Tim Halo
- Producer
- Director
- Composer
Tim Halo is a musician, filmmaker, poet, audio engineer, and producer
born in Riverside, California, yet has been a resident of the bay area
since he was 12 years old. Halo has been involved in the arts since
completing his first novella at age 10. Halo dabbled as a writer of
short fiction, poetry and composer of music from this early age on.
Around the same time, Halo met Max Seeman, a fellow artist and guitar
prodigy. The two formed a fellowship that eventually resulted in the
founding of San Francisco-based extreme technical death metal band
anomalous, to great acclaim from the underground. After releasing two
albums through the underground metal label Brutal Bands, as well as directing and
releasing two music videos to the world, Halo decided he wanted to
start working on a proper short film. Having acquired all the camera and lighting equipment he needed, Halo outlined a short film that was inspired by a Tarot reading from which he would extrapolate the visually-based pseudo narrative thread of his film, "The Sleep of Reason".
