Sweet Tooth's story is far from over.
Netflix on Thursday announced a renewal for Sweet Tooth Season, citing what the company calls as "60 million member households" watching the show in its first four weeks.
As is the case with Netflix's arbitrary numbers, the number above means that each of those households watched at two minutes of the series.
Sweet Tooth Season 2 will consist of 8 1-hour episodes.
Jim Mickle will serve as Executive Producer, Writer, Director, and Showrunner for season 2. Mickle said of the renewal,
“It’s been equally thrilling and heartwarming to experience how people around the world have been falling in love with our deer-boy."
"We couldn’t be more excited to continue our collaboration with Netflix and keep following Gus and his friends on their extraordinary journey,” he continued.
In addition to Mickle, Team Downey’s Susan Downey, Robert Downey Jr., and Amanda Burrell, and Linda Moran will return as Executive Producers.

Robert Downey Jr. and Greg Berlanti are working on a TV adaptation of Samantha Downing’s upcoming novel, “For Your Own Good,” at HBO Max, TheWrap has learned.
The executive producers have optioned Downing’s book, which is set to be released in July, and are currently in the development stage on a drama series at the WarnerMedia-owned streaming service. Downey Jr. and Berlanti’s teams are looking for a writer to adapt the project.
Downing’s “For Your Own Good” takes place within the halls of New England’s prestigious Belmont Academy, per its official description. “With Ivy League admissions rolling in, stiff competition for this year’s coveted Teacher of the Year Award and planning for the memorial statue for the recently deceased headmaster, the book and potential series also explore the run of poisonings and dead bodies that have started to pile up at the university.

It's been a long time since a TV show got me so angry.
Major Jenkins' death on Madam Secretary Season 6 Episode 4 was a tragic complication of his untreated Ptsd.
At least the Va bill got passed in the end, but this didn't have to happen.
Jenkins hid his Ptsd well.
When we first met him, he was getting the Medal of Honor and seemed stable and together.

Sure, he got upset when he wasn't able to speak in front of the Veterans' Affairs Committee, but who wouldn't? Anyone would have been frustrated and humiliated to discover that the opposition canceled the meeting just to stop him from speaking.
The thing about Ptsd, though, is that it's often an invisible illness.
Not everyone who experiences a traumatic event experiences Ptsd. That's part of the problem. It's entirely unpredictable.
