Rico Miles Turrubiarte is a writer, director and actor living in Los Angeles, California. Rico was born and raised in Denton, TX, where he first began making YouTube movies on his parents mini-VHS camera with his brothers, cousins and friends. After college Rico moved to New York City where he began working in film and television production with various companies around the city. In 2016, Rico moved to Los Angeles, where he began writing feature and short screenplays, as well as acting in several films and web-series. In 2019 Rico released his directorial short debut, "Cugurt" starring his brother, stand up comic Spencer Turrubiarte. In the same year Rico made his official screen debut starring as Sergio in the highly acclaimed short film, "Jackie & The Rats" directed by Erez Heiman and Nadav Heyman. Since 2020 Rico has been in development on three feature films, one of which he will be directing ("The Book of the Slamned"), the two others set to be directed by Kaitlin T. Scott, a director Rico has collaborated with on numerous occasions.
