Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have Penelope Spheeris here to whoop your ass. Schwing! Agnes Varda framed my kitty-cat and it died…of framing. We’ve got more build to Bound For Glory on the way, so get your wrestling cap on so…wrestling cap? Jesus Titty-Fukking…well, we’ve got six matches and no “The Whole F’n Show” with Rob Van Dam, even though it was advertised last week. Well, I guess Katie Forbes got her ass stuck in the elevator, so she couldn’t reach the stage…maybe? I don’t know. I hope Katie Forbes’s ass is okay and Impact Wrestling starts now. Also, Barry Scott, the magnificent announcer of Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling during its best period, has died. Barry Scott had a tremendous voice and the gravitas to match it.

Greetings mortal scum! “Smart” Mark D. Mark here to give you a reason to live! As I fill in for Nathan Favel, I look upon Impact Wrestling: Emergence – Night 2 and wonder…why? We have two big matches on hand in the Women’s and World Titles matches, but does anyone care? “…but Mark, Impact is putting on a great product!” Blow me, geek! Impact is a trailer park with one less perv living there than usual. Do you want me to pat them on the back for giving out a lease to one single mother and her latchkey kid? That being said, I, “Smart” Mark D. Mark, will give this show a chance to impress me and my prolific mind. This review has begun!

Welcome to this review of Slammiversary 2020, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the big night where “our world changes”, or something like that. This could be a real hit, or just more disappointment from the little engine that just won’t stop (even for pedestrians). Well, my son Henry Jr. just shot these nice Nazi’s, so let’s just walk over these bodies and enjoy Slammiversary 202… Junior! Look at what you did! You shot those men! Slammiversary begins…Now!

Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and I got sun-poisoned earlier today and it f—— me up. Hey, I might even say some-hing weird for a change…change? That’s a load of bullsh*t. I’m always saying the wrong thing with these reviews. One time, I reviewed A League Of Their Own on here by mistake and forgot to not cry during baseball. Well, let’s see if Impact is a league of our own dreams, or our nightmares. That last sentence was everything that’s wrong with letting a gorilla-in-a-tutu like me talk to people.

Impact! kicked off with a huge three-way match featuring Michael Elgin vs Ken Shamrock vs Sami Callihan. As these titans looked to settle the score with one another,...

Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and the coronavirus has got people saying stupid s—. Don’t say stupid s— just because your government’s individual shutdown is giving you license to do so. Don’t tell people to stay indoors and don’t chastise them for going outside. We’re blowing this way out of proportion, especially with all of the more volatile diseases that have already been lurking around the corner for years. AIDS doesn’t give a s— if you have coronavirus and will kill you without delay, whereas the coronavirus will, likely, just make you a bit sicker than usual and for a few more days than usual. All we should be doing is having the elderly stay in doors for a month so they can skip the heavy part of the “outbreak”. We should just...

The Knockout’s Title is on the line and so is my patience in this damn hamster. The little bastard won’t lay a golden egg, damn it! Don’t tell me that’s not how it works! I went to public school! I know everything! Impact starts…now!

My f—— arm! Shut up Millie! Mad TV was funny, damn it. We’ve got the big one here, with Tessa overcoming her racist behavior to be here. I hope that she got over that mean streak of hers, because she’s about to become one of the most important people in wrestling.

Welcome to this review of Impact Wrestling’s Bash at the Brewery 2, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we’ve got the calm before the Tessa Blanchard storm, so don’t forget to wear your “don’t call me n—–“ rain-poncho. Hey, she’s the one who is the racist. Okay, we’ve got a good night of action to get to, so let’s rocket like a wocket in a pocket with its cocket in a socket.

Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we’ve got some…well, Ken Shamrock is gonna beat a hole in Sami Callihan’s head, so that’s what I’m here for. Okay, let’s get through the crap so we can talk about Ken Shamrock killing Sami Callihan with his rock-hard, old-guy pipes for arms.

Welcome to this edition of the The Last Week In Wrestling, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and I fell down an elevator shaft that was going up real fast. Now, I look like Eraserhead. David Lynch might be thrilled, but it sure as hell pisses me off. At least I don’t have to stock up on hair gel any more. Okay, we have lots of wrestling to get to, thanks to TalkTech, which is great, but keeps patching me into the Canadian Missile Center. “T-Minus 10 until the nuking of Sweden, eh”. Yeah. That’s the way Canada has their nuclear arms program set-up. Maybe that’s Justin Trudeau’s contribution to the Canadian people? Right. Wrestling time, she comes. That’s Italian.
Best Moment:
The Sky’s The Limit (All Elite Wrestling) – Scorpio Sky got to beat Chris Jericho in Jericho’s first loss in Aew.

Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the continued build toward Bound For Glory, with more qualifiers for the X-Division Title Ladder Match. Let’s see if Callis and D’Amore have any surprises planned for Bfg, or are they just spinning their wheels in the name of staying employed.
Match #1: Ace Austin def. Eddie Edwards – X-Division Championship Ladder Match Qualifier The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:
While Ace is making his way to the ring, a female fan leans over the railing and gives him a smooch. Welcome to this review of Impact Wrestling’s United We Stand, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and it’s time to see if this was any good.
Match #1: Impact World Champion Johnny Impact def. Jake Crist, Dante, Pat Buck & Ace Austin – #1 Contenders Match for the X-Division Championship
My Opinion: 3 out of 5 – This turned out just fine, but I wish that it…you know what I’m going to say…lasted longer. The spots looked excellent and the pace was swift, so it all moved along quite well.
Match #2: Team Lucha Underground def. Team Impact
My Opinion: 2.5 out of 5 – The action was a bit lame, but at least some very talented wrestlers got another shot at showing what they can do. In some ways, this might be the final time we see Lucha Underground in any facet, so there’s that, at least.
Match #3: Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie def.
