The much anticipated second season of the beloved superhero animated series My Adventures with Superman is finally here and it is as hopeful and entertaining as it was in the beginning. Created by Jake Wyatt, Brendan Clougher, and Josie Campbell, the Adult Swim series is based on a character of the same name from DC Comics by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
Season 2 of My Adventures With Superman continues the story of Clark Kent as he tries to become the Man of Steel (his superhero persona) while facing old and new villains some of whom are after his life and others are after his powers. Clark may also finally meet his long-lost Kryptonian cousin who could become an important storyline in Season 2.

By all accounts, Christopher Reeve was one of the kindest and most giving men in the business, something that so many of his co-stars and friends gave back. For those lucky enough to work alongside him on screens both big and small – even just once – it will always be a special moment. This holds true even in far lesser fare, as Superman III co-star Annette O’Toole remembers just how giving Reeve was even off the set.
Speaking with MovieWeb, Annette O’Toole – who played Clark Kent’s childhood friend Lana Lang – remembered the time that Christopher Reeve took her to a Simon & Garfunkel concert at Wembley Stadium while she was still trying to get acclimated to the environment. “[They] just kind of introduced me to the world as being part of this huge movie. And it was just a wonderful night, and he was so sweet all the time. He couldn...

Marvel’s Spider-Man was a massive triumph for Sony Interactive Entertainment, Marvel Games, and Insomniac Games. The first game did incredibly well which only makes sense to be excited for a sequel and one voice actor shared his two cents after wrapping up the story.
Roger Clark is known for his fantastic performance as Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2 which makes him an authority on the topic. After completing the main story, fans asked Clark about his opinion of the Symbiote supervillain and his response was not shocking.

The sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man had better gameplay which Roger Clark loved.

Clark’s Indiana Fever team is searching for its first win tonight against the Los Angeles Sparks at downtown’s Crypto.com Arena. They are 0-5 heading into tonight after playing a tough early season schedule. Clark has so far done well, averaging 17.8 points, 5.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds.

The CW used to be the ideal network for soapy teen dramas, sci-fi vampires and werewolf series, and DC superhero shows.
Now, it's a disappointing shell of those days.
The Vampire Diaries premiered back in 2009 and led to two additional spinoffs, while DC's Arrow began in 2012 and also began a massive franchise.
The CW used to include soapy dramas or sci-fi series, such as Supernatural, which launched Jared Padalecki's career.
The CW has only four original series left, and Superman & Lois will air its final season in the fall.
All American and All American: Homecoming are all on the bubble, while Walker was canceled. It seems like The CW has changed its' identity, and it's not favorable.
We long to return to those glory days when The CW ruled TV fandoms.

In mainstream media nowadays, there is a serious scarcity of inspiring, interesting superheroes, as cynicism and edginess have taken over the minds of fans and creators alike. The moral simplicity, high ideals, empathy, and compassion that defined the superheroes of yesteryear and the golden age have been replaced with the amoral, apathetic, grim self-projections of makers—created in such a way in a vain effort to make the characters ‘relatable’ to the audience. Even in such dreary, tedious situations, works like My Adventures with Superman exemplify the best potential of the genre by holding on to so-called old-timey ideals. The animated series has redefined the age-old saga of the Man of Steel for a new generation in such a way that it not only counters the prevalent bitterness of the genre as a whole but also acts as a blueprint for updated adaptations of iconic stories.

When My Adventures With Superman debuted last year, it felt like a breath of fresh air amidst a sea of overly dark and dreary takes on the character and on the DC Universe in general. Here was a show that allowed Superman to be a symbol of hope, that allowed Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen to be three-dimensional characters with depth and charm, and allowed the larger DC Universe to be vibrant, bombastic, and centered on literally anyone not named Batman.
Now, the newly minted fan-favorite has returned to screens for its second season. With the origin out of the way and the stakes higher than ever, can the show keep the momentum going and deliver an animated DC show on par with the beloved Animated Universe of old? Yes, the answer is yes. Though please keep in mind that this review only pertains to the first two episodes,...

Over a dozen people came to support former President Donald Trump in court on Monday, including Chuck Zito, former leader of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang. In the mid-1970s, Zito formed his motorcycle gang, the New Rochelle Motorcycle Club, before merging with the Ching-a-Ling Nomads.
Later, Zito was voted in as a member of the Hells Angels chapter in New York City in 1979 after meeting Sandy Alexander, chapter president. After numerous legal issues during his time with the Hells Angels, Zito left in 2004 to pursue a career in Hollywood. Some of Zito’s notable acting roles include Chucky “The Enforcer” Pancamo in the HBO prison drama Oz and Frankie “Diamonds” in Sons of Anarchy. He also worked as an amateur boxer and celebrity security guard.

