But he also has to deal with his guilty conscience after his role in a prank gone wrong. The film also stars Pablo Schreiber, Austin Abrams, Annabeth Gish, Ryan Lee, Paula Malcomson, and Bill Sage. Gravitas plans a June 1 release for the budding-romance drama that plays out against the backdrop of a teenager dealing with his guilty conscience after a prank that led to the death of his girlfriend's older brother.

Tye Sheridan, the young actor garnering buzz for his work opposite Matthew McConaughey in the indie hit Mud, is in negotiations to star in Grass Stains, a coming-of-age tale written and directed by Kyle Wilamowski. Kaitlyn Dever, who makes up part of the cast of ABC's comedy Last Man Standing and appeared in J. Edgar, is also in negotiations to join the project.
