Hallmark's latest holiday film, airing Friday, November 17 at 8/7 on the Hallmark Channel, reminds us of the importance of Christmas miracles. The lighthouse shines bright, locals care about each other, and the film features small-town charm.
Navigating Christmas features three people -- Melanie, Peter, and Jason, who have been disillusioned and hurt by those they love and find themselves healing by the spirit of the holidays.
Melanie Hobbs, Stephen Huszar, and Everett Andres star in this film, and none of them are strangers to the Hallmark franchise.
But this film was unique because Chelsea Hobbs and Everett Andres had previously portrayed mother and son on The Holiday Sitter in 2022. That helped to build a realistic connection between them.
Everett Andres sold this film. If you ask anyone, it's difficult being a divorced kid, but especially that first Christmas.
You only want your parents to get back together, but you hesitate...

Fans believe in the magic of Hallmark programming. It's feel-good, heartwarming entertainment that often reminds you of the beauty in this world.
It's also one of the few options available if you're looking for a little old-fashioned romance. It's the on-screen counterpart of Harlequin Romance novels, which bypass sex for love.
Hallmark movies give us hope that we, too, will find a soul willing to see the best of us while accepting our faults.
Katie Cassidy and Stephen Huszar star in A Royal Christmas Crush, premiering this Saturday on Hallmark Channel. Hunky royals are a modern-day fantasy in the Hallmark universe, and Katie's Ava Jensen and Stephen's Prince Henry fall madly in love.
As it turns out, so did the costars, as Katie and Stephen announced recently they were, in fact, a couple.

Hallmark Christmas movies remain as cozy as ever, with tree-lighting, cookie-decorating and magical snowfall still the currency of the realm. But since the arrival of Wonya Lucas as the new CEO of Hallmark Media (formerly Crown Media) in 2020, the network’s offerings have branched out in many ways: Lots more diversity, of course — including, this year, Hallmark’s first holiday romance centered on a same-sex relationship and the network’s first film focused on Kwanzaa — but also new and different plots.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Chesapeake Shores Season 6 Episode 8 “I Get a Kick Out of You.”] Until the final moments of the latest Chesapeake Shores, the biggest things in the episode seem to be David (Carlo Marks) trying to find his dad (Malcolm Stewart) a lawyer and Evan (Robert Buckley) getting a surprise family reunion. But that changes when Luke (Stephen Huszar) stops at a gas station, and now we’re left wondering if the series’ penultimate episode might be very tragic. On the way back from visiting his parents’ graves on his mother’s birthday, Luke is in the store at the gas station when a man walks in to rob the place. The cashier hurries to give him the money from the register, but she insists she doesn’t know the combination to the safe. Luke intervenes, trying to get the robber to leave, then distracts him by saying there’s a sign...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Chesapeake Shores Season 6 Episode 5 “L-o-v-e.”] Things seemed to be going well for Bree (Emilie Ullerup) and Luke (Stephen Huszar) so far on Chesapeake Shores, as with the other couples, so of course something had to happen to change things up. And in the latest episode, it’s a fortune telling machine and the fallout when she thinks he pulled a pranked on her. After Luke finds a Mr. Mystic and sets it up at the Arcade section of the festival — the most romantic night in Chesapeake Shores, treated like Valentine’s Day — Bree gives it a whirl. “The love of your life is right before your eyes,” her fortune reads, and she thinks he planted it. Then his fortune reads the same thing, and she definitely thinks he arranged the cards. Blame Mr. Mystic, he insists. When Bree tells Jess (Laci J Mailey) that she thinks Luke fixed the machine...

While her days as WWE Women’s Champion might seem far behind, Trish Stratus has maintained her fit look years after her last run as champion and still seems ready for another match.
The 46-year-old wrestling legend and actress took to her official Instagram to wow fans with a new image of herself rocking a tiny bikini during a getaway to Florida.
Posing for a selfie, Trish wore eyeglasses and a colorful black robe with pink and white designs, leaving it open to reveal her skimpy black bikini featuring wide band bottoms.
Trish was no stranger to wearing skimpy attire during her previous years in WWE’s Attitude Era, as she often was in bikinis or lingerie in or around the ring.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Chesapeake Shores Season 6 Episode 3 “Night and Day.”] There’s good and bad news about Mick (Treat Williams) in the latest Chesapeake Shores: He and Megan (Barbara Niven) finally have that talk about their past and present, but he’s still popping pills and lying about it, even though his cast is off and his doctor refused to give him another prescription. David Astorga/Hallmark Media First, Mick and those pills: He takes one at the bar, and again, it’s Luke (Stephen Huszar) who notices. Mick claims it’s just an aspirin for a headache. Then, before he goes into Megan’s house for their dinner and talk, he takes another. With Megan leaving for Los Angeles, how long will it take their children to realize something’s off (and hopefully not attribute it to their parents’ long-distance relationship?) [Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Chesapeake Shores Season 6 Episode 2 “Memories Are Made of This.”] Something tells us the O’Brien family is going to have to have another sit-down similar to what they do for Megan (Barbara Niven) in the second episode of Chesapeake Shores Season 6 soon, but for a much more serious matter. Last season, Mick (Treat Williams) was involved in a “pretty aggressive” landing (otherwise known as a plane crash) and has been taking painkillers for his broken arm. But it looks like we were right to worry about that because it becomes obvious in “Memories Are Made for This” that he has a problem. He keeps getting names wrong when speaking with Luke (Stephen Huszar) about the bar — and reacts poorly when the other man tries to broach the subject. Then, when Mick gets the cast off, he asks his doctor about a refill for his prescription. He doesn’t need it anymore,...

