It was a pretty sweet day for the Kardashian family!
Kim Kardashian West and Kourtney Kardashian spent the day at the Museum of Ice Cream in Los Angeles, California on May 11, bringing along their little ones for a day of sprinkles, popsicles and fun.
Kourtney and daughter Penelope certainly enjoyed the museum's iconic life-size sprinkle pool, while Kim and daughter North took a call in the bubblegum pink room. It appeared the group was filming the visit for season 14 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, so we'll have to wait and see if fans will get more of their adventures there!
Earlier in the month, The Real hosts Jeannie Mai, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and Loni Love all posed in celebration of DeLeón Tequila's Cinco de Mayo bash at the Doheny Room in West Hollywood, California. Joining the group of gals in a stylish red hat was Mai's mom. Guests sipped on DeLeón Tequila’s specialty cocktail, "Mexican...

“Master of None” is heavily influenced by film and filmmakers, from the great Italian NeoRealist directors Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang drew from for the black-and-white premiere to the hour-long ninth episode constructed like a mini-film unto itself, complete with fresh opening credits cast over the skyline of Manhattan.

But what makes the series special isn’t what it draws from, but what it creates. Ansari, Yang, and the team of writers and directors behind the Netflix original series craft specific human moments within the framework of their cinematic inspirations. So below, we’ve ranked our favorite scenes of hilarity, insight, or hilarity and insight from the inspired second season. While these seven are inarguably unforgettable, please feel free to list your own favorite moments — big or small, Arnold or Dev — in the comments below.

Part of what makes “Master of None” a delightful, refreshing viewing experience is how in 10 episodes, co-creators Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang continue to find new ways to surprise the audience. Whether it’s a bluntly funny song choice, the casually incorporated use of black-and-white footage, a telling change in perspective, several telling changes in perspective, or an unexpected arc in the story itself, the Netflix original series feels informally formal. It’s gorgeous, deep, and with style to spare, but the narrative flows without force, moving from topic to topic with the ease of young lovers lost in a date they never want to end.
So why spoil it?
I won’t, but suffice to say, Season 2 is as carefully constructed as it is appears to be carefree. Ansari — who wrote or co-wrote every episode and directed two-and-a-half hours of the 10 episode second season — has infused more of himself into his follow-up season,...

TV: now more than ever! With online-streaming platforms firing on all cylinders, cable upstarts making their name in the game, and networks clawing at one another for viewership, there's an embarrassment of riches on the tube — and this year's lineup of Emmy nominees fully reflects that. In terms of sheer numbers, it's a lot to manage. Squeezing in all the Best Picture Oscar nominees every year? Solidly doable. Committing to two dozen full seasons of television? We hope you have stock in Visine and aren't big on that whole "sleep" thing.

Sitting in an overflow room at the Paley Center for Media, a thought struck me: “What if Shoukath Ansari wins an Emmy for ‘Master of None’?”
The thought wasn’t entirely baseless — Shoukath, the father of Aziz Ansari, certainly warrants the praise for his hysterical, honest and empathetic turn — nor was it unprompted. Netflix was holding its official For Your Consideration event for “Master of None,” and the event attracted so many people that a substantial chunk of us couldn’t even fit in the main theatre. We had to move to a backroom with a television displaying first the episode being screened and then a conversation between creators Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang, producer Michael Schur and cast members Lena Waithe and Kelvin Yu.
Clearly, there’s a fervor surrounding this show — and a devout fan base for the senior Ansari family member, as well. His debut in the...

Shoukath Ansari - "Master of None" Some actors were born for their role. Shoukath Ansari had to have a kid before he could find his. Aziz Ansari's father was such a delightful presence on "Master of None," he's been making the circuit with his son to help promote the show. Let me rephrase that slightly: The "Parks and Recreation" actor who's sold out Madison Square Garden doing stand-up and wrote a national bestseller brought his dad along to help promote his new Netflix series. That's how good Shoukath Ansari is at playing Dev's dad on the show. In just a few scenes, he became as beloved as his superstar son. Congratulations to them both. Aziz Ansari has a request, y'all: If you're lucky enough to have a parent or parents that love you, let 'em know. The 32-year-old comedian only recently came to this revelation himself after his real-life mom and dad played his character's parents on his Netflix comedy, Master of None. Despite having no acting background whatsoever, Fatima Ansari and Dr. Shoukath Ansari have been total hit. As Stephen Colbert told Aziz on Tuesday's The Late Show, "People say your dad—your parents, are like stealing scenes from you." The Parks and Recreation alum agreed, but as he revealed in a heartfelt Instagram post on Wednesday, it was his experience with his parents behind the scenes...

Much like his character Dev, a commercial actor muddling his way through New York City’s dating scene, Aziz Ansari’s new comedy Master of None (streaming now on Netflix) can be unabashedly meandering — but that’s in no way intended as a criticism.
The Parks and Recreation vet — alongside co-creator Alan Yang — has created a deeply specific, highly diverse portrait of thirtysomething life in New York City, with a talkiness that recalls early Woody Allen and a sentimental streak that may be the show’s greatest asset.

In Aziz Ansari's new Netflix comedy "Master of None," the "Parks and Recreation" alum plays an actor named Dev, his real parents play Dev's parents, there's a running subplot where he takes a supporting role in a "black virus movie" called "The Sickening," and there are cameo opportunities for everyone from Claire Danes to Busta Rhymes. With that description, it would be safe to assume "Master of None" would be another showbiz navel-gazer, made by people — Ansari co-created the series with fellow "Parks and Rec" alum Alan Yang — only capable of, or interested in, writing about the world that's immediately around them. But what makes "Master of None" so special — and instantly not only one of Netflix's best series, but one of the best shows on TV — is that it's the thematic opposite of that. What defines Dev isn't that he spends a lot of time on movie sets,...
