If you enjoy watching Carrington catfights and drama, you won't find them in the 2022-23 broadcast season. The CW has cancelled the Dynasty series so, we won't see a sixth season of the reboot. The fifth season is currently airing and, at this point, looks like it will keep running through June. It's unclear when the last episode will be released.

There will be no Season 6 for the CW’s Dynasty. The CW has opted not to renew the reboot of the iconic 1980s soap, and it will end with the current fifth season.
Dynasty was considered among the most vulnerable CW series to snag a renewal. It was the victim of disappointing ratings and its previous renewals, along with 4400, had been motivated by the money the series generates for CBS Studios through the show’s Netflix deal.
Dynasty hails from Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, CBS Studios and Fake Empire. Schwartz and Savage teamed with Revenge writer-producer Sallie Patrick and the original series’ creators, husband-and-wife duo Esther Shapiro & Richard Shapiro, for a new modern-day reboot of the classic Aaron Spelling-produced ABC series.

Pour one out for the Carringtons — The CW’s Dynasty reboot has been canceled after five seasons.
As of April 26, Dynasty this season is averaging 410,000 total weekly viewers and a 0.1 demo rating (with Live+7 playback factored in), which is right on par with its Season 4 tallies. Out of the 19 dramas The CW has aired this TV season, it ranks dead last in audience and is among seven that muster just a 0.1 rating.

“Charmed,” “Dynasty,” “Roswell, New Mexico” and “In the Dark” have been canceled at The CW, Variety has learned.
Both “Roswell, New Mexico” and “In the Dark” have already completed filming on their upcoming seasons and will conclude after those episodes have aired.
Also canceled Thursday by the younger-skewing broadcast network were “Naomi” and “4400.”
Based on the original WB/CW series of the same name, “Charmed” was currently airing its fourth season. The reboot starred Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, Lucy Barrett, Rupert Evans and Jordan Donica. During the show’s first three seasons, Madeleine Mantock was the lead, playing the three sisters at the center of the series along with Diaz and Jeffrey. Barrett joined the show for Season 4 following Mantock’s exit.
Hailing from CBS Studios and Propagate Content, “Charmed” is executive produced by Jeffrey Lieber, Nicki Renna and Joey Falco, Kevin Dowling, Jennie Snyder Urman, Ben Silverman, Brad Silberling,...

The drama is flowing on Dynasty Season 5!
It sure sounds like things are going to get crazier on Dynasty Season 5 Episode 5, airing March 25 on The CW at 9 p.m.
"Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) and Liam (Adam Huber) go to work on their new plan," reads the official logline, hinting that there's some unity between the show's central couple.
If you watch Dynasty online, you know their relationship hit another snag in the form of their chat about having children.
The pair have worked on their relationship of late, and hopefully, they are able to navigate this latest hurdle in a mature way.
The show has a real opportunity to show that the continued tension between Fallon and Liam is not phoned in to increase the drama.
"As Sam (Rafael de la Fuente) works on his own work/life balance, a guest at La Mirage gives him something to think about," the logline adds.

Fallon Carrington could be dead.
The CW has dropped the first trailer for Dynasty Season 5, and, well, it sounds like the first two episodes will be a somber affair.
While Blake is seen getting the mansion prepared for Christmas, he doesn't seem to be in the festive mood.
If you watch Dynasty online, you know Dynasty Season 4 wrapped with Eva turning a gun on Fallon, leaving fans to ponder her future.
The only positive is that The CW is airing the first two episodes of Dynasty Season 5 on December 20, before the series goes on hiatus until March.
The two-episode premiere landed a place on the network's holiday roster because, well, they were filmed and had a holiday theme.
Fallon is nowhere to be seen in the trailer, but Liam looks super upset in a quick glimpse.
In fact, everyone is clearly struggling to comprehend recent events, but this being Dynasty,...

