Todd Leebow
- Producer
Todd Leebow was the executive producer of Senior Skip Day, a high school romp starring Tara Reid and Larry Miller. Senior Skip Day follows the exploits of a "semi-lame" senior who nearly ruins the year's biggest party - then takes it upon himself to salvage the proceedings.
Born and raised in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, Leebow is a product of Orange City Schools, a public system in northeast Ohio. After graduating from high school in the early 2000s, he pursued a degree in business management and entrepreneurship at the University of Miami (Florida).
In 2006, Leebow headed to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the film industry. His first major project was Senior Skip Day, widely considered a cult classic today. Todd Leebow worked on a number of other projects during a two-year stretch on the West Coast, then returned home to Cleveland to help steer his family's business through the Great Recession.
During his first years at Majestic Steel USA, a national steel service center founded by his father, Leebow had a hand in a number of dramatic changes to the company's operating structure and strategic focus. Among other initiatives, he and his executive colleagues vetoed plans to sell the company, invested in an ultramodern headquarters facility, and pursued an ambitious slate of digital transformations.
In the years since his promotion to the dual role of president and CEO, Todd Leebow has earned plaudits from industry observers and competitors alike for his visionary strategy and relentless focus on technological improvement - strengths not typically associated with the steel industry.
Even while taking steps to modernize Majestic's internal systems, Leebow and his team have invested heavily in a multifaceted effort to recruit the next generation of steel industry talent. Today, the company has dozens of legacy associates, whose parents and grandparents worked (in some cases, continue to work) as Majestic associates.
Todd Leebow's roles as President and CEO of Majestic Steel USA complement a broader portfolio. Leebow is the principal of Majestic Universe Ventures and Investments (MUVI), a diversified holding company with stakes in:
-Felux, a technology-driven industrial marketplace platform for the metals industry. Fleux debuted in May 2019, shedding new light on a notoriously opaque business. -Several hospitality and beverage firms, including: Kind of One Group, Kind of One Concepts, Variety Restaurant Ventures, and The Last Page. -Ring Ventures and Investments (Ring VI), a real estate investment portfolio. -Majestic Dynasty Investment Group, a broad-based investment portfolio.
Leebow is generous with his time and resources, supporting a number of local and national nonprofit organizations with chapters in the greater Cleveland area.
In his official capacity as President and CEO of Majestic Steel USA, Todd Leebow champions partnerships with Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland and Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity. Other notable charitable partners for Majestic Steel and the Leebow family include the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Hunger Network of Cleveland, Boys Hope Girls Hope of Northeastern Ohio, the American Red Cross, the American Cancer Society, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
