Warner Bros. has just released the first official clip from David Ayer's hotly-anticipated Suicide Squad. The film, set in the world of DC Comics, is coming out in a few weeks and the studio wants to give you a real taste of what to expect.
This Suicide Squad clip introduces us to Cara Delevingne's Enchantress:
It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying,...

A series of new promo spots were released for the villainous Suicide Squad team, and they are done in the same style of those colorful character posters that were previously released. I’ve really enjoyed the marketing for this film as it makes it look like the movie is going to be an absolute blast! The character introductions in these videos are incredibly fun, and the one for Enchantress even gives us a different look for the character. She is the character that Task Force X is brought together to go after, and in the process they learn there’s a bigger villain they are up against called The Adversary, which you can read more about here.

A couple days ago, WB released the official "Heathens" music video, which is a song from the Suicide Squad album. Now, they've released yet another music video.
This time around, it's the explicit song "Sucker for Pain" featuring Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and Imagine Dragons. Like with "Heathens," this music largely features a lot of footage from the trailers of the film, though there are a few extra extensions of previously-seen shots in here. And also like the music video before, most of the footage is from Belle Reve, with a few limited shots outside of what we assume to be the opening sequence. There is also definitely a bit more of a focus on the Joker this time around, but it's nothing significant.
Check out the music video for yourself below!

Caesar Romero, Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger. These are names of actors who have portrayed the iconic Clown Prince of Crime in live-action. With each actor we've received a radially different interpretation. Romero's was off-the-wall and silly, Nicholson's was the equivalent of a mob boss, and Ledger's was a maniacal terrorist who just wanted to "watch the world burn."
Whoever followed up this legacy would have his hands full, and luckily for us fans, they turned to quite the talent to do so: Oscar-winner Jared Leto.
What we've seen so far has been quite the interesting look. He's covered in tats, has a mean grill, and looks like a mix between a mob boss and the leader to a street gang. Some folks may roll their eyes at some parts of his look, and some have gone as to condemn it as an awful instance of disrespectful cultural appropriation, but either way,...

Over the weekend, director David Ayer released the best poster for Suicide Squad yet! I absolutely love its explosive, colorful flare. Unlike most movie posters, this thing has a style and attitude that seems to perfectly represent the kind of movie that this is going to be. This poster says that this movie is going to be a freakin’ blast! The poster came with the caption, "Skwad Up people!"
Contrast that with the Batman v Superman posters that really had no personality at all, just a bunch of brooding superheroes that we were going to watch fight. Well, ok… maybe that did represent the movie they were made for.
Anyway! Suicide Squad looks like it’s going to be a ton of fun, and I can wait to see it. The movie comes out on August 5th, 2016.

Today we have the full collection of those character logos as well as a new poster released by director David Ayer.

As the annual New York Toy Fair gets further underway, great images have surfaced from ToyArk and they showcase the many toys on display for the Suicide Squad adaptation. Though we previously saw the realistic DC Collectibles statues based on Deadshot, Katana, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, El Diablo, Captain Boomerang and the Joker, below you can get an even closer look. Plus, we have a first look at Funko’s Pop! Vinyl, Plush and Dorbz figures based on the aforementioned Task Force X members as well as the Enchantress. That was a pretty awesome, new trailer for Suicide Squad, right? It's definitely jumped up a few spots on my list of most anticipated comic book movies of 2016. David Ayer's mix of military might & bullets with magic & mysticism looks to be a colorful acid trip that could be the box office sleeper of the year. What did you think of the new trailer? This poster for David Ayer's Suicide Squad channels the Joker's familiar purple and green and even gives us a smiley face. Just how much of a factor will the Clown Prince of Crime play in the film? Does Amanda Waller dispatch Task Force X to stop the Joker? If Waller put the Joker "in a hole and threw away the hole" how does he escape? With so much attention on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice we surprisingly know very little about the second Dceu film arriving in theaters this August. Though the steady stream of set photos that once leaked from the set of David Ayer’s Suicide Squad has slowed immensely over the last few weeks, we’ve just been reminded that the titular antihero team are still in action, as several of the film’s stars have once again been spotted on set in Toronto.
While not as exciting as the photos of Batman or an altercation between the Joker and Harley Quinn, these new photos do show several cast members in costume, and even the bust of Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s Killer Croc.
Margot Robbie is once again in costume as fan-favorite femme fatale Harley Quinn, while Will Smith’s Deadshot is seen in an orange prison jumpsuit. That is presumably a scene that takes place before the Squad gets together – unless of course the deadly assassin winds up behind bars at another point during the film.