Are you ready to celebrate Christmas with the Carringtons?
Dynasty Season 4 concluded with Fallon shot, Alexis in jail for a murder she did not commit, and more drama for the characters.
Thankfully, The CW is giving fans a holiday treat on Monday, December 20, in the form of the first two episodes of Dynasty Season 5.
The network also revealed a wealth of plot details, and if we're to read between the lines, Fallon Carrington is gone.
Then again, the network knows this is a massive cliffhanger that will be resolved throughout the two-hour Holiday special, so Fallon could likely have survived.
"Fallout from Blake's (Grant Show) gala finally begins to settle and Blake and Cristal (Daniella Alonso) work on the next phase of his campaign," reads the logline for the first half of the event.
"In his hour of need, Liam (Adam Huber) turns to Sam (Rafael de la Fuente) and...

Are you ready to say goodbye to the Carringtons?
Dynasty Season 4 Episode 22 will conclude the current season of the soapy drama, and it's going to be a lot of fun.
"Blake (Grant Show) and Cristal (Daniella Alonso) work together on the new obstacles threatening Blake's senatorial campaign," reads the official logline from the network.
If you watch Dynasty online, you know the series has laned heavily on Blake's pursuit of power on a political front.
With the season finale upon us, we can expect some wild developments on the back of it.
We'll probably also get a throwback to a moment from the past for good measure.
But, what will happen between Fallon, Liam, and Eva?
"Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) turns to Amanda (guest star Eliza Bennett) for help regarding Liam (Adam Huber) and their marriage."
We know Eva is ready to change everything for Liam and Fallon, thanks to her manipulation.

Fallon's devotion to Fallon Unlimited is messing with her relationship.
The CW has dropped plot details for Dynasty Season 4 Episode 17, and, well, there might be some good news on the horizon.
"Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) remains hyper-focused on Fallon Unlimited, but realizes she needs some time with Liam (Adam Huber)," the description begins.
If you watch Dynasty online, you know Eva has been getting closer to Liam, regularly trying to help him when she doesn't need to.
Some comments from her would not sit well with Fallon, but this being Dynasty, we should prepare for Falliam to be tested like never before.
"Kirby (Maddison Brown) returns to the Manor and begins to make amends with those she hurt, with help from Sam (Rafael de la Fuente)," the logline continues.
Yes, Kirby is finally back, and we're sure there's going to be a lot of tension on the back of it.

Eliza Bennett has been cast in the role of Amanda Carrington on The CW’s “Dynasty.”
Bennett joins Season 4 in a recurring guest star role, with her first episode being “The British Are Coming” on Aug. 27. She will be a series regular in the forthcoming fifth season.
The original 1980s primetime soap opera “Dynasty” featured Catherine Oxenberg in the role of Amanda for the first three years of the character’s existence. (Her apt entrance was in the fifth season episode titled “Amanda.”) Karen Cellini stepped in in recasting.
This version of Amanda is described as a long-lost Carrington relative who was born and raised in Europe but arrives now “holding a treasure trove of secrets” — both from her past, as well as the Carrington family’s past. She is also described as smart and confident, a character who can hold her own against those who come at her. She is a lawyer,...

If there's one thing Dynasty Season 4 has lacked, it's the complicated dynamic between Fallon and Alexis.
Thankfully, Dynasty Season 4 Episode 15 puts the focus back on the fraught relationship between the mother and daughter.
"With Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) occupied by her business ventures, Liam (Adam Huber) is left feeling neglected and Fallon and Alexis (Elaine Hendrix) are at odds once again," the official logline reads.
If you watch Dynasty online, you know these two love getting into an argument and it gives Gillies and Hendrix a fun dynamic to work with.
The sad thing is that it looks like Liam's tale will be tied to it. The show has sort of forgotten about Liam this season, regularly putting him on the backburner, so hopefully that changes.
As for Alexis, she's going to be in a world of trouble when the truth inevitably comes out that she's partly responsible for Kirby going off the deep end.

