Chantal is an actress and director from Douala, Cameroun. She studied Shakespeare at the British American Drama Academy at Oxford University with the great John Barton. She earned a BFA at Howard University and a MFA at the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts (U.S.C). At U.S.C, she was the first recipient of the dramatic arts fully endowed scholarship -- the Robert Plumleigh three year scholarship. Upon graduation, Chantal was selected by John Power, VP at Warner Bros for a one-on-one meeting, and selected by a panel of industry professional judges to receive the Ava Greenwald Memorial Scholarship for outstanding M.F.A actor at U.S.C. She is the first U.S.C MFA student to be cast in the non-equity company at the renowned Williamstown Theatre Festival, where she played the lead role of Ella in Sam Shepard's Curse of a Starving Class. Chantal won best actress at the Queen Palm Film Festival for the role of Michelle in the short film BEAST directed by Ben Strang which won the Grand Prize Jury at SXSW. Chantal is fluent in English, French and Italian. She is a resident faculty member at the Silva Arte e Danza, a musical theatre academy in Siracusa, Italy. Chantal is the founder and designer of Choobiz, a luxury shoe line made in Italy.
