Going by the trailer of Applause Entertainment & BBC Studios India’s new thriller series Rudra, Ajay Devgan’s web debut is all set to be very auspicious. It’s a serial-killer thriller and the killer, not unlike some almost-forgotten actors who have made a grand comeback on Ott, makes a comeback with three murders.
Before we can whistle in dismay, Devgan gets cracking with the interesting investigation. He has always been a man of action more than a man of words. But this time he has the verbal swag at his disposal to put his fist where his mouth is. Early in the trailer he tells a colleague he waits for his adversaries to slip up. And if they don’t he says he pulls them into the darkness.

Comedy, the underdog, cricket and Raju Hirani – these are the things we absolutely love in Bollywood movies. And when we get them together in a single film, well it’s definitely a treat for us. Ferrari ki Sawaari is Rajesh Mapuskar’s sweet take on the middle class and their dreams.
Kayo (Ritvik Sahore) is a talented kid who wants to be the next Sachin Tendulkar. His father Rustom (Sharmam Joshi), an Rto clerk, is a doting father who strongly believes that children learn what they see and hence always remain honest and follows the law. That’s until a training camp at Lords for the top players is announced. Sure that Kayo will be selected on the basis of his merit, Rustom doesn’t want his son to be deprived of this opportunity just because of his inability to pay the fees. A chance encounter with a wedding planner...

Ferrari Ki Sawaari had its grand premiere a day before the worldwide release, after which the cast was hounded with compliments for the movie. Produced and written by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed by debutant Rajesh Mapuskar, Ferrari Ki Sawaari is the story of a father who is dedicated to help his 12-year-old son to achieve his dreams of being a cricketer.
The film is a joyful ride that is entertaining and should be watched along with your family. Ferrari Ki Sawaari strikes that emotional chord which makes you forget the hustle bustle of daily life and changes the way you look at life. It is apart from the norm and combines emotion beautifully along with cricket.
Sharman Joshi’s performance is heart-warming as the actor moves through an array of emotions with ease. The chemistry between the father and son on-screen appears too real to be doubted, little Ritwik...

Though his name is mentioned in the film, all the talks of the ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar being in Ferrari Ki Sawaari has come to zero. We have it from very reliable sources that Sachin finally decided to not make that appearance in Rajesh Mapuskar's Ferrari Ki Sawaari. In fact, our source tells us, it was decided long before the film's completion that Sachin Tendulkar would remain an invisible presence in the film. "However the brains behind the film decided to keep the intrigue and suspense alive until the film's release by letting people play a guessing game about Sachin's presence in the film. The truth is, Sachin graciously agreed to let his name be used in the film. That's about it. Beyond that, there was never any question of him making an appearance in the film."
