- Won notice playing brassy night club owner "Clair Bridgeman" on Love of Life (1951) soap from 1967-1970.
- Appeared in over 300 commercials and later taught acting in New York City.
- Native of Hartford, Connecticut and survived by son David Lauren Steinhardt (aka Vid Hardt).