Spoiler Alert: The following story contains details from Friday’s episode of Dynasty.
In the latest episode of The CW’s Dynasty, we finally learned who is being mourned at the funeral, which has been teased since the season premiere.
That would be Joseph Anders, the beloved majordomo of the Carrington family, played by Alan Dale.
According to TVLine, it was the beginning of the end for Anders when he suffered an injury to his ribs, while saving Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) and Liam (Adam Huber) from a pair of kidnappers.
The injury didn’t lead directly to the butler’s death. But while driving to the hospital to visit Cristal (Daniella Alonso), who has been undergoing treatments for a brain tumor, the resulting pain distracted him, causing him to crash his car.
Dale had been a series regular on Dynasty since it debuted in 2017. His final episode, “Go Rescue Someone Else,...

Dynasty is throwing more soap our way than ever during its fourth season, airing Fridays at 9/8c on The CW.
Looking ahead to Dynasty Season 4 Episode 6, there is way more drama on tap than before.
While the network doesn't release traditional 30-second spots for the series, they reveal many of the plot details in advance, so at least we have something to chew on until the next episode airs.
"With Blake (Grant Show) and Fallon's (Elizabeth Gillies) new agreement in place, Fallon sets out to make sure everyone knows who's the boss," reads the network's official description of the next episode titled, "A Little Father-Daughter Chat."
Indeed, Dynasty Season 4 Episode 5 concluded with Blake thinking he had way more power after Fallon asked him to work with her.
Unbeknownst to him, she didn't want him to have that much power. She merely thought he'd be an asset to her team, and...

Gag-a-day cartoons are a wonderful and mysterious art, a triumph of style and viewpoint, precise phrasing and engaging drawing, with a clear point of view and a world that can be encapsulated in four panels but expands with four new panels every day for as long as the cartoonist is inspired.
Well, good gag-a-day cartoons are like that. We also have Blondie and Garfield.
Bug Martini , though, is a good gag-a-day cartoon. It’s been running for about a dozen years, and its creator, Adam Huber, finally put together a physical-book collection of the strip this past year, gathering the first year of strips under the title Born a Doofus.
So this book starts with the first strip and runs through the strip for October 18, 2010 . It also includes, in the back, about a dozen sketchbook pages about the pre-history of his “bug” main character, but the real draw is the comics themselves,...

Have you picked your jaw off the floor yet?
Dynasty Season 4 Episode 2 was one of The CW drama's finest hours yet, and it was all thanks to the plots moving forward in wild new directions.
This is going to be an excellent season.
Fallon and Liam's wedding was never going to be a drama-free affair.
If you watch Dynasty online, you know their entire relationship has been embroiled in drama due to their families and people they have in their social circle.
It's been difficult for fans, but taking the wedding somewhere other than Carrington manor, actually made it feel more personal.
Evan showing up to ruin the day was hardly surprising. It was foreshadowed on Dynasty Season 4 Episode 1, but at least we got to see Fallon and Liam's love burning bright one more time.
Elizabeth Gillies and Adam Huber are killing it, and it's no wonder the fans believe...

Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren't considered, we invite you to rate all of the fourth season episodes of Dynasty here.

"Which one of these houses do you live in?" Don't forget your mask! Or else. This creepy new horror short is from filmmakers Zak White and Todd Spence, the same duo that makes lots of horror shorts all year long for Midnight Video. Face Mask is their latest creation, a social commentary horror about the pandemic and dangerous anti-mask idiots, as well as a very unsettling short with a wicked twist. When one man takes the trash out and is confronted by a neighbor one night, things get a bit tense. Starring Bill Parmentier and Zachary Allen Farmer. The mask guy's look and voice and everything about him is just so creepy. Spence & White, who let Adam Huber & Dan Allen direct this one, are always so good about taking a simple concept and making it super scary with some discomforting filmmaking tricks. And also writing something that comments on the...