We’ve already seen the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice half of Warner Brothers’ Las Vegas Licensing Expo presentation, and now the DC villains have taken their share of the spotlight, as the official logo for Suicide Squad has been revealed.
Warner Brothers has obviously taken the, “If it’s not broken, don’t fix it,” approach to the logo, as it’s the exact same one used for the New 52 Suicide Squad comics. While the logo isn’t terribly exciting, it does confirm that Suicide Squad will be the actual title of the film, as there was some question over whether or not WB would change it or add some kind of subtitle, as the word “Suicide” comes with dark and negative connotations.

In recent weeks, the stream of set photos emerging from David Ayer’s Suicide Squad have largely focused on the confrontation between Jared Leto’s The Joker and The Caped Crusader, but today’s behind-the-scenes images drag Task Force X back into the limelight.

One question that loomed large over the array of behind-the-scenes photos surfacing from the Toronto set of Suicide Squad was whether the images risked exposing every plot detail for David Ayer’s villain-centric feature more than a year from release. In fact, those of you keeping close tabs on the project will have already seen The Joker and Harley Quinn in costume, the Batmobile in action and images of strange creatures invading the production.
According to the director himself, though, fans needn’t worry about finding out too much about the specifics of the film via the Internet, as the so-called “surprises” very much remain intact. Taking to Twitter, here’s what Ayer had to share as Suicide Squad wrapped up its exterior shooting.

Just when you thought you got your daily fix of Suicide Squad photos, Just Jared goes ahead and serves up what is arguably the best look at Ben Affleck’s Batsuit to date – well, Affleck’s stunt double, but it’s a good look nonetheless.
Showcasing The Caped Crusader latching on to Harley Quinn and The Joker’s supercar as it tears through the streets of Toronto, these images are slightly different from what we’ve seen before in that Margot Robbie’s unhinged femme fatale is riding shotgun. Of course, given that David Ayer’s superhero flick is very much in the early stages of production, the director could be experimenting with various takes of the same action sequence, particularly when you factor in those stills from last week that showcased Jared Leto’s street criminal pursuing Quinn in the same modified car.

By the looks of things it's also Jared Leto's double driving the car, even though that's unmistakably Margot Robbie as Harley in the passenger's seat. Anyway, we still get some great snaps of the full costume (minus the cape), and it can't be long until we get to see that first face-off between Affleck's Batman amd Jared Leto's Joker. Update: Screencrush has added a few more hi-res pics like the one below. Click Here to see the rest. Directed by David Ayer from his script, Suicide Squad stars Will Smith (Deadshot), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jared Leto (the Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Jessie Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc...

From behind-the-scenes snaps of strange creatures to The Joker and Harley Quinn’s lovers’ tiff, it’s fair to say that fans have been a little spoilt for choice considering that the DC adaptation is still over a year out.
It’s a trend that looks set to continue unabated, however, as today a slew of high-res screenshots have arrived hot on the heels of yesterday’s images, which captured Batman’s first appearance on the Canadian set. Fast forward a mere twenty-four hours and the latest batch includes a better look at the chase scene, with Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader locking onto The...

With his trusty vehicular companion already spotted on the set of David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, it was only a matter of time before The Caped Crusader himself showed up to foil the Joker’s party on the streets of Toronto. As if Jared Leto’s psychotic criminal didn’t already have his hands full with his eclectic love interest Harley Quinn, the latest stream of videos hitting the interwebs showcase Ben Affleck’s Batman hitching a ride on the roof of the Joker’s flashy sports car.
This is the first footage of The World’s Greatest Detective from the production, after his involvement in Ayer’s villain-centric feature first broke a few weeks back. How exactly this ties into the overarching plot and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice remains to be seen – for instance, will Jared Leto cameo in Zack Snyder’s titanic film next year? – but...

