The Season 11 quarter-finals took place on “The Masked Singer” Wednesday, May 8 on “The Final Four Night.” After singing their hearts out for panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and Rita Ora, Gumball and Poodle Moth landed in the bottom two and were forced to sing for a spot in the semi-finals. The Gumball prevailed, forcing Poodle Moth to reveal herself as Golden Globe nominee Chrissy Metz (“This is Us”). Watch her unmasking above.
“I still think I’m educating people on me being a singer,” she told host Nick Cannon during her unmasked interview. “It was part of the reason why I wanted to do this show. If I’m going to do it, we’re really going full-throttle. You don’t know how much sweat is in this suit. I said, ‘Let me challenge myself,’ and I’m glad I did. I learned a lot about myself.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 11, Episode 10 of “The Masked Singer,” “Quarter Finals: Final Four,” which aired May 8 on Fox.
“This Is Us” star Chrissy Metz knew “The Masked Singer” would be a challenge. But that’s why Metz, who was revealed as latest celebrity to be unmasked on Wednesday night’s quarter finals, figured she had to do it.
“When I watched the show, and I would see either my friends or peers on the show, I’m like, how do they do it?” said Metz, who was revealed as the Poodle Moth. “And it was harder than I thought. I knew it was gonna be like trying, because it’s enough to just stand on the stage and sing. But like to put on a massive costume, to not really know where you’re going and to be led by people in...

The season of the very first sign of the zodiac is here, and that’s exactly why being a leader comes so easy for Aries folks.
And that’s no joke, Aries really don’t know what else to be but a boss, CEO or innovator, because they’d rather play by their own rules. They march to the beat of their own drum and rarely ever need anyone to play backup instrumentals. Their charm, playful personality and great sense of humor make up for their impulsiveness and sometimes hot-temper, and there’s absolutely no other sign who will keep it all the way real with you like an Aries does, even if it’s something you don’t want to hear. They tell it like it is, as dishonesty goes against their entire m.o.
As ambitious as they are — known for being some of the greatest to ever...

Channing Tatum is one of the biggest heartthrobs in Hollywood. He's made us swoon by playing the hunky lead in romantic movies like "Dear John" and "The Vow" and also made us laugh with comedies like "21 Jump Street" and "Magic Mike." Still, we can't forget the movie that made us first fall for him: "Step Up," in which Tatum plays a hip-hop dancer named Tyler Gage opposite Jenna Dewan's Nora Clark. The pair's chemistry throughout the film is on fire, so it was no surprise they eventually took their romance off-screen.
Tatum and Dewan dated each other for three years before tying the knot in 2009. After seven years together, the stars welcomed their first child, a daughter named Everly Tatum, in 2013. However, in 2018, Tatum and Dewan announced their separation after nine years of marriage.

Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum are engaged. Amid a sea of celebrity breakups in recent months, multiple sources confirmed the couple's happy news with People on Oct. 30. The news comes just two days after the pair were spotted leaving a Halloween party, during which Kravitz seemingly showed off her engagement ring.
On the night in question, Kravitz and Tatum dressed up as Rosemary Woodhouse and her baby, respectively, from the 1968 horror movie "Rosemary's Baby." While photos of the couple's Halloween costume went viral, many fans were too distracted by Tatum's baby bonnet and the knife prop in Kravitz's hand to notice the massive diamond engagement ring. Upon closer inspection of her right ring finger, however, she seems to be making no attempt to cover up the ring - a subtle but sweet engagement announcement.

Singer Jessie J has clapped back at critical social comments about her body mere weeks after giving birth to her son, Sky.
The 35-year-old gave birth to Sky in May with basketball player Chanan Safir Colman and has been outspoken on her Instagram regarding life as a new mom.
She recently took to her Instagram story to discuss the “snapback” culture that pressures new moms to lose their pregnancy weight and get back in shape immediately. She said she has fallen victim to the culture, but won’t stand for it.
“Couple of people have said to me, ‘I bet you can’t wait to get your body back,'” she wrote, adding an eye-rolling and shushing emoji. “My reply is… I don’t want to go back. That body is gone. I want my body to go forward. I’m getting my body forward.”

