- Paul Agusta was born in Jakarta on 1 September 1980. He was raised in Indonesia before moving to America to study film. Upon finishing film school, he returned to Indonesia to begin a varied career in film: from film critic (which he retired from in 2007), film programmer/curator, filmmaker, writer, actor, and arts educator. His short and feature films have been shown in various international film festivals such as International Film Festival Rotterdam, BiFan, Vancouver International Film Festival, Hawaii International Film Festival, and many more.