David Ayer's Suicide Squad adaptation has been filming on location for about three weeks now, but last night, we finally caught a glimpse of Jared Leto in action as the Joker alongside Margot Robbie as Harleen Quinzel. Several shots from a distance had caught what appears to be a flashback or early scene in the movie, in which the two characters have quite a domestic dispute, but Just Jared has now provided much better photos from the Toronto, Canada, shoot. Check them out below! Directed by David Ayer from his script, Suicide Squad stars Will Smith (Deadshot), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jared Leto (the Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Jessie Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), with Raymond Olubawale (King Shark), Jay Hernandez, Ike Barinholtz, Jim Parrack, Adam Beach, and Scott Eastwood. The latest spy videos from the set of Suicide Squad capture Deadshot and Rick Flag leading their well-armed team into a building. It's possible some other members of Task Force X are present, but it's difficult to make anyone else out in these vids anyway. Also, Jared Leto has announced via Twitter that he's back in Toronto with freshly shaved eyebrows, ready to get back into the role of the Joker, so there's a chance we might catch a glimpse of him shooting scenes over the next few days. Another day, another image from the set of David Ayer’s hotly anticipated Suicide Squad. Though most comic-book fanboys and girls and still busy freaking out over Jared Leto’s tattooed Joker, also exciting is Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s transformation into the scaly, scary Killer Croc.
Thanks to Twitter user @Thalia_ww, we now have a shot of the full practical effects being applied daily to Akinnuoye-Agbaje so that he can look the part of the DC Comics villain, a career criminal born with a rare form of regressive atavism, which means he demonstrates traits from ancestral species of the human race – including reptiles. It’s intriguing that Ayer chose to create the look with practical physical effects instead of CGI, but you can’t argue with his results.
How Ayer plans to explain that backstory and still fit in the rest of the characters he’s enlisting remains to be seen.

Warner Bros.
With more than a year until David Ayer’s supervillain team-up movie hits cinemas (and with leaks sprouting all over the place) the Fury director has bucked the trend of his DC directing stable-mates by showing what’s under the skirt of his movie pretty early. So far, he’s been drip-feeding, but with increasingly annoyed reactions to some of his characters leaking, he dropped an almighty amount of information in one go, revealing nine as yet unseen (mostly characters).
There are still holes to fill in: Viola Davis’ Amanda Waller is still under wraps, there’s no sign of whoever Common is playing and both Ike Barinholtz’s Hugo Strange and Raymond Olubawale’s King Shark are yet to rear their heads. In the case of the latter, that’s probably because he’s going to be mostly CGI, of course. Unless they have some seriously talented animal trainers.

We're still not sure if that recent image of Leto seemingly showing a pal a pic of himself in full character as The Joker is legit, but these pics taken by Just Jared certainly are. True he's only in his civvies here, but his shining green hair is on display beneath his hat. Nothing particularly revealing given we've already had that selfie from the actor, but it's something to keep us talking while we await that official image of the character many seem to feel must be on the way. Some further character reveals have come to light regarding David Ayer's adaptation of the DC Comics title "Suicide Squad" at Warner Bros. Pictures.
First up, "Lost" actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is reportedly set to play Batman villain Killer Croc according to The Wrap.
In the comics, Waylon Jones is a man who was born with a form of atavism which gave him reptilian traits. Initially a human with bad skin, more recent comics have seen his appearance become more and more reptilian-like.
The report also suggests that the recently cast Scott Eastwood and Ray Olubowale will be playing Wonder Woman's boyfriend Steve Trevor and the super villain King Shark.
On top of that, Latino Review reports that the just cast Karen Fukuhara will be playing Plastique in the film in a scene set in a nightclub.
Production on "Suicide Squad" is scheduled to begin next month in Toronto.

David Ayer’s Suicide Squad adaptation has gained two new cast members in the form of Fury and The Longest Ride actor Scott Eastwood, and bodyguard-turned-boxer-turned-actor Ray Olubowale, known best as the Axe Man in the Resident Evil franchise. Who they are playing remains a mystery, but that hasn’t stopped the internet hype machine from jumping into full-on speculation mode.
Eastwood – the son of iconic actor/director Clint Eastwood – was first spotted in Toronto alongside Suicide Squad member Cara Delevingne and confirmed his involvement in an interview with Canadian news outlet eTalk. Some have already begun to speculate that Eastwood has landed a major role in the film, but frankly, there just aren’t many of those to go around at this point. It’s more likely that he’s landed a smaller supporting role, perhaps as a military figure or inmate from either Arkham Asylum or Belle Reeve prison.

Resident Evil: Afterlife kicks off right where its predecessor Extinction faded away; Alice and her little army of clones hit the insidious and evil Umbrella Corporation hard in Tokyo. The Japanese based installation is overrun and destroyed, and all of the clones are destroyed along with it - a heavy (and slightly convenient) toll. Worse is that Alice drops her common sense in order to deliver a cheesy one-liner, which sets her up to get hypodermically pricked by trickster mastermind and incredibly snappy dresser Albert Wesker. Alice is injected with a compound that effectively strips her of her oh wow super T-Virus powers. It is back to guns for Alice.
