAS High School. She also began a career as an actress, beginning at age eight. Over the years, she accumulated many credits, including playing Anne Frank at the Papermill Playhouse and working in films and on television. But more than that, she accumulated hundreds of friends and extended family members who loved her as deeply as she loved them. Shana was a bright spirit, a shining, generous, hopeful girl. She traveled the world, returning to Africa, traveling many times to Paris and London where she had beloved family members. Most recently she traveled to Canada with her boyfriend Cameron Moneo.

Chloe Traicos was born and raised in Zimbabwe. Her father is international cricket star, John Traicos and her mother, Annette Kileff is an artist. Chloe lived in Zimbabwe until until 2005 when she was forced to flee the country after having made a controversial documentary about the country's leader, Robert Mugabe. In her documentary Chloe speaks out on behalf of the Zimbabwean people who have spent years being persecuted and starved. Despite the fact she had to leave the country, Chloe's documentary ( aptly named " A Stranger in my Homeland" ) went on to win awards throughout the world. Chloe then immigrated to Australia with her parents and sister. In Australia Chloe went on to make the award winning Indie film " I Wish I Were Stephanie V" which opened the New York City International Film Festival in 2011, with a special screening outside in Times Square. Chloe has since moved to the US where she continues to make films.- Married the actor Andrew Ray in 1959, after meeting him in the West End play "Flowering Cherry". Susan moved back to Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) with their two children after the couple separated, but they never divorced and remained on excellent terms. Susan retired from acting, though did return to the stage occasionally in Zimbabwe.

He rose to power as Regent Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia (Enderase) for Empress Zewditu from 1916. Haile Selassie is widely considered a defining figure in modern Ethiopian history, and the key figure of Rastafari, a religious movement in Jamaica which emerged shortly after he became emperor in the 1930s. He was a member of the Solomonic dynasty which claims to trace lineage to Emperor Menelik I, believed to be the son of King Solomon and Makeda the Queen of Sheba.

Vongai (she/her) is an award-winning actor, singer and writer based in New York. She has worked in theatre, film, television and voiceovers. Before living in the Big Apple, she was born in Harare (Zimbabwe) and raised in London (UK) and Beijing (China) making her a proud third culture kid. She holds a B.A (Hons) in Film and Television Studies from Brunel University in London and had the privilege of classically training in acting, voice and movement at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NY.
In 2018 she won the award for Best Drama Actress at Catalyst Content Festival (formerly ITVFest) for the short film, Patiri In The Promised Land.
She hosts ZimExcellence, a podcast that spotlights Zimbabwean change-makers and trailblazers living around the world. The show has 2.1K+ downloads and has been listened to in 58 countries, 363 cities in the continents of Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America and Oceania.
As a result of her international upbringing, she was raised to see the world through the eyes of a global citizen. She has a deep appreciation for different cultures and it has given her a hunger to learn more about the world and help share people's stories.

M.K. Asante is an American author, filmmaker, recording artist, professor. He is known for his memoir Buck.
Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, and raised in Philadelphia, he is the son of scholar Molefi Kete Asante and choreographer Kariamu Welsh. Growing up he struggled with the incarceration of his brother and the city's urban decay. After being expelled from multiple schools, he discovered his talent for writing at 16 and decided to pursue it as a career.
Asante is the author of four books, most notably Buck, a memoir about his troubled yet profound youth in Philadelphia. Buck was selected as a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers pick and made the Washington Post bestseller list in 2014 and 2015.
Asante is a Sundance Institute Feature Film Fellow for the movie adaptation of his memoir Buck. Asante wrote and produced the documentary 500 Years Later (2005), a documentary about slavery which received the Breaking the Chains Award from the United Nations' UNESCO. Asante directed and produced The Black Candle (2008), a documentary about Kwanzaa, co-written and narrated by Maya Angelou.
Asante has written essays on art, Hip Hop, technology, and culture for USA Today, Huffington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, and the New York Times.
Asante's debut music project, the Buck: Original Book Soundtrack, was released on May 14, 2015. The Soundtrack features hip-hop music by Asante and is inspired by his memoir Buck. Asante is featured on the song "Bangers", along with Haley Bennett, from the critically acclaimed album Indie 500. Pitchfork called "Bangers" a "can't miss moment" on the album and wrote, "MK Asante captures the vibe nicely." Asante is the founder of Wonderful Sound Studios.- Lazarus Boora was born in Harare. His first movie was Yellow Card (2000) and he played as Tuyane Tsumba.
