JoAnna Garcia Swisher can't wait for fans to see what "Sweet Magnolias" season three has in store. "I'm ready for it to come out. I know everyone else feels that same way," she recently told Popsugar, "and I actually know what happens, so I'm ready for everyone to enjoy it. It's just a great season."
Swisher plays Maddie Townsend on the show, which follows three best friends - Maddie, Helen Decatur (Heather Headley), and Dana Sue Sullivan (Brooke Elliott) - as they navigate relationships, teenage kids, and all of life's ups and downs. Swisher said season three, which premieres on July 20, will focus even more closely on the characters' friendships. "I think that the dust is settling in Serenity, but there's still all of these incredible relationships and all this love," she said, adding that the season will look "a little bit deeper into our friendships and the Magnolias' friendships.

Season 2 of Sweet Magnolias premiered in February 2022. That season ended on something of a cliffhanger, with Cal (Justin Bruening) getting arrested following an altercation at Sullivan’s, Ryan’s (Michael Shenefelt) surprise proposal to Helen (Heather Headley), and the shocking revelation that Maddie’s (JoAnna Garcia Swisher) ex Bill (Chris Klein) was Isaac’s (Chris Medlin) father. Plus, Dana Sue (Brooke Elliott) reunited with her estranged husband Ronnie (Brandon Quinn).
The finale also introduced a mysterious woman from Dana Sue’s past. The stranger slashed Dana Sue’s tires and accosted her daughter Annie (Anneliese Judge). But who...

There's a reason why Sarah Drew and Justin Bruening continue to do projects together. They simply never miss.
Their chemistry is out of this world and always so endearing to watch that it draws you in whenever they're onscreen together. Reindeer Games Homecoming is a prime example of this.
And Sarah Drew was as lovely as always, starring in, executive producing, and penning this heartfelt story of grief, love, and finding oneself.
Reindeer Games had many of the common staples for a classic Christmas film. We had the small-town heroine reconnecting with the hot-shot high school crush who went off and became famous.
We had those fun festivities and a great sense of community that was prominent thanks to the supporting characters. And some conflict and other things almost interfered with our couple finding their way back to one another and having their happily ever after.

Life in Serenity is looking anything but serene these days. Netflix on Friday released the official trailer for Sweet Magnolias‘ upcoming second season, and the ladies are drowning in drama — and margaritas, thankfully.

There's nothing quite like a sister's love.

It's the reunion we never thought would happen on-screen, but will it be strictly platonic?
Grey's Anatomy Season 17 Episode 14 will welcome Sarah Drew back into the fold as April Kepner, and if the first trailer is to be believed, a Japril reunion could be in the cards.
We see Jackson (Jesse Williams) driving through a storm before arriving on April's doorstep.
"Alright, I know this seems impulsive and out of nowhere, but it's not," he says to himself.
"I've thought this through."
It's a wild trailer, especially considering that it shows a lot of flashbacks of Japril.
Drew appeared on the show from 2009 to 2018, and fans were less than thrilled when the character was written off the series.
She went on to marry Matthew (Justin Bruening), the former fiance she'd left at the altar to run away with Jackson.
But could Japril really be on the road to a reunion?...

Exclusive: Amid the darkness of covering the coronavirus pandemic on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy this season, there have been bright moments, many of them tied to the return of beloved former cast members.
Following Patrick Dempsey, who has been recurring this season, and T.R. Knight, who appeared in an episode last fall, Sarah Drew also will check back into Grey Sloan this season, Deadline can reveal.
She will reprise her fan-favorite character of Dr. April Kepner in an upcoming episode.
And more Grey’s alums might be on their way back, appearing in the dream beach sequences. As Grey’s Anatomy showrunner Krista Vernoff teased this week, “chances are good you’ll see other people on the beach.”
Drew left Grey’s at the end of Season 14 in 2018 after nine seasons, eight of them as a series regular. She started as a recurring in Season 6 before getting promoted to a regular the following season.

Before he lorded over Black Gold Cooperative in the newly released Wonder Woman 1984, Pedro Pascal made nice with the Amazonian princess in the famously ill-fated NBC pilot starring Adrianne Palicki.
Landing a plum role on the buzzy 2011 TV project “was like a dream come true,” Pascal told our sister site Variety.

Pedro Pascal gives a humungous scene-chewing performance as the villainous Maxwell Lord in “Wonder Woman 1984,” but it turns out the role is far from the first time the “Mandalorian” favorite has played around in the DC Comics universe. In the early days of his acting career, Pascal landed a supporting role on David E. Kelley’s much-buzzed about 2011 TV pilot for “Wonder Woman.” Pascal played Ed Indelicato, a police detective who was Diana Prince’s liaison to the LAPD. The cast included Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman, Tracie Thoms as Etta Candy, and Justin Bruening as Steve Trevor.
