Tim Hardin’s 1965 song “Reason to Believe” has been covered by everyone from Neil Young to Rod Stewart. Now, Vagabon’s Laetitia Tamko and Courtney Barnett have taken a swing at it, mirroring folk singer Karen Dalton’s version of the tune.
“If I listened long enough to you/I’d find a way to believe that it’s all true” Tamko sings, backed by Barnett and sparse guitar. Footage of Tamko and landscapes make up the accompanying video.

Dirty Projectors unveiled a tender new song “Search for Life,” which will appear on a new Ep, Windows Open, out this Friday, March 27th.
The song boasts a simple but potent instrumental mix of acoustic guitar picking and a string arrangement (courtesy of Oliver Hill) that swings between jagged runs and grand, effortless sweeps. There are some quintessential Dirty Projectors backing harmonies as well, while guitarist Maia Friedman handles lead vocal duties, singing, “She goes to other heights/She wades dunes, sand and lime/In search for life.”

NBC’s Reverie this Wednesday shed new light on the tragic day when Mara Kint’s sister, along with her niece, was shot dead by Ray. Was the twist surprising for you, or not as twisted as you imagined?
In the penultimate episode of Season 1, Mara’s run-in with a Chris “glitch” that morphed into Ray understandably had her spooked and wondering about her derealizations becoming stranger and more aggressive — to the point that she explored having her Bci removed, though that would mean ending her tie to Reverie (and a crestfallen Paul) forever.

At first blush, Reverie appeared to be a beneficial idea, whether a client used it for escapism or therapy.
But more of the dark side of the Reverie program became apparent to Mara on Reverie Season 1 Episode 4.
Now we learned about dark Reveries, which are apparently a thing on, yup, you guessed it, the Dark Web.
So there are limitations about what can and can't be included in a Reverie. Paul's explanation about that was fairly vague, but it's encouraging to know there are rules.
Glenn Maybach bought the stolen Bci to steal an experimental drug for his young, dying neighbor. That seems like a selfless act to me. He was doing this for the greater good. How does that qualify as a dark Reverie?
Glenn was a winning character. He struggled with agoraphobia and compulsions. Yet the coder wanted to find a way to help out Liz, to whom he felt attracted,...
