Netflix has secured the exclusive distribution rights to the highly anticipated documentary Diddy Do It, produced by 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film & Television.
While many assumed that 50 Cent’s threat to release a documentary about his nemesis was a mere troll, the rapper and television producer was working behind the scenes.
According to TMZ, the documentary delves into the numerous sexual assault allegations against the influential rapper and producer, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Combs, a towering figure in the music industry and Bad Boy label boss, known for launching the careers of Notorious B.I.G. and Mary J. Blige, has faced a cascade of legal troubles and public scrutiny due to a series of sexual assault accusations.
The allegations, some dating back decades, have resurfaced with new evidence and lawsuits, sparking a wave of public interest that fueled a fierce bidding war for the documentary rights.

Streaming activity for Sean “Diddy” Combs has severely dipped since he has been accused of assault and harassment.
When comparing Combs’ U.S. catalog streams during the first week of December — two weeks after Cassie Ventura sued him — with streams of his catalog during the week ending May 16, there was a 51.8 percent decrease for songs under his stage name Diddy from 2,624,000 streams to 1,265,000 streams, according to Luminate, which tracks music streams and sales.
As Puff Daddy during the same period, he saw a similar drop: there was a 48.3 percent decrease from 1,359,000 streams to 703,000 streams. Under his stage name Diddy, the change was very small: a 2.1 decrease from 604,000 streams to 591,200 streams.
The streaming decline comes after Combs apologized on Sunday for a recently surfaced 2016 video which sees him attacking Ventura, his ex-girlfriend and former protege who was signed to his Bad Boy record label. In the video, first obtained by CNN,...

Ever since the raids on Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ homes in California and Florida a name that’s been coming up a lot is Jay-Z. Part of that has to do with fellow rapper 50 Cent who has been trolling both men on social media following the news.
In one Instagram post, 50 put up an image of Jay’s face on the side of a milk carton with the word “Missing” written above the photo and captioned it: “Anybody seen Jay Lol” with several laughing emojis and “Puff said … ain’t answering his phone. Lol.” Then in another post, the “In da Club” artist shared a pic of the “99 Problems” rapper waving to a camera and wrote: “Here is Jay-Z last reported seen waving at Puffy jet” with an airplane emoji.
While there have been several lawsuits brought against Diddy recently alleging sexual assault and abuse spanning over three decades, Jay-Z has not been accused in those.

Road House, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, has muscled its way to the top of viewership on Amazon Prime. The reboot was helmed by Doug Liman, and the numbers recorded are a positive sign that even though the film was overlooked for a theatrical release, the power of storytelling is still compelling, even if it is on a small screen.
The choice to go straight to streaming was deliberate on the part of the makers and the studio. Either way, the move paid off, as the film has set a new record.

It is fair to say that the line between sports and films is often blurred in Tinseltown. While athletes dabble in acting, actors often try their hand at sports. As an illustration, consider Conor McGregor, the Irish mixed martial arts fighter who just made his acting debut in the latest flick, Road House, helmed by Doug Liman.
His performance received high praise from moviegoers and critics alike, with some even suggesting he could be the next “Arnold Schwarzenegger”. Regardless, he may have stolen the show in the Jake Gyllenhaal starrer film, but he is far from ready to dethrone Dave Bautista. Not to be overlooked is the fact that the latter has an equally impressive acting resumé.

All eyez are back on Tupac Shakur, whose 1996 murder may be closer than ever to being solved. The same month that marks the 27th anniversary of Shakur’s murder, police have arrested a key figure who was present at the Las Vegas shooting. The exact charges have yet to be released by police.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Las Vegas police arrested 60-year-old Duane “Keffe D” Davis, a member of the South Side Compton Crips (and that ain’t a rap group). Davis has been long tied to Tupac Shakur’s murder, with one book by a former LAPD detective alleging that Davis was paid off by Sean “Diddy” Combs to pull the trigger. Davis would maintain that his nephew, Orlando Anderson, was the one who killed Tupac Shakur.
Adding to the story, five years ago, Davis revealed that he was in fact in the Cadillac that ambushed Tupac Shakur...

To top it off, rap’s ultimate entrepreneur, Jay-Z, is nominated for two Emmys, including a historic one for outstanding directing for a variety series for Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime show. And this is all happening during the year that is the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.

Pink Floyd had to wait before they became a classic rock success story. They wrote the song that predicted their breakthrough on The Dark Side of the Moon, and then their world changed. That album catapulted them to fame and the trappings of it. Bassist Roger Waters almost attacked a fan in 1967, which came a decade before his confrontation with a concert-goer inspired Pink Floyd’s last great album.

After parting ways with their creative leader, Syd Barrett, in 1968, Pink Floyd waded through several years of mixed results as a psychedelic band. When they shifted gears and headed in a more prog-rock direction in the early 1970s, it sparked the fire that burned brightly for most of the decade.

Nothing sets a hip-hop fan off quicker than a debate about the greatest rappers of all time. The contentious topic has been a source of discussion for decades now, in barbershops and on street corners as well as Twitter timelines and group chats. Most recently, Billboard and Vibe's "50 Greatest Rappers of All Time" list has been at the center of the latest discourse. The outlets' ranking - which rolled out 10 rappers weekly starting on Jan. 11 and ending on Feb. 8 - sparked arguments across social media, with rap fans taking issue with everything from their favorite artist's numbered spot (or complete exclusion) to the criteria used to create the list. Even rappers themselves held the publications' picks to the fire.
"I don't f*ck with Billboard or the editor," a disgruntled Ice Cube, who ranked No. 18 on the list, told TMZ. "Billboard ain't Hip Hop so their opinion don't matter. So who gives a f*ck?...

Sean “Diddy” Combs first entered the music world in the late 1980s as an intern for Uptown Records, eventually launching his own label, Bad Boy Records, in 1993. In the late ’90s, after the death of his friend The Notorious B.I.G., Diddy became a rapper himself, quickly earning a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. And although Diddy’s catalog of hits dates back over two decades, the music mogul has no plans to sell his music for a big payday.