There have been several iterations of Superman (at least 35) ever since the character made his debut in the DC Comics. Adapting the stories for the bigger screens, there has never been (as far as we know) a Superman who is unsure of himself.

Former Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Clark attended Donald Trump‘s trial in Manhattan on Thursday. Clark, a member of the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Justice Department, was indicted for his attempts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia.
During Trump’s Thursday trial, Clark sat at the back of the courtroom during the cross-examination of former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen. On the stand, Cohen called Trump a “Cheeto-dusted cartoon villain” on his podcast. Several other Trump allies joined Clark, though they did not come with Trump’s entourage.
Last week, House Speaker Mike Johnson was among those who made the pilgrimage to the Manhattan courtroom.
After President Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election, Clark falsely claimed the Justice Department was investigating errors and irregularities in the election results. In April, a D.C. Bar panel found Clark responsible for ethical violations by promoting conspiracy theories about the 2020 election.

While we'd expected James Gunn to cast a couple of big names as Superman's Ma and Pa Kent, the filmmaker instead chose to find two actors he felt embody the characters, Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell.
There's still no word on who, if anyone, will play Jor-El (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star Kurt Russell remains the rumoured fan favourite) but we're expecting Jonathan and Martha to be a huge part of Clark Kent's story. Here's hoping neither of them meets a tragic end, anyway!

Although Red Dead Redemption 2 may not have bagged the 2018 Game of the Year award, it still continues to hold a special place in players’ hearts with its remarkably detailed open world, beautifully written story, and graphics that hold up well even today.
With over 60 million copies sold, the game’s commercial success has left many fans wondering about the possibility of a third entry in the series, which, according to Arthur Morgan voice actor Roger Clark, is pretty much a guarantee.

Midway through Bob Clark’s Deathdream (originally titled Dead of Night), Andy Brooks (Richard Backus) dons a pair of black leather gloves and sunglasses for an upcoming date. Andy displays a suave and calm demeanor that should be familiar to fans of Jean-Pierre Melville’s 1967 film Le Samouraï, which features Alain Delon as the ne plus ultra of psychotic cool; his haircut even recalls that of Steve McQueen in 1968’s Bullitt. However, Andy’s garb has a tactile purpose, concealing as it does his deteriorating skin, which will turn to dust without a replenishing supply of blood. Because of this, Clark’s genre film goes in the opposite direction of peddling cool, as Deathdream shows how a pair of designer shades can only momentarily shield the irreparable physical and psychological scars of war.
That Deathdream is a vehement anti-war statement can only be ascertained gradually, as Andy’s parents, Charles...

It's been nearly a year since we last saw the Man of Steel on our screens, but The CW has confirmed today that Superman & Lois returns for its fourth and final season this fall.
The show will be part of the network's 2024 - 2025 schedule and is one of only a handful of scripted series set to air over that period (a result of Nexstar acquiring The CW and moving away from pricey dramas).
While we don't have a specific premiere date, we can confirm Superman & Lois is moving from Tuesday nights to Thursday nights. That's quite a departure seeing as its first three seasons aired on a Tuesday, but the reason for the change is The CW's acquisition of WWE Nxt.
That takes a two-hour timeslot on Tuesdays, leaving no room for the iconic DC Comics character.

Caitlin Clark made her WNBA debut with the Indiana Fever on Tuesday night, attracting a record-breaking audience for the matchup against the Connecticut Sun.
The game averaged 2.1M viewers across SPN2, ESPN+ and Disney+, marking the most-watched WNBA game on ESPN platforms ever, according to the network.
It breaks a record previously head by a Phoenix Mercury at Connecticut Sun game from 2004. That matchup drew nearly 1.5M viewers, which is far below this new record set by Clark’s debut game.
Not only that, but it’s also the largest WNBA audience in more than two decades, since a 2001 Sparks-Comets game. That game was on broadcast, though, meaning that it had a better chance at capturing such a broad audience. Tuesday’s Fever-Sun game is the league’s largest cable audience ever.
Just to further illustrate this unprecedented viewership, the second game of the night featured the Phoenix Mercury at Las Vegas Aces.