Anna Camp spent the last few years doing something sort of crazy for an actress who loves to work: saying no.
When “Pitch Perfect 3” hit theaters in December 2017, it marked the (maybe) end of the franchise with which Camp is still most closely associated. The half-billion dollar juggernaut about an all-female group of a cappella singers charmed audiences and thrust winsome mashups (Jessie J and Simple Minds?) into the cultural zeitgeist. It also gave Camp and her co-stars Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, and Rebel Wilson the roles that made their careers.
But, as often happens, the series’ popularity threatened to typecast Camp. Her inbox flooded with offers for other type-a achievers, just like her “Pitch Perfect” part Aubrey Posen — a character so uptight that we first meet her as she pukes her guts out during a particularly stressful competition.
That was enough to make Camp nearly quit the industry.

Lorna Courtney gets the crowds at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre to dance and groove in their seats eight times a week in the infectious new musical “& Juliet.” The show utilizes iconic pop hits from songwriter and hitmaker Max Martin to imagine what Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” would look like if Juliet chose to live at the end of the play. But the tuner’s breakout star is quick to assert that there’s a deeper meaning to the story than just bopping along to the catalog of radio hits. “It’s the story of Juliet and her journey through womanhood, and finding herself,” expresses Courtney, “and putting herself first.” Watch the exclusive video interview above.
Higher stakes and themes of empowerment can be heard from the moment that Juliet opens her mouth to sing her first song: “Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears. “Everyone knows that song, but...

What began as an unlikely friendship between three misfit creatures — a sloth, a mammoth believing he was the last of his kind and a saber-toothed tiger that doesn’t want to be violent — in “Ice Age” (2002) has stretched into a storied saga of the trio’s journey through all kinds of realms as warming slowly melts their world across five “Ice Age” movies and one spinoff.
The three friends are brought together by a human baby, whose mother drowns after saving him from saber-toothed tigers trying to hunt her and her child. Sid the sloth (John Leguizamo) and Manny the mammoth (Ray Romano) find the child, and Diego the sabertooth (Denis Leary) joins them on their quest to return him to his father, abandoning his own pack who hunted the kid in the first place.

In the early days of The Beatles, the band performed many gigs at The Cavern Club in Liverpool, England. The band eventually became superstars and moved on to larger venues, and the Cavern Club struggled to recoup the same success it had when the band performed there.

The Beatles first performed at the Cavern Club as The Quarrymen in 1957. However, this was before Paul McCartney, and George Harrison joined the band. In 1960, the band officially changed their name to The Beatles and began making waves in the U.K. In 1961, after recently returning from a residency in Hamburg, Germany, The Beatles, with Pete Best on drums, played a show at the Cavern Club.
In the crowd was Brian Epstein, who became the band’s manager after being impressed by their performance that evening.

The Brits 2023 are officially over for another year, and it was Harry Styles's night. As predicted, the "As It Was" singer took home artist of the year, song of the year, best pop / r&b, and album of the year - marking the start of a very good 2023 for the former One Direction member, having won the best album award at the Grammys just a week earlier. Wet Leg and Beyoncé both won two Brits, while The 1975, Aitch, and Becky Hill also scooped the top prizes.
Styles sweeping the board even saw him enter an exclusive club, unofficially named the "4 Brits Club." Dave Rowntree, the drummer of Blur, tweeted on Feb. 12, "I'd like to welcome @Harry_Styles to the #4BritsClub. It's been a bit lonely with just us and @Adele these past years. Next meeting in March – you can bring the biscuits." While there are artists who have won...

‘This just breaks my f***ing heart’: Ed Sheeran releases poignant freestyle tribute to Jamal Edwards
Ed Sheeran has honoured his late friend Jamal Edwards with a 64-bar freestyle for Sbtv.
On Thursday (19 January), the 31-year-old singer filmed a freestyle track inside an empty Stamford Bridge to pay tribute to Edwards.
Edwards died at the age of 31 in February last year. The cause of his death was a cardiac arrest after using cocaine and drinking alcohol.
He gained fame as the chief executive of Sbtv, which helped to launch the careers of chart-topping artists including Sheeran, Stormzy and Jessie J.
In the tribute track, Sheeran sings: “Therapy sessions, digging deep in depression / I got a life full of blessings, but this just breaks my f***ing heart.
“People find and stop me in the street and say it’s terrible / But they don’t know you like I knew you and they never will.”
In the song, Sheeran also expresses his sadness about Edwards not being...

Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl” Kicked Out of Grammy Rap Category, Will Compete in Pop (Exclusive)
Click here to read the full article.
Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl” is spending its eighth week on top of Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart, but at the Grammys, the song will compete in the pop category.
Minaj originally submitted the track — which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in August — to the rap categories at the Grammys, but the decision was overturned by the Recording Academy’s rap committee, according to a source. That group determined that Minaj’s playful and pop-sounding song sampling Rick James’ 1981 classic “Super Freak” should compete for best pop solo performance instead of rap awards.
Minaj criticized the decision on social media Thursday in an Instagram video post and a series of tweets. “They stay moving the goalposts when it comes to me,” Minaj said on Ig about the academy. “Why is the goalpost only ever moved when it’s Nicki?...

Graham Norton has finally revealed the worst ever guest he had on The Graham Norton Show.
The talk show presenter, 59, was at an event in Dublin to promote his new book Forever Home, when he told the audience about one celebrity’s “chilling” behaviour.
The star in question was disgraced former Hollywood mogul and convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein, who is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence.
Before dozens of women came forward with allegations of sexual assault against Weinstein in 2017, the producer appeared in an episode of The Graham Norton Show in 2015, with fellow guests David Tennant, Olivia Colman and Jessie J.
“I often talk around who my least favourite guest was, but someone reminded me, I have a really good answer to this now,” Norton said at the event, according to Joe. “It’s Harvey Weinstein. He’s in jail, so he gets the prize for the worst guest ever.

Jessie J is reflecting on her emotional pain after experiencing a miscarriage last year. In a Aug. 19 Instagram post, the British pop star recalled how at age 16, she wrote a list of things she wanted by the time she was 30. "1st thing on the list was to be a Mum," she wrote. "Now I'm nearly 35 and some days the grief of losing a baby and it not being easy to have one, and wanting my life in that way to look completely different to what it looks like right now just overwhelms me." She continued, "I know it's healthy and normal to have days of complete sadness and to honour all the feelings that come up, good and bad. The bad isn't often at all and yes I could go through this moment...

Billy Porter says his goal in making his new film Anything’s Possible — which marks his directorial debut — was to present a Gen Z coming-of-age story centered on a trans girl that hadn’t existed before, a romantic comedy for today’s generation that’s made in the spirit of a John Hughes film like Pretty in Pink or Sixteen Candles.
“It’s been a dream for a long time. I’ve been working towards it for a very long time,” says Porter, the Emmy-winning star of Pose (who’s also three quarters of the way towards Egot status, thanks to a Tony for the Broadway show Kinky Boots and a Grammy for its soundtrack).
With a Heartstopper-like sweetness, Anything’s Possible, due out July 22 on Amazon Prime Video, tells the story of Kelsa. Played by Eva Reign, Kelsa is a Black...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 7, Episode 9, of “The Masked Singer,” “One Mask Hurrah – Round 3 Finals,” which aired May 4 on Fox.
Alas, En Vogue couldn’t hold on, and this time, it was Shaggy. Both 1990s artists were eliminated on Wednesday night during the Round 3 finales of this season’s “The Masked Singer.”
The En Vogue trio of Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron and Rhona Bennett were unmasked as the Queen Cobra, while Shaggy was revealed to be the Space Bunny.
For Queen Cobra, Nicole Scherzinger figured out it was En Vogue, and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg agreed. Robin Thicke thought it was another 90s R&b group, Swv; and Ken Jeong went big with the more contemporary combo of Ariana Grande/Jessie J/Nicki Minaj.
As for Space Bunny, Thicke was correct with Shaggy, and Scherzinger agreed. McCarthy Wahlberg thought it was Sean Kingston and Ken Jeong guessed Owen Wilson.

Saturday night, the Human Rights Campaign (Hrc), the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) civil rights organization, hosted its Greater New York Dinner.
Jessie J at Hrc Greater New York Dinner
The event featured speeches from Hrc’s interim president Joni Madison, who used her remarks to directly confront the right-wing anti-lgbtq+ misinformation campaign and called the current moment – when a slate of anti-lgbtq+ bills are passing in states across the country and misinformation is rampant— – an “emergency.”
“These lawmakers are simply pouring gasoline on a wildfire,” Human Rights Campaign Interim President Joni Madison said in her remarks of anti-lgbtq+ lawmakers. "They’re going on Fox News and reclaiming vintage hand-me-down hate — calling us predators and groomers. Marjorie Taylor Greene has called our community ‘pro-pedophile.’ But at the exact same time, one of her staunchest allies — Matt Gaetz — is under federal investigation for alleged sex crimes with a minor.