How many shady people can take up residence on a single show?
Well, Dynasty Season 3 Episode 6 proved that the answer is a whole lot and then some.
It's hard to tell who's the shadiest at this point. Is it Evan Tate? Is it Adam Carrington? Is it his nurse Nadia?
Is it Dominique? Or is it self-help speaker Joel Turner?
Every single one of these people is working an angle and has a hidden agenda, and quite frankly, it's becoming a little hard to keep up.
Even Blake Carrington is up to no good, but that's the least surprising part of the episode honestly.
Fallon: I am working on removing the other "L" word from my vocabulary.
Monica: "Love" or "Liam"?
Fallon: Both. I need to work on forgetting Liam, which is ironic.
Permalink: Both. I need to work on forgetting Liam, which is ironic. Added: November 15, 2019

Because it's Friday night and I just-just-just got paid.
Oh, sorry, I'm just keeping the musical spirit alive after watching Dynasty Season 3 Episode 4.
This was the musical episode we never knew we needed or wanted.
Some parts were great, mainly anytime Fallon or, surprisingly, Adam delivered a tune.
Other moments could have been autotuned a bit more or left out completely. Sorry, Cristal.
But overall, it was an enjoyable musical that made the singing feel as organic as possible through Fallon's hallucinations.
Her reaction to seeing these musical numbers play out was priceless.

Adam's musical moments were so enjoyable, I'd even go as far as saying that I warmed up to him slightly because of the energy he brought to the screen.
And I enjoyed Blake and Adam's father-and-son duet way more than I should have.

Dynasty is getting the band back together. Elaine Hendrix, who co-starred opposite Elizabeth Gillies on FX’s Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, is stepping into the role of Alexis Carrington, TVLine has learned.
This makes Hendrix the third actress to portray the iconic character on The CW’s Dynasty reboot. Nicollette Sheridan originated the role midway through Season 1, with Gillies (via the magic of plastic surgery) temporarily taking over in Season 2, following Sheridan’s abrupt exit.

Who would have thought that we'd ever see Fallon rock a highlighter-orange vest and get her hands dirty in a garden?
There's a first time for everything.
Fallon leveled up on Dynasty Season 3 Episode 3, and it's a welcome change for the socialite who has never done manual labor in her life.
Fallon is the show's strongest character, but she's even better when she's owning up to her mistakes and learning necessary lessons.
Seeing her take responsibility for her actions when she very easily could have paid someone off offers a change of pace for the character and her development.
But what's even better is that while atoning for her crimes, Fallon realized that the punishment, much like Evan pointed out, didn't fit the crime.
Cristal: Count me out. I'm definitely not partying while Blake is in jail.
Fallon: Really? Seems like the perfect time to me. Oh, don't go all wicked stepmother on me now.

Adam Huber plays the uber dreamy Liam Ridley, the latest addition to the Dynasty cast.
Huber scored the title of series regular ahead of Dynasty Season 3.
But even without the coveted upgrade, the heartthrob has been a fan favorite since his debut on Dynasty Season 1 Episode 15, you know, the episode where he married Fallon, a complete stranger, on a whim.
Since then, Fallon and Liam have had a tumultuous yet epic relationship.
Nothing about their relationship has been conventional.
After they overcame a love triangle with Culhane, a messy situation with Liam's uncle, a divorce, and Fallon's attempts at winning him back from Ashley, it seemed liked things were going to work out.

Fallon's seeing dead people on Dynasty Season 3 Episode 1.
It's been a long and uneventful few months without the Carringtons antics, but despite the break, the series wasted no time addressing all the shocking cliffhangers.
The guilt Fallon is feeling stems from divers, hired by Adam, pulling two dead bodies -- Trixie and Mark -- out from the little lake in the Manor's backyard.
Finding the dead bodies forced both Anders and Blake to come clean about their involvement in the murder.
And then, the family did what they do best and banded together to bury the truth and keep the police from finding any incriminating evidence.
Just another day in the Carrington household.
Covering their tracks included Adam sneaking into the morgue to "switch up" the body tags so that the cops wouldn't find Blake's DNA all over.