The Indiana Fever’s season home opener at the Connecticut Sun was the most-watched Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) game on ESPN in history, the network said in a statement.
The game averaged 2.1 million viewers across ESPN 2 on cable and the streaming platforms ESPN Plus and Disney Plus. At its peak, 2.3 million households were tuned in to watch Caitlin Clark’s first-ever WNBA game.
ESPN said it was the network’s most-watched WNBA regular season or playoff game, surpassing a previous record held by the Phoenix Mercury and Connecticut Sun set in 2004.
Clark likely had a lot to do with ESPN’s success: A second game between the Phoenix Mercury and Las Vegas Aces grabbed just 464,000 viewers for the night.
Between the two games, ESPN grabbed an average of 1.28 million viewers, up 192 percent when compared to last year’s viewership average.

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox stands tall as the greatest animated Dcau film. The movie features a dynamic storyline with three-dimensional characters and outstanding voice actors. Besides the rich narrative and well-written characters, the voice cast of the film has done a fantastic job. At the same time, there is quite an interesting story behind the casting of the role of Superman.
A still from Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox
In the animated series, Clark Kent was voiced by Tim Daly, the actor always the right choice to voice the character. Instead, his son did the work, and surprisingly, very few fans noticed the difference.

As Black artists’ roots in country music continue to be rediscovered following the release of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, the founders of the upcoming I Made Rock ‘N’ Roll Festival — which Janelle Monáe will headline on Saturday — are hoping the event will have a similar effect in the rock genre.

New Superman & Lois set photos have revealed a brand new look for John Henry Irons in the series finale.
CW’s Superman & Lois took a well-tread angle for the Man of Steel: Fatherhood. But instead of having one young son, Jonathan, like in the comics, Clark and Lois are parents to twin teenage boys in the series.
The show has garnered much praise over the past three seasons and has consistently scored decently, ratings-wise.

Live sports are coming to Disney+ sooner than you might think.
ESPN says next Tuesday’s WNBA tip-off games, including Caitlin Clark’s regular season debut with the league, will stream on Disney+.
On May 14, Clark’s Indiana Fever will face off against the Connecticut Sun, and the Phoenix Mercury will face the Las Vegas Aces. Both games will stream on Disney+, the company says, and will also be available on ESPN+ and ESPN2.
The WNBA games are a big deal, as until now, Disney+ has not been in the live sports business, with one rare exception. Disney has done some experimental streams with the NFL and NHL, in which it used technology to stream games live, but with animated characters in place of the actual athletes.

Ever since the release of HBO’s eight-seasoned highly anticipated Game of Thrones in 2011, the series gave birth to several fan discussions and theories. Considering Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen as one of the most influential characters in the show, there sparked a debate surrounding her, that still hasn’t died down, years later.
Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen
Apart from gaining global fame, Emilia Clarke’s journey as Daenerys Targaryen struck a chord in many fans’ hearts, who then turned her into the HBO show’s most-loved character. However, despite her good deeds and loving nature, the last season saw Daenerys struggling to fit in at Winterfell as if the North didn’t care about her sacrifices. This particular behavior sparked debate among Redditors about whether or not she sacrificed for the North.

Caitlin Clark picked up where she left off in her college career. Playing in her first WNBA preseason game as an Indiana Fever guard, the all-time NCAA scoring leader hit a deep 3-pointer for her first bucket as a professional.
It was part of a night in which she scored a team-high 21 points in a 79-76 loss to the Dallas Wings in a preseason game. Despite the low stakes – Clark didn’t play much in the second half – she stood out in front of the sold-out crowd at College Park Center in Dallas.
“My biggest goal coming into tonight was to continue to be myself, play aggressive,” Clark said after the game, according to the Associated Press. “I thought that’s what I did. I think there’s a lot to be proud of.

Christopher Reeve’s Superman is most people’s definitive portrayal of the character. Richard Donner successfully balanced the superheroic aspects of the character along with the nerdy charm of his alter ego Clark Kent. The success of the first film led to Reeve returning for three sequels.

Donner’s Superman has been the benchmark that every other iteration of the character aims to achieve. However, Superman II did not see the return of Donner and many of his intended scenes did not feature in the theatrical film. Rupert Wyatt’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes introduced us not just to the ape protagonist, Caesar, but also to his human co-protagonist Dr. Will Rodman, played by James Franco. The first film in the successful Planet of the Apes trilogy centered around how Will adopted Caesar who gets increased intelligence from the Alz-112 drug. Will survives the tragic events of the film, but it initially had planned a different climax for Franco’s character.

