- Spencer Curnutt is an American actor and musician. He was born in Tipton, IN to Brett Curnutt and Marla Tilley. After graduating high school, he attended the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, where he majored in Musical Theatre. While in college he studied with some of the greatest teachers including Ted Horel, Luis Perez, Tina Paul, Ray Frewen, Bonnie Shadrake, Christine Adair, Keland Scher, Rebbeca Simone, Steve Kruse, and Michael Lasswell. During his junior year of college he was cast in his first movie Trust (2010) playing the son of Golden Globe winner Clive Owen and Catherine Keener. He can also be seen in the films Henry Gamble's Birthday Party (2015) and Warren (2014) playing the son of acclaimed actor John Heard. Since college he has worked in numerous theaters around the country, including Steppenwolf Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Lookingglass theatre, Huntington Theatre, and The Shakespeare Theatre Company of Washington D.C. - Spencer was first cast as Peter in the stage version of Trust at Lookingglass theatre, directed by David Schwimmer, when the film could not find the funding. After the film got green lit, he shot the film and then performed the role on stage in Chicago.
- Spencer quit acting for 2 years so he could play piano and sing at the dueling piano bar Howl at the Moon in Indianapolis, IN. He was then brought back into the acting world by being cast as Ralph in Lord of the Flies at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago. While in Chicago he would still play weekly at the famous piano bar, The Zebra Lounge.
