- Johnnie Hobbs III is a director, performer and teacher known for Nostalgia (2012) and Redding (2015). Johnnie started his training at The New Freedom Theatre in Philadelphia, PA. He has offered his talents to many Philadelphia & LA theatre companies such as The New Freedom Theatre, Arden Theatre Company, Interact Theatre, ACT II Playhouse, and Matrix Theatre.
Behind the camera Johnnie directed and wrote the tap dance short film drama, "Nostalgia", starring "The West Wing" and "Psych" star, Dule Hill. The movie went on to be a part of several film festivals and be shown on television channels, Aspire TV, Short HD Channel and Indie Flix.
Johnnie has been a teacher/speaker on film and tap at The University of Colorado, Relativity School, Broadway Dance Center, Edge Performing Arts Dance Center in Hollywood, CA, Talent GPS in Alaska, Santa Monica City College, NYC's Broadway Dance Center and Temple University, among others.
