Patrick LaMont Frugé
- Actor
Born on August 23rd, 1955 in Erath, Louisiana, on the Bayou Tige, where
he was Baptized at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, and later
served as an "Altar Boy" when the Mass was performed in Latin, and
later in English, also performed in the church choir, when his mother
revealed to the Carmelite Nun directing the choir, that her son had a
"Beautiful singing voice", an embarrassing moment for a young boy, but
he enjoyed singing in the choir and acting as an Altar Boy. Played
Trumpet, 1st chair, in the school band, marching in parades, playing in
school concerts and at halftime during the football games. Moved with
his family to Los Angeles when he was 11 years old, where going from a
small town to a big city, he went from being an Altar Boy and Boy Scout
to being a long haired rock 'n' roller into sex, drugs and rock 'n'
roll, experiencing a variety of life's pleasures and problems, till he
came to the realization that he was happiest when he was acting and
singing, and life would be better without drugs and alcohol, and all
the trouble, problems, and pitfalls it could bring to him, mentally,
physically, spiritually, socially, and economically if he continued to
ignore the warning signals from his own and other peoples experiences.
Choosing to live a more holy, healthy, and happy life, in pursuit of
his artistic dreams of being an actor, singer, and a person who is both
entertaining and inspiring in life and performance. Living by virtue
instead of vice. From singing lead in over a dozen Rock, Blues, and R&B
bands, DJ for radio and nightclubs and runway modeling in fashion
shows, in his younger adult years, to focusing more solidly on his
acting, leading to a long list of credits of independent theatre, film,
television, commercial, industrial, and voice over productions.