In the theatrical climax, Will finds Caesar and begs him to come home, but the latter prefers to stay with his new community of intelligent apes in the forest. Will’s fate is left to the viewer’s imagination as the deadly Alz-113 begins to spread among humans in the end.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." was a changed show in its second season. In its early days, the Marvel Television series suffered from an identity crisis. Season 1 started out trying to emulate co-creator Joss Whedon's previous work, yet it played as a pale imitation of shows like "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and especially "Firefly," following a ragtag team of misfits on weekly adventures in their flying home base. However, the one-two combo punch of Whedon stepping away from the series and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" blowing up the Marvel Cinematic Universe's status quo near the end of season 1 proved to be just the creative boost the show needed.
Upon returning for season 2, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." had gained a newfound confidence. Its characters began to take on greater dimensions, it really embraced the idea of being a show about everyday people trying to keep the world safe, and it even started...

Annie Clark displays a remarkable facility for change, creating constantly morphing songs contained within a shifting panoply of modes, voices, and styles, cutting delicate, glittering pop with forceful fuzz and raunchy, preening guitar work. A multi-instrumentalist with a history of institutional training and anonymous backing-band work, she retains the guitar as her signature instrument and most potent tool, lacerating otherwise divine music with down-and-dirty grit, eyes heavenward and feet muddy.
The gradual expansion of sounds and textures occurring across her seven solo albums as St. Vincent has been accompanied by an inverse sense of simplification, the fine-tuning of music that’s grown less theatrical and more precise, imagery and language filed down to a sharp point. The gradual expansion of sounds and textures occurring across her seven solo albums as St. Vincent has been accompanied by an inverse sense of simplification, the fine-tuning of music that’s grown less theatrical and more precise, imagery and language filed down to a sharp point. To celebrate the release of her latest release, All Born Screaming, we’ve ranked all eight of the musician’s albums, including her one-off collaboration with David Byrne.

The setting for Illinoise, Justin Peck and Jackie Sibblies Drury’s emotionally supercharged reinterpretation of the 2005 Sufjan Stevens concept album, is various locations across the Land of Lincoln — a cornfield, a hiking trail, a woodland clearing, the suburban home of a serial killer, a small town in the middle of nowhere, the top of a skyscraper and, of course, Chicago, with an out-of-state detour to New York City. But the real setting of this thrilling dance-musical-concert hybrid, alternately rhapsodic and shattering, is our collective youth.
Without a word of spoken dialogue, the show pulls us into late adolescence, a time when love, anguish and everything in between are felt perhaps with the greatest intensity. The book co-written by director-choreographer Peck and Drury (who won the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Drama with her brilliant meta-theatrical race inquiry, Fairview) is skillfully shaped yet invisible in the best sense of undiluted physical, sensorial and elemental storytelling.

Fans await the cast reveal for Dancing with the Stars Season 33, as each season brings various stars from acting, singing, social media, and sports.
Many sports stars have captured the coveted Mirrorball Trophy, now named the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, in the late DWTS judge’s honor.
Rumors suggested the show’s producers wanted to score big by bringing basketball superstar Caitlin Clark in for the upcoming season.
Clark captured much attention throughout the college basketball season, and DWTS desperately wanted her as part of the cast.
However, an insider says despite them “bending over backwards” to get Clark on the show, she “respectfully declined.”
That was due to Clark having other things to focus on, including her basketball career, and she has her eye on a few shows on which she’d prefer to appear.

St. Vincent’s seventh studio album, All Born Screaming, has arrived.
Described by St. Vincent’s Annie Clark as a “post-plague pop” album about “heaven and hell — the metaphorical kinds,” All Born Screaming was first announced this past February, and was preceded by its singles, “Broken Man,” “Flea,” and “Big Time Nothing.”

The album’s full tracklist spans 10 songs, and includes contributions from exciting collaborators like Dave Grohl, Josh Freese, Cate Le Bon (who features on the title track), and more.
One poignant moment is the song “Sweetest Fruit,” which was partially inspired by the legacy and death of Sophie, who Clark “never met,” but was “an admirer from afar,” according to a recent interview. Stream All Born Screaming in its entirety below.
Meanwhile, Clark is gearing up for her 2024 tour, which kicks off in May and will bring her to cities like San Francisco,...