All families have a few skeletons in the closet, or in the case of the Carringtons, a few corpses in the lake. Dynasty returned for its third season on Friday, picking up moments after those bodies were discovered — and by the end of the hour, an arrest was made.
The family did a decent job of skirting around any responsibility during the police’s initial round of questioning, but as the guilt surrounding Trixie’s death began to weigh on Fallon, the comeback queen cracked under pressure. This is a different bit of casting news for The CW's Dynasty.
Whenever there are cast changes for the reboot, they almost always include a beloved series regular exiting.
However, just hours ahead of Dynasty Season 3, it has been revealed that four cast members have been promoted to series regular status.
TV Line is reporting that Adam Huber, who plays Liam Ridley on the first two seasons of the series, has finally landed a series regular contract.
It's surprising the network confirmed the news before Dynasty Season 3 Episode 1 airing given that Dynasty Season 2 concluded with Liam's fate very much up in the air.
Still, this will be music to the ears of the fans that have been clamoring for more of Liam ever since his debut on the series.
Liam shares a strong connection with Fallon, and one that fans picked up on from the get-go.

We’ll be seeing more of Cristal Jennings in the third season of the CW’s Dynasty. Daniella Alonso, who joined the series in a recasting in July, has been promoted to series regular for season 3, which premieres tonight. Additionally, recurring actors Michael Michele, who plays Dominique Devereaux, Sam Underwood, who portrays Adam Carrington, and Adam Huber, who plays Liam, all will be series regulars in the new season.
Dynasty has gone through major casting changes over the past two seasons. One of the original leads, Nathalie Kelley, departed at the end of Season 1. The role of Cristal was recast with Ana Brenda Contreras, who was replaced with Alonso as the series headed into season 3. Additionally, Elizabeth Gillies recently took over the role of Alexis from Nicollette Sheridan.

Ken Kirby is ready to jump into the soapy prime time drama of Dynasty. The Good Trouble actor is set to recur on the CW reboot of the iconic series in the role of Evan Tate, Trixie’s (Jessi Goei) older brother. “Breaking and Exiting” is the first directorial feature for actor Peter Facinilli, and first produced screenplay for actor-turned-producer/star Jordan Hinson. One hopes it was a good learning experience for all, because from a viewer’s perspective, the results don’t provide much reward.
This wafer-thin seriocomedy, basically one long meet-cute between a burglar and a suicidal woman, feels padded even at just 78 minutes. Whatever the promise of that premise, very little happens in the way of narrative or character development, which leaves the film over-reliant on a central chemistry (Milo Gibson is Hinson’s co-lead) that isn’t really there.
Despite surface polish, this indie feels like a classroom exercise that checks off the basic technical and narrative-beat boxes needed to get a passing grade, yet never develops any real personality of its own or raison d’etre. Freestyle Digital Media launches the film in limited theatrical release simultaneous with VOD on Aug.

"I think you're making a mistake, I think you could be happy..." Freestyle Digital Media has debuted an official trailer for a dark romantic comedy titled Breaking & Exiting, the feature directorial debut of actor Peter Facinelli (who does not have a role in the film). The pitch for this is rather odd - it's about a thief who breaks in to a woman's home and discovers her about to kill herself. So, as the logline says, he "decides to save her from herself, sending both of them into a darkly comedic journey of self-discovery and love." But of course. The cast is lead by Milo Gibson and Jordan Hinson, who also wrote the screenplay; along with Adam Huber, Joaquim de Almeida, Justine Wachsberger, James Kyson, Lily Anne Harrison, and Cecile Cubilo. This doesn't look so bad, but doesn't look so good either. If you're curious, take a look. Here's...
