Marvel Rivals has kicked the hornet’s nest and fans are racing to be first in line for the closed beta on PlayStation this July. Fans are now sharing their picks for which character should be added to the roster and one is a well-realized villain by Insomniac Games from Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Mr. Negative was underutilized in other Marvel projects, but the developers of the PlayStation exclusive did a great job in creating an original story with the character having a pivotal role. His popularity paved the way for him to be a candidate to be added to the multiplayer game.

Tom Hardy is one such actor who has surprised audiences with his choices of films and the intensity delivers with every role he plays. In compelling character-driven dramas like Warrior. Locke, Bronson, and The Revenant the actor played some complex characters that are morally layered. Hardy has also played two significant characters in both Marvel and DC films.

While he may have come back to the role of Venom more than once to have some ridiculous comic fun with the role, fans love him more for his intricate portrayal of Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. A couple days ago, Sony Pictures unveiled a trailer for their Marvel Comics adaptation Venom: The Last Dance, giving us our first look at the film that’s meant to wrap up the Venom series and is aiming for an October 25th theatrical release. Now Forbes has published an interview with star Tom Hardy in which he talks about ending the series with a bang – and teased that this movie might have an R rating. (The previous two Venom movies were rated PG-13.)
Hardy told Forbes, “This one – I’m so, so excited about because we’ve gone much bigger. If the mission statement is commercial, blockbuster, action and superhero movie, how can we imbue a sense of something that’s fun and different? What’s going to entice people that they have a memory, they have a moment, they have an event? This comes from us who are really,...

When James Gunn sat to announce the projects in the first slate of the Dcu, the Lanterns series was one of the most hyped projects. Following the Ryan Reynolds debacle in 2011, the character has been sidelined from the live-action media for years before Gunn gave it another shot. Now, the latest rumors suggest that the casting for the upcoming series has started.

Lanterns was announced as a True Detective-esque project with two of the most fan-favorite Green Lanterns from the comics, Hal Jordan and John Stewart leading the show. Reportedly, the makers have put out certain criteria to cast the upcoming heroes of the Dcu.
If the rumors are proven true, then John Krasinski can be an incredible choice to play Hal Jordan in the new DC Universe.

When Spider-Man: No Way Home hit the theatres in 2021, fans around the world lost it as they witnessed Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland joining hands in order to battle it out with a band of antagonists who were threatening to ravage across the Multiverse. With a trip down memory lane, and numerous Easter eggs in the film, it was an experience to behold for fans across the world. And it wouldn’t have been the same without the return of Garfield and Maguire’s Spider-Man. And this induction was made possible only because of how Disney Studios acquired the rights to Spider-Man. But Tom Hardy might have dropped a major update on a future Spider-Man movie.

The first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance was released yesterday and...well, it was quite something. It's a Venom movie, alright, and while it looks like an "epic" conclusion to the trilogy, there are signs of the same old problems.
Sony Pictures has never quite managed to grasp this character, but Venom was a hit in 2018 and Venom: Let There Be Carnage also performed well despite being released in the final months of the Covid-19 pandemic.
That's given the studio a false sense of confidence and a belief that, no matter what fans and critics say, the goofy direction they've taken this franchise in is the right one. In this feature, we single out moments in the trailer which highlight the mistakes Sony has already made with Venom: The Last Dance.

Following the release of the first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance, star Tom Hardy took part in an interview with Forbes, and the actor had some interesting things to say about Sony Pictures' "Ssu" and the fact that Spider-Man has yet to show up in the franchise.
Hardy began by sharing his excitement for what is being marketed as the final solo Venom movie.
“This one - I’m so, so excited about because we’ve gone much bigger. Kelly [Marcel] and I have been working with Tom Rothman and Sanford [Panitch] and their Sony team for 7-8 years now. We started off - like, initially, [Venom] was just Eddie Brock and nobody knew what we were going to do. Then the second [film, Venom: Let There Be Carnage] - we wrote the second one, we pitched it, got to direct it, put the team together on that - that was huge!

The MCU is at it again, as they have made their fandom go nuts with the release of the new trailer of Venom: The Last Dance. The fans are baffled by the fact that Chiwetel Ejiofor portrays different roles in the superhero franchise. But what has left them confused is how a small part of the symbiote was left behind in the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Back in 2022, the fans were left equally bewildered because in the post-credits scene of Morbius an old face from Ssu was featured.

