Led by Brad Pitt, the zombie blockbuster World War Z is finally hitting cinemas today, and we’re looking forward to seeing how the numbers rack up at the box office.
The film has some very strong competition from Pixar’s Monsters University, which opens in the States today as well, along with Zack Snyder’s immense Man of Steel, which is heading into its second weekend following a record-breaking debut.
Despite early negative press, Marc Forster’s zombie film has been gaining some traction in recent weeks. And with Brad Pitt taking centre stage in a film unlike any we’ve seen from him before, I’m confident that audiences will be heading out to see World War Z at the multiplex. And to help them get there, Paramount have released two new clips to showcase a bit of the action we’ve got coming our way this weekend.

Brad Pitt is just a few weeks away from returning to the multiplex in World War Z, which promises to be the zombie blockbuster of the year, unlike anything the genre has seen before.
The latest poster arrived at the start of the week, giving us a look at Pitt ushering his on-screen family to safety. And following on nicely from that come six new banners, via Total Film, in which we get a look at why he’s so concerned about his family, showing us the destruction that’s taken hold all over the globe.

Pitt stars alongside an excellent cast, led by Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, Lucy Aharish, Matthew Fox, Bryan Cranston, Abigail Hargrove, Sterling Jerins, and David Morse.

We’ve got less than a month to wait for World War Z to hit the big screen, and things are definitely looking good for the Brad Pitt-led zombie blockbuster.
The film will be making its world premiere in London this coming Sunday, followed by a free gig from Muse, whose music is set to appear in the movie. And ahead of this weekend’s bow, we’ve got a brand new poster to share, with Pitt and his on-screen looking for shelter.

The zombie blockbuster of the year hits theatres in just under a month, and with Brad Pitt front and centre, I can’t wait to see how World War Z unfolds.
We’ve already had one box office-topping zombie movie this year in Jonathan Levine’s Warm Bodies, and it will be interesting to see if World War Z will be the second this summer. It will of course be facing some tough competition with Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel playing in only its second week, which is exactly why it’s going to be interesting to see how the numbers come in in mid-June.
We’ve already seen a handful of action-packed new TV spots this week. And now we’ve got a new poster to share, similar in style to the poster we saw last month, but this time showing Brad Pitt, gun at the ready, on...

With Brad Pitt front and centre for the zombie blockbuster, there’s no way that I’m not seeing World War Z when it hits the cinema. The film promises to be a zombie movie quite unlike any we’ve seen before, going for the huge scope that’s relatively unknown to the typically lower-budgeted genre.
I’ve been hugely impressed by all that we’ve seen from the film so far, and its June release date can’t come fast enough in my books. And with that date fast approaching, Paramount have released two action-packed new TV spots, giving us another great look at some of the explosive sequences in the movie.

Paramount have already been having a strong year at the box office so far, most recently debuting Star Trek Into Darkness in UK cinemas ahead of the blockbuster’s release in the Us this Friday. And with Abrams’ blockbuster all but guaranteed success, eyes will soon start turning to the next film on the studio’s slate: World War Z.
Brad Pitt is front and centre of the zombie blockbuster, and it’s been some time since we’ve seen him take on a role like this. If you ask me, its June 21st release date can’t come fast enough.
The latest trailer hit back in March, giving us an even better look at what promises to be one of the best movies of the summer. And now two new images have surfaced online, showing Pitt alongside his on-screen family.

Led by the ever-brilliant Brad Pitt, World War Z promises to be one of the year’s best blockbusters.
Outside of the Resident Evil franchise, it’s the first big-budget zombie movie we’ve seen in some time. And having recently debuted an awesome new trailer last month, followed by a great IMAX poster, the anticipation is definitely on the rise for its summer release.

Starring alongside Pitt will be Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, Lucy Aharish, Matthew Fox, Bryan Cranston, Abigail Hargrove, Sterling Jerins, and David Morse.
Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace) is behind the camera, directing from a script by Matthew Michael Carnahan (The Kingdom), based on the original novel by Max Brooks, with Drew Goddard (Cloverfield) doing re-writes for the re-shoots.

We’re less than three months from World War Z landing on the big screen, and it’s starting to look more and more like Paramount have got a big hit on their hands. The stakes are high for the studio, with high production costs and expensive re-shoots putting the budget up higher than anticipated.
But with Brad Pitt taking the lead in this zombie blockbuster, we’re expecting the box office numbers to be big.
Following the epic first trailer we saw last year, and the Super Bowl TV Spot that landed last month, the second full trailer has debuted online, along with a new poster, giving us a greater look at the apocalyptic chaos we have coming our way in a few months’ time.