As a big fan of Robert Buckley, allow me to say that I do not like Evan Kincaid. At least not yet, anyway.
He made his first appearance on Chesapeake Shores Season 5 Episode 3, and the billionaire shtick was worn out after about two sentences.
The other big development of the hour was Connor's courtroom assignment and discovering that the family nemesis is a client.
Let's work our way up to the big stuff.
We finally saw Sarah again. Why is her story so thin when she's Kevin's wife now? They are not featured often enough. Jessica Sipos is a treasure, and Sarah deserves to be incorporated into the storyline.
Other than referencing the wedding and Megan's centerpiece work, there was nothing from Jess and David. They've got work to do with the newly opened inn and wedding plans.
Bree is getting ready to begin her new position, so touching base with her was nice.

If you watch a lot of Hallmark (and why wouldn't you), then faces start to become familiar. The actors who bring the characters to life for Hallmark dramas and romantic comedies become like family.
We recently had the opportunity to catch up with Stephen Huszar who has a brand new holiday movie on the calendar this year with A Homecoming for the Holidays.
He's a genuinely charming man, and it was a great pleasure speaking with him about the many different facets of his professional life. He even shared hints of his holiday celebrations with family.
In the movie that premiered on Saturday, December 7 and replays throughout the month, Broadway actress and musician Laura Osnes plays an aspiring country singer named Charlotte who meets Stephen's character, Matt, while she's getting ready to usher off her brother on his first overseas military deployment.

"Why am I dreaming about drinking blood?"
The first trailer has been released for the upcoming horror film Rabid, which is a remake of David Cronenberg’s 1977 film of the same name. The movie stars Laura Vandervoort (Smallville) in the role of Rose, a woman with a bright future who ends up being horrifically disfigured in a tragic accident.
She ends up going through a "radical untested stem cell treatment" that seems good at first, but it ends up making her hungry for flesh. The synopsis reads:
What happens when you realize that to achieve your dreams you have to live a nightmare? Rose is a quiet, demure, unassuming woman in her looks and actions. Her dream is to become a famous designer in the fashion world, but a terrible accident leaves Rose scarred beyond recognition. She seeks out a radical untested stem cell treatment. It seems Barry is so desperate to save Iris that he was seriously thinking about letting Plunder escape, if it meant a future where Savitar murders the love of his life never occurs. However, his momentary lapse in judgement was on the verge of proving fatal until Kid Flash arrives in a nick of time. As we've seen in previous seasons, Barry can sometimes be his own worst enemy. Is his knowledge of the future the element that will prove to be his own undoing? Find out tonight at 8/7c on The CW when The Flash season 3 returns from midseason hiatus. Barry Fights For Iris — Barry (Grant Gustin) is tormented by his vision of the future where Iris (Candice Patton) is murdered by Savitar. When a criminal named Plunder (guest star Stephen Huszar) shows up in Central City, Barry recalls the villain’s presence in his vision of the future...

Ahead of next week’s midseason premiere of The Flash, The CW has released a new clip from the episode. As you can see, it starts with the team celebrating Wally West’s successful takedown of the villainous Plunder, but Barry Allen doesn’t seem too pleased with his sidekick’s actions.
That’s because when he made his first trip to the future and witnessed the murder of Iris West at the hands of Savitar, he also saw a news report about Plunder’s trial. Determined to prove he can change the future, the fact that Plunder is now in Iron Heights may well disprove that theory, and that’s potentially bad news for the Scarlet Speedster’s one true love.
For more on what to expect from this episode of The Flash – titled “Borrowing Problems From The Future” – here’s the official synopsis:

Aside from having the opportunity to join Batman in a sure to be epic comic book team-up this spring, the immediate future for The Flash looks to be every bit as intense as it is exciting. Thanks to this newly released extended promo, counting down the seven remaining days until the midseason premiere, “Borrowing Problems from the Future,” just got even harder.
While we await the return of Rick Cosnett, we’ll turn out attention to Barry Allen attempting to avert the brutal murder of his beloved Iris West at the hands of Savitar that’s set to occur several months in the future. I think Barry’s obsession with changing the past has now been eclipsed by his desire to shape the future, which may very well be the moral of season 3. In other words, so many of us may focus on our past, which we have no ability to change,...

When The Flash returns on January 24th, it will be in an episode appropriately titled "Borrowing Problems from the Future." As you can see in the promo below, Barry Allen is doing everything in his power to stop Iris West's death at the hands of Savitar from taking place, and whether or not he'll be able to succeed is clearly going to be a huge part of the second half of the show's third season now. Chances are she won't die, but here's hoping The Flash still has plenty of big twists and turns on the way as the story develops. Anyway, watch the promo and let us know your thoughts down below. When we last saw the Fastest Man Alive in The Flash, he had vowed to save Iris West’s life after an accidental trip forward in time led to him witnessing the murder of his girlfriend at the hands of Savitar. However, what you may not have noticed is the fact that a news report was playing in the background about a villain called Plunder being sentenced to prison.
It also revealed that he was caught by the Flash, so when he appears in Central City in the midseason premiere, Barry Allen has second thoughts about stopping him in the hope of proving that the future can be changed. A bad guy like that can’t be left to run rampant, though, hence why Wally West’s Kid-Flash is going to have to step up in his place to take him down.