The first trailer for the final instalment in Sony Pictures' Venom trilogy, The Last Dance, was released yesterday, and while the footage didn't feature many major reveals, we did get confirmation that a villainous Symbiote teased in the previous movie will appear.
Towards the end of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, it was heavily implied that corrupt detective Pat Mulligan (Stephen Graham) had merged with a piece of the Carnage Symbiote. Mulligan returns in the trailer for The Last Dance, but the closed captions for the character's dialogue label him as Toxin.
"As long as Venom lives, everything, everyone will end," he says as the teaser cuts to shots of Venom in action.
It remains to be seen if Toxin is actually unleashed in this movie, but it would seem like an odd move to use the name in the subtitles if we weren't going to see Mulligan transform at least once.

The third installment of Sony’s Venom series is also supposedly its last. The trailer picks up right after MCU’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Rhys Ifans appeared as his The Amazing Spider-Man character, Kurt Conners/the Lizard. Venom appears in the post-credit scene of that movie, and it seems like he just managed to hop back to his universe. However, things are worse here as Venom reveals his kind has launched an attack on Earth.

Additionally, it also highlighted a sense of tension and brought forward the fact that it could indeed be the last time that the symbiotic relationship rolls on the screens, at least for the British actor.

Yesterday, the first trailer for ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ was released, featuring Eddie Brock and Venom on the run after defeating Carnage. From what we saw, Eddie and Venom are being hunted not only by humans but also by other symbiotes.
Recently, leaked merchandise hinted that the villain in the upcoming movie could be Toxin or Lasher. The newly released trailer has confirmed that the antagonist will indeed be Toxin.
The confirmation came from the trailer subtitles when Stephen Graham’s character, who looks like he’s been captured and held in a cell, spoke.
Toxin is the child of the Carnage symbiote, making him the “grandchild” of the original Venom symbiote. Toxin is considered one of the strongest symbiotes. Based on how ‘Let There Be Carnage’ ended, Toxin has plenty of reasons to go after Eddie and Venom. Toxin’s main host, and the one in the movie, is Patrick Mulligan.

For Tony Todd, his voice role as Venom in in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the latest in a career that has been full of heroes and villains.
The actor is known for his work ranging from Candyman, where he played the titular urban legend, to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, in which he voiced the titular Decepticon known as The Fallen.
With Spider-Man 2, he steps into the suit of one of Spider-Man’s chief villains for the game that stands as PlayStation Studios’ fastest selling game, and which this this spring unveiled an update featuring new suits and the ability to replay at a harder difficulty. Since the inception of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, excluding Spider-Man, the only thing that has gone their way till now is the Venom franchise. Even though the first movie failed to win over critics and was panned critically, it made enough splash at the box office to warrant a sequel and keep Sony’s strive for an interconnected universe alive.
However, apart from Venom, Sony’s attempt at a villain-centric universe hasn’t worked out well, as two of their last releases were both critical and box-office failures. But with the threequel on the way, whose first trailer has been released, it seems this might not be the last of the Symbiote.

Sony released the trailer for Venom: The Last Dance earlier today, and it seemingly puts our beloved Eddie Brock in the face of a disaster that he simply cannot escape from, without dying. Although the teaser has already given us a glimpse of what danger awaits the anti-hero which could turn out to become their last dance, fans are more in awe over what the symbiote is doing in its first trailer.

Have rumors of the superhero movie demise been greatly exaggerated? At a time when even the vaunted Marvel Cinematic Universe has gone through some rough patches and the entire live-action DC Universe undergoes a total creative reboot, the luster seems to have finally worn off the industry's golden goose. Too bad nobody appears to have delivered that memo to the wackiest odd-couple pairing in the entire genre ... or to the legions of fans looking forward to turning their latest antics into more viral memes.
After first worming their way into everyone's goo-filled hearts in 2018's "Venom" and serving up a second heaping of chaotic energy in "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" three years later, Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock and the violent, head-chomping symbiote joined to him at the hip (literally) are making their grand return in the trilogy-capping "Venom: The Last Dance." “Eddie… my home has found me,” the symbiote Venom warns his host Eddie Brock in the first trailer for the third Venom movie, Venom: The Last Dance. For the longest time, that statement wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense.
After all, Venom’s “home” was Battleworld, the planet where the Beyonder took a cadre of heroes and villains in the 1984 Marvel Comics crossover Secret Wars. When Spider-Man’s costume was ruined, a machine on Battleworld created a new one for him, which later revealed itself to be a malevolent symbiote. When Peter abandoned the suit, it bonded with the equally aggrieved photographer Eddie Brock and became Venom.
Simple, right? So simple that the origin stayed pretty much the same over the years, even as guys like Carnage showed up. Alternate versions of the Venom story, such as Spider-Man 3 or the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 video game, found...

In Venom: Let There Be Carnage's post-credits scene, Eddie Brock was teleported from his reality to Earth-616 (a.k.a. the Marvel Cinematic Universe).
His beaten-up Mexico hotel was replaced by what looked like a 5* resort, with the Venom Symbiote taking great interest in a TV news report about the wall-crawler. The stage was then set for a meeting between the two characters, only for Spider-Man: No Way Home to end with the reveal that Eddie never left his resort.
However, Venom did leave a piece of himself behind on Earth-616 in a scene clearly meant to open the door to Tom Holland's Peter Parker getting his own alien suit.
With Eddie sent back to where he came from, only a bartender - played by Ted Lasso's Cristo Fernández - was left to comment on the fact his sole customer vanished without paying his tab.

The first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance was released earlier today and offered fans a first look at the threequel. For those of you who enjoyed Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage, this movie certainly promises to be...more of the same.
However, it seems the plan is to up the ante and have Eddie Brock facing threats from Earth and Klyntar; that's evident from a newly released synopsis.
"In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie's last dance."

Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance, and this is far from an initial teaser, packing in quite a bit of action-packed footage from what is being marketed as the final instalment in the franchise.
It seems the Symbiote has finally managed to convince Eddie Brock to embrace being a "lethal protector" and start doling out some vigilante justice, as we see them dispatch a group of goons in typically violent fashion.
Venom's actions begin to bring unwanted attention, however, as it's revealed that Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange) and Juno Temple's (Ted Lasso) characters have been tasked with tracking Brock down - and we also learn that members of the Symbiote's alien race have taken an interest.

Tom Hardy and Venom have paired up for one final waltz around the big screen. Venom: The Last Dance marks the actor’s third and final outing as the titular Marvel Comics character and will arrive in theaters Oct. 25 via Sony Pictures.

Eddie Brock and his…better(?) half “may not make it out of [this one] alive.” That’s probably why the third and final film in the “Venom” series is subtitled “The Last Dance.”
On Monday, Sony Pictures released the trailer for the Marvel movie that officially makes “Venom” a trilogy. You would think by now the Tom Hardy character and his frenemy alien symbiote would have their timing down a bit better, but an early (and comedic) scene in the official trailer proves they’ve still got some work to do. The levity soon gives way to Brock/Venom biting four guys’ heads off — classic Venom.
In “Venom: The Last Dance,” the guys are on the lam — and it’s not just their Earth enemies who are closing in. The film’s tagline is “‘Til Death Do They Part,” which does not particularly promise a happy ending.
In addition to Hardy, “Venom 3” stars Chiwetel Ejiofor,...

Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance, even if Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock is still getting a bit used to sharing headspace with an alien symbiote.
In the clip, a seemingly reluctant Brock is cornered by a bad guy or several, and has no choice but to let the Venom drip, even if he is a little rusty at it. Take a look above.
Venom: The Last Dance is billed as Hardy’s final installment as the Marvel anti-hero, a role he last played in Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021). This time around, Hardy shares a story credit on the film with Kelly Marcel, who directs.

Tom Hardy returns as Eddie Brock for one final time in this autumn’s Venom: The Last Dance. Here’s a new trailer.
Venom is one of the more off-beat and wayward franchises in the superhero genre, with Tom Hardy evidently relishing his dual role of scruffy journalist Eddie Brock and Venom, the alien symbiote that becomes his unlikely partner.
Six years on from the 2018 original and the 2021 sequel, Let There Be Carnage, Hardy reprises the role for the third (and seemingly final) time in this October’s Venom The Last Dance. And if you’ve been wondering whether or not it’ll continue the knowingly over-the-top style of the last two movies, then fear not: the trailer below sees Venom fighting a monster on the roof of a moving jumbo jet and, a bit later, possessing a horse.

Sony has released the first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance, which is being billed as “the final film in the trilogy” starring Tom Hardy. Check it out below.
Following the events of 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Eddie Brock (Hardy) and his alien symbiote companion are more in tune than ever — even if they still haven’t quite nailed the catchphrase. But as David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” plays in the preview, Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor gear up a military squad to bring the extraterrestrial fugitive down.
With Stephen Graham’s symbiote-bonded Detective Mulligan in their custody, it seems the government has learned more dangerous creatures from Venom’s home planet are on their way to Earth. So while Brock and his slimy black buddy are on the run from one army, they must get ready to do battle with another, nastier one… that comes with way more teeth.

A third film in the Marvel Comics-inspired Venom franchise made its way through production last year, shutting down for several months along the way due to the Screen Actors Guild strike. Tom Hardy is ready to tango one last time with Venom, the Marvel anti-hero he has played for the past six years. The actor stars in the first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance, which is billed as the final film of Hardy’s trilogy in which he plays journalist Eddie Brock — a man who bonds with an alien symbiote, together becoming Venom.
Hardy has taken a hands-on approach with the Venom franchise, earning a story by credit on The Last Dance and previous entry, Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021). His frequent writing partner Kelly Marcel steps into the director’s chair for this installment, which opens Oct. 25.

Marvel's best couple is coming back to try and save Sony's woebegone live-action Spider-Verse one final time. With "Morbius" failing to make "It's Morbin' Time!" happen and "Madame Web" falling harder than Dakota Johnson trying to pop the lid on a soda can, it's up to Tom Hardy's lobster tank-diving journalist Eddie Brock and his tater tots-snacking, gooey-hearted (and just plain gooey) boyfriend Venom to keep the studio's hopes of a viable "Spider-Man" extended universe alive. (At least until Aaron Taylor-Johnson's nose-biting Kraven the Hunter arrives to usher in the next Yuletide season classic.)
"Venom: The Last Dance" sees "Venom" and "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" co-writer Kelly Marcel trying her hand at directing for the first time, once again drawing from a story she cooked up with Hardy. The pair have gradually become the main creative driving force behind this franchise over the course of the trilogy,...

Superman is set to be the first major installment of James Gunn’s new and improved Dcu. However, it seems that the shadow of the Dceu is never going to stop haunting WB, as Snyder’s version of the DC Mythos still seems to be the benchmark for a whole section of the fandom that the new Dcu is going to be measured against.

Despite all the efforts being taken to create a new cohesive universe that could bring fans a brilliantly shared continuity across multiple films, there seems to be a lot of criticisms that are being levied at the film without even a proper trailer or even a teaser. The Dcu seems to be unable to escape the shadow of the Dceu, as a slew of fans have found yet another aspect of James Gunn’s version of Superman to critique.

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' hunt for a Spider-Man 4 director continues, with Bad Boys: Ride or Die helmers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah now rumoured to be in the running for the job.
They previously worked with Marvel Studios on Ms. Marvel after directing the premiere and finale of the critically acclaimed Disney+ series. They then made the leap to the Dceu to direct Batgirl, only for the near-completed movie to be scrapped as a tax write-off by Warner Bros. Discovery.
Talking to ComicBook.com, El Arbi and Fallah addressed the Spider-Man 4 rumours head-on.
"It came out of nowhere, because we've got the Sony bosses here, and they didn't tell us anything!" El Arbi joked before Fallah chimed in to say, "I'm a superfan of Spider-Man, so you can imagine, when I was reading that, I was like, 'Whoa - that would be cool.'"

The BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) has classified a 2-minute, 27-second trailer for Venom: The Last Dance. Scooper Daniel Richtman narrowed down the release window, saying it will be released on Monday. The trailer is expected to screen in front of Bad Boys: Ride or Die, which hits theaters on June 7th.

As I mentioned above, plot details regarding Venom: The Last Dance have been kept under wraps, so it will be nice to finally know a little of what to expect from what’s being billed as the third and final installment of the franchise. Tom Hardy stars as Eddie Brock/Venom,...
